Nice and warm stay we wish we can stay longer

We loved this home! There are so many thoughtful details. The kitchen has everything we needed, to cook dinner and dessert. We appreciate the tea and tea kettle, and all the mugs, for a cozy winter weekend. The living room and dining room area is so comfortable. We loved the puzzles and games and records. Thank you again for a lovely place to stay!

Perfect getaway! The garage area setup with a bar, refrigerator, heater, and games was an absolute hit! The house had plenty of room for our group, plus some. Very clean. Theresa was an absolute delight to communicate with and answered all questions in a timely manner. Definitely felt right at home and if anything was needed she would help! Will be returning for sure!

My out-of-state adult children were delighted to stay at Carol's place over the holidays. They thought it was one of the nicest Airbnbs they've stayed at over the years, with a very cozy, homey feel. Several members of my family have sensitivities to scents and really appreciated that there weren't any artificial fragrances in the house or strong detergent smells in the bedding. They also said the cotton sheets were wonderful. The whole house was super clean and well appointed. Personally, Carol was great to work with in setting up the reservation. She was the most pro-active Airbnb host that I've ever worked with, checking in several times with me to make sure that all of my family's needs would be met. I would very highly recommend her home if you are looking for a clean, comfortable place to stay in the area. She's an excellent host!

This place is super cute and cozy. The host has thought about everything. Staying in the dead of winter, I appreciated how warm it was and the added touch of flannel sheets in the bed. And plenty of spices and cookware for making meals. I will rent this place again when in town visiting family!

Wonderful holiday experience at the farm! We had kids, aged 18 months to seven years old, and they were thoroughly entertained. Loved the generous access to the farm, all the animals & kittens. The house is very spacious and beautiful with an awesome fireplace. Would definitely recommend TerraVista as a great family stay!

Another great stay at Prairie Song for my husband and son. It is a favorite and I expect they will return again many times.

We loved staying at Larry's place. It was pretty simple but had everything we needed. We enjoyed having the huge tub to relax in after a long day of biking. I would not hesitate to come back again.

Thank you Corinna and Mike for an awesome stay at Red Pines! Because I had to stay in Onalaska for 1 month, I had the opportunity to stay in their lodging twice. Both stays were amazing! Not only were the units so clean and well managed, but the owners are extremely friendly and quick to communicate. During my stay, they even changed to electronic door locks which make it even more convenient for guests to enter and exit the home. Not to mention, Red Pines Restaurant was a great alternative to at home meals! They also have a new cafe right below the lodging so that is open right before work! There is plenty of parking and the lake is absolutely beautiful at sunset. Everything about my stay was amazing! Thank you!

We had a great stay! Everything was clean when we arrived and looked like the pictures. It was very homey and cute. Would definitely stay again!

This space was perfect for our big group. Plenty of seating and sleeping arrangements for everyone with tons of extra towels, pillows, and bedding. The location is a quiet and private spot along the river with beautiful views. We liked that it was within walking distance from downtown Winona and loved hanging out around a fire at the end of the day. Julie went above and beyond as a host, was easy to communicate with, and flexible with our checkout time so we could spend more time enjoying each other’s company in her great space!

Very clean and comfortable place. The host was responsive and hospitable. The kitchen was very well stocked with dishes and everything was clean and tidy. Great place to stay in Decorah!

We really enjoyed our stay at Dawn and Christine's place. Communication was great, as was the instructions for finding and accessing the property. Great spot on the water with several neighborhood bars within a couple blocks. The place was spotless and had all described amenities. Easy check-in/check-out and we appreciated all the local recommendations. Would definitely stay again next time we are in Lacrosse.

We needed a place to stay close to our daughter who is in college. Ed & Sandy's place was only a few minute drive to her campus, peacefully quiet, very clean and comfortable. They made available all sorts of reading material on local attractions, restaurants and things to do in the area. I loved the decor which represents the area well. We didn't need much, but when we did, Ed & Sandy responded very quickly. I would definitely stay again!

Norma Jean & Daryl are welcoming, kind hosts with an absolutely beautiful property! They were attentive to our safety as there was winter weather and helpful at every turn. My friend & I were celebrating a milestone birthday and had a perfect stay at their place.

We love it here! It quickly became our home away from home! This was our 3rd trip to the cabin and definitely won’t be the last!

Chad and Vickie have a great place in the Driftless. It’s the perfect spot to relax after a day of fishing; clean, peaceful, well maintained. It was a pleasure to stay there. This was my second time at their property and I plan to return.

This cabin was perfect! So beautiful and in a gorgeous location. Everything was so clean, cozy, and beautiful. Check in was a breeze as well. I will be returning when I visit the area! Cannot recommend enough!

This was our first visit to Viroqua, and we expect to visit again in the fall as the natives have suggested. The farm to table eatery, The Driftless Cafe, a must, but reservations are required. For a lighter food fare, visit the Fortney Hotel after 5 pm, with live music provided by some of the best local talent. The coffee shop we highly recommend who serve the best pastries and breakfast in town's, the WONDERSTATE! Another must is the Old Towne Inn supper club! All provided exemplary customer service, and they did not disappoint.

Our stay at Backwaters lodge was a good time, the cabin is really nice and the scenery is beautiful. Dan is absolutely amazing, I have never had a host care about his guest like he does! If going to La Crosse area I highly recommend staying here. Thanks again Dan! I'll definitely be back!!!

We had a wonderful stay at the cabin! The area is lovely-the cabin is nestled in a valley surrounded by rolling hills. You cross a small stream that feeds a pond in front and then see the wooden cabin built into the bluff. We booked last minute - literally on our 2 hour drive up-and Greg contacted us on the way up with clear instructions and help getting in. We visited in the winter and arrived in damp rain to find a warm cozy respite from the elements. We made a fire in the wood burning stove-played board games and had lasagna while watching the sun set out the windows. You are really out in the woods- no neighbors in sight. Our 4 teenage kids loved sleeping in the loft and we slept very well on the first floor. The cabin is a short drive into Viroqua- about 12 minutes, but we mostly enjoyed relaxing at the home and walking around the area. We have traveled all over the world and stayed at many vacation homes and have found few owners as gracious and accommodating as Greg and Lindsey.

What a wonderful and peaceful place for a weekend getaway, host had amazing recommendations in the area (Kelly’s Coffee House for some coffee and breakfast) and very attentive to our needs. The cabin was just as described and very clean and cozy. Everything is within a short driving distance if you have to go to the store for other things which made it very convenient. Will be coming back in the future for a lot longer than just a weekend!!
