Great little spot very quiet and comfortable

Great stay! Little far from things to do, but a very relaxing place to be! Highly suggest going to “Monkey Place” about 20 min from the stay- really cool place!

We absolutely loved our stay here. Beautiful place surrounded by nature. We loved the garden, hot tub and bbq area. Amilcar and his wife were so friendly and helpful a during our stay. It’s a perfect place for a couple or a four person trip. The internet was excellent, we worked online all week with no issues. Thank you to Amilcar for your hospitality! We will be back :)

Desde el inicio la comunicación fue rápida y clara. Siempre estuvieron muy atentos. Fue fácil llegar y ubicarnos. El chalet estaba muy limpio y se sentía muy cómodo todo. El área del jacuzzi es muy relajante, rodeado de naturaleza y relajante. La pasamos super bien.

Un lugar con tranquilo y seguro con la piscina y áreas de parrilla excelente. Un lugar perfecto para disfrutar con familia o amigos.Gran atención por parte de los anfitriones, súper recomendado

Mauricio's Rental was an Amazing stay in La Fortuna. The cabin and huge hot tub w/ waterfall were a highlight of our stay. The Landscaping is amazing, and there is a Sloth sanctuary 50m from the property!!! We saw tons of wildlife here, exotic birds, monkeys, and Sloths! Would recommend 100% for your stay in La Fortuna! I will always cherish the three days I spent in paradise here in La Fortuna Thanks Mauricio!!!

Wonderful cabin! It was our first stay in Costa Rica and we loved it. We used the hot tub but didn’t get a chance to use the sauna since we were busy adventuring. Highly recommend this place.

Great experience very private. We enjoyed the hot tub I love the opportunity to give back to regular Costa Rican people they suffer the noise and crowds to provide us tourists an opportunity to experience their beautiful country. Karen’s little casita was a wonderful experience.

This place was wonderful, the area is beautiful and we would certainly come back. The bed was large and comfortable, the space was clean and quiet. The view of the volcano was amazing! Melania is a wonderful host, she always responded quickly when we had questions and sent is great recommendations for places to eat at in the area!

Ernesto’s place was wonderful to stay at! It is in a beautiful location surrounded by forest, walking distance to Curi-Cancha Reserve, and great places to eat. Ernesto himself is very kind and helpful and I can tell he wants guests to have a nice time in Monteverde. The cabin is super cute, too, and has amenities!

Silvia is an amazing host! She is friendly, has a lot of recommendations for activities and she even books these activities for you if you want! We did three activities booked by her and we loved them all. The house is located a short drive from La Fortuna. The house itself is beautiful and has a nice garden where you can enjoy nature. The only little negative point I have is that the kitchen table is narrow and that the accompanying chairs have no backrest. This is also visible in the pictures on the ad, so it was not a surprise. All in all, I would totally recommend this house and Silvia as a host!

Loved our stay :) close to town but secluded enough that you feel like you’re in the jungle and away from the noise. Great spot!

It is very off the beaten path, but we knew that when we booked. I did feel like it was safe. The road in was fine for us without four wheel drive but it didn’t rain hard while we were there. It takes about 30 minutes to get to Pure Trek/Hot Springs area. This is the only downside. We would do our activities for the day and go back for the night. Lara’s Food in Chachagua has great fried chicken! The place is absolutely beautiful. The setting was worth the drive for us. Irene has added many thoughtful touches in and around the house. We didn’t see sloths or toucans on the property, but we learned on guided tours that we aren’t very good at spotting them! We did see lots of lizards, including a big basilisk, and bullfrogs around the pool at night, and heard and saw lots of birds. We also saw tiny bats that were so cute! The river, birds, and insects make the most enchanting surrounding. It’s a wonderful place!

Gerardo’s place was fantastic! We had a blast! Independent how great our daily activity was on any on the days, we always looked forward getting back to the house. The place was very quiet and private surrounded with beautiful trees. Leaves were cleaned; everything was pleasant. House is also surrounded with gravel, so the place must be very comfortable and not muddy in rainy season as well. There was no AC, but interestingly, we did not feel the need for one. Slept with open windows and with a fan on; it was great. The kitchen was simple, yet was always capable of making nice breakfasts. Grocery store was very close, less than 5 min drive. Every morning enjoyed the great view of trees. My kids saw exotic animals at the river. The pool was very clean and great for chilling off at the end of the day. Danny was very sweet and always helpful. Gerardo offered nice breakfast for us!! The food his wife made for us was just amazing! I will definitely go back again and 100% recommend the place

This is an amazing experience with genuine and extremely professional & friendly hosts. They get a 20 star rating. Make sure to do the night hike and also dinners. Jay is extremely knowledgeable and Nohelia’s cooking is to die for.

David’s cabin is perfect if you want a quiet place with access to amazing trails through the forests of Monteverde.

Wonderful place to stay if you are looking for something intimate and truly in nature (saw many frogs, insects and birds!). Taxis/not SUV cars won't always go all the way to the cabin, plan your transportation accordingly. Overall great experience !

Nous avons adoré notre cabane dans cette ferme. Très confortable, nous avons très bien dormi. Un peu isolé du centre ville, mais c’est ce que nous voulions. Nous avons aperçu des perroquets au réveil, quoi demander de plus !!

Excelente lugar muy cómodo y acogedor definitivamente de los alojamientos donde volveré a ir, super tranquilo mucha naturaleza y el anfitrión muy atento.

Gerardo’s place was amazing. I’m so happy we booked here instead of somewhere in La Fortuna town. The interior design was beautiful and we loved the large tub. The bed was super comfortable and we loved how tranquil the area was. Lots of privacy and perfect for a romantic getaway. Even better than the photos!

Beautiful place with all the necessities

This is our second time back at this air bnb and we could not be happier. The breakfast provided by the abuela and abuelo is absolutely delicious and worth every penny. The host is responsive and helpful with any and all questions and you can tell there is a lot of care put into these cute cabins and beautiful surroundings. This is a place we will continue to come back to for years to come.
