We stayed here for my best friend’s bachelorette with a group of 10 girls. It was the most beautiful locations with so many places to eat and drink nearby. There was more than enough space for all of us. Everyone was super happy with the sleeping accommodations and even the pullout mattresses were super comfortable!! I loved this place and we had the best time cooking, playing games and going to the beach. 10/10 would recommend for a big group!!

Perfect Stay for a Beach Getaway! We couldn’t have asked for a better spot to stay in Ocean Beach! From the moment we arrived, everything felt just right. The place was spotless, beautifully decorated, and had that perfect laid-back beach vibe. It had everything we needed – a cozy bed, well-stocked kitchen, and a front porch where we could sip coffee and watch the sunset. The location was unbeatable – just a short walk to the beach, great restaurants, and local shops. We loved how quiet and peaceful it was at night, making it the perfect place to relax after a day of exploring. The host was super responsive and made sure we had everything we needed, which made our stay even better. It’s clear they put a lot of thought into making guests feel at home. My girlfriend and I already miss it and are counting down the days until we can come back. Highly recommend for couples looking for a perfect beach escape!

Great place to stay with my family for a week while celebrating a wedding. Location is very walkable to stores, restaurants and both the bay side and ocean side beaches. The house had plenty of beach chairs, towels and sand toys for our needs. The baby gates at each stairway were a very welcomed feature. A large dining table allowed us plenty of space for eating and later playing cards. The house was clean, well stocked and Michael very responsive. We would definitely stay again if we were back that way!

We absolutely loved our stay! Angela provided a list of recommendations for walkable food spots and the house was just as pictured! It rained most of our trip but the house some games available and we still had a blast! We will definitely be back!

This place was HEAVEN!! We fell in love with the place. The place was spotless and looked exactly like the photos. A 15 min walk to restaurants and shops. We enjoyed the view from the couch every morning and the view from the lifeguard chairs in the evening. The Airbnb hosts were helpful and responsive. This place felt like home and can not wait to book again! Thank you!

Mike was awesome. My family and I are from near Pasadena CA. Mike was awesome in making us feel welcomed in lieu of the unfortunate fires in LA county. His house was beautiful. The view of the ocean was exactly what we wanted. As a plus, the spot was near a brewery (walking distance) where they had amazing coffee and food. We were also about 20 mins from downtown, and a short drive to nearby stores like Costco and Target. Thanks Mike for everything!

Anthony was very responsive to our few questions that we had. We loved the place—it was perfect for us. They had thought of all the little frills that make it nice: seasonings and enough,kitchen, utensils, and kitchen, tools, and games for the kids. And the fact that my husband needed accommodations for his wheelchair, etc. the house was very accessibility, friendly! Thank you, Anthony!

I stayed here for three weeks. It was wonderful. The place was neat and cozy. Walkable to restaurants, stores, museums, and, thrilling to this midwesterner, about a 90 second walk to the beach. Felt totally safe walking around at night. Communication with Rachel was great, and Pete who managed the property responded immediately and was full of helpful suggestions, from where to order pizza to where to get my car fixed. Really enjoyed my stay, and would love to return some day!

Our multigenerational family of six enjoyed our stay at Dan’s Oceanside home, and we will definitely stay here again. If you value privacy, safety, and comfort, you will love Dan’s place for you and your family. We are a no pet, no smoking, no alcohol drinking, no shoes indoors, environmentally conscious family and Dan’s clean, comfortable, safe, and relaxing home was the perfect find. If you enjoy cooking like we do, the kitchen is well equipped with excellent quality cookware and appliances. The house does not have central AC but there are ceiling fans, which we used, and portable fans (which we didn’t need to use) as the house gets a nice breeze throughout. If you are sensitive to sound, you can definitely hear some minimal noise from nearby highway and trains, but nothing we couldn’t tolerate. Hot tub operation is remotely controlled and requires contact with Dan to be heated. House manual with information/rules to make sure everyone has a pleasant stay, is respectful of property

This little beach house is a bit of an oasis in the middle of a very densely packed, vacation rental area of Carlsbad. The house sits on a good sized lot that is nicely landscaped and private with abundant outdoor space to enjoy the beautiful weather. The pool and patio area provided lots of fun entertainment for our grandkids! The house was very clean and well maintained. It is an older beach home that has had nice updates to the two bathrooms- modern tile in the shower, tub area and floors. Also the frameless glass in the master bath shower was very appreciated. You can park the car and walk to everything in Carlsbad village and the beach is a block and a half away! The only negative is the close proximity to the noisy train. The train itself doesn’t disturb so much, but the horn blasts are quite irritating. You will encounter this problem in many locations close to the beach. Overall a great place to stay in Carlsbad.

Great space indoor and outdoor for a wonderful Thanksgiving ! Very quiet and great location!

We loved our stay here! We are local to San Diego and unfortunately had to relocate after a pipe burst and flooded our house. Staying at Nicholas’s home was such a relief during a crazy time and made my entire family feel comfortable. The kids enjoyed the pool, jacuzzi, swings and my husband and I loved the open space and being able to watch our dogs and kids from the kitchen. This place is stocked with everything you need and it is absolutely gorgeous! We will definitely be booking again!

This location is everything! They were also extra accommodating and understanding-great hosts! Even hough it's an old house, the inside was very clean and comfortable. Well stocked, tons of space and storage, and short walks to the best restaurants, shops and of course beaches. I would be cautious bringing a crawling baby because of the old exterior paint peeling but otherwise great for families! Also side note-so appreciative they use unscented detergent which is so rare for airbnbs!

Loved the stay! View is priceless. Pictures are accurate and the home was spotless. Food options near but if you want to stay home Kitchen is fully stocked. We will be back.

We loved the home and felt very safe and comfortable. The sunsets are great and it was nice watching surfers from the house. Denise was very responsive also because we wanted to drop our luggage off as we were headed to Legoland.

This was by far the best AirBNB I have ever stayed at. Clean, big, beautiful, fully stocked with everything you need and amazing views. Danielle was an amazing host and we will be returning in the future.

This location is perfect: walk a few blocks one way to the Bay and a few blocks the other way to the Beach. Many good restaurants within walking distance as well. San Diego, the airport, and La Jolla are also conveniently within driving distance. Great local feel; not overly touristy. Very safe--even walking at night to the Bay to watch the fireworks over Sea World! The house was also perfect for our needs. Comfortable for five of us cooking, sleeping, watching tv, having breakfast on the patio. Some convenient chairs and a wagon for beach items. Didn't feel like we were in each other's way at all, but had lots of space to also be together. JP was very responsive and gave us several good recommendations. We really enjoyed staying here and would come back again in a heartbeat!
