Comfortable beds, awesome backyard with pool and hot tub, great location- walking distance to restaurants, coffee shops, park and very close to lots of site seeing. great location and amenities - we really appreciated the garage parking spot as it's in a popular beach area. Easy access to the beach boardwalk, and the house has a nice saltwater pool and spa with all the floaties and life jackets for the kids. We found everything we needed to have a fantastic spring break!

Nestled in the scenic hills of El Cajon, the property is peaceful, beautifully maintained, and feels like a true retreat. The outdoor space is a dream—lush landscaping, a relaxing seating area, and the kind of quiet that lets you truly unwind. Our host was incredibly welcoming and responsive. Whether you’re looking to explore San Diego or just relax in a serene setting, this is the perfect place. We left feeling refreshed, grateful, and already planning our next trip!

What a lovely home! We spent 5 days here with our family of 5 and it was absolutely wonderful. The home is spacious and open, very clean, and beautifully decorated. We loved the pool and watching airplanes take off and land in the distance. The neighborhood is very quiet and peaceful. Would stay here again!

We had a great stay over spring break! Our group was 5 adults & 4 children, but we never felt cramped! The neighborhood is charming and felt safe, even to this small town family. We walked into the Kensington main street area most days - for coffee (Starbucks), acai bowls & organic groceries (Stehly Farms Market), pizza, burgers (kids eat free on Tuesday!), and ice cream (you MUST try the Ube & Toffee flavor at Stella Jeans)! :) The kids loved the pool/ hot tub, although it was a shame the pool guy never checked in over our weeklong stay. With 4 children in the pool every day, the water was cloudy by the time we left. I blame myself for not letting Zeina and Mo know, as they were responsive for all my other queries. The casita was a blessing for grandma and grandpa, who needed their quiet time. The only real complaint I heard from our group was that the house smells stale (like the charming old house it is) and the laundry/pingpong area smells of mildew. Opening doors helped!

Great place with a very central location, close to the airport and zoo. We really enjoyed our stay and the amenities offered at the home. Lacee was very responsive and accommodating.

This home was beautiful! Plenty of space for the seven of us for our girls' trip. Helen was an excellent host. She was very responsive to any questions we had. The property was well-stocked with towels and linen, and had a washer and dryer in case you needed to do laundry. The backyard is beautiful. Extremely flexible check-in/check-out options. I would definitely stay again.

This spot is so cozy and quiet. Very convenient for visiting SDSU and other local attractions. I also appreciated being able to park behind the gate in the driveway instead of street parking.

Randy’s place was fantastic. It was as described and depicted in photos. Randy was a great host. He was very accommodating and accessible. The place was comfortable and clean. The living space/kitchen/dining area was great for our group of 6 adults. The bedrooms and bathrooms were very comfortable and quiet. The location was amazing. One small block to the beach. The grocery store and coffee/bars are so close. We used the bikes, Prokadima and beach chairs. Such a great place for the price. Thank you Randy for sharing your place with us!

Marjorie and Dan’s home was vey nice, clean and bright. We felt very comfortable there. Hosts were very responsive and friendly. We would definitely stay there again.

Jaime’s house exceeded our expectations. The location was stunning and the house was spacious and had everything we needed. We are a family of five, and it was nice to be able to spread out, relax and enjoy a space that felt like home. We did not have a car but found the location was fairly close to most San Diego attractions. It is a short walk down to Old Town which has lots of eateries and the transit station, where you can catch the trolley and buses. We used Uber too. Jaime provided lots of great ideas for places to go and was friendly, prompt and easy to communicate with.

Evan was a great host very friendly, helpful, and proactive. He regularly checked in to make sure everything was okay, which we really appreciated. The place was clean, cozy, and had everything we needed. The description of the apartment and parking was clear and accurate, making everything smooth and easy. We truly felt at home and would absolutely book this place again. A solid 5 out of 5!

We stayed at Pete's place because it has a gorgeous pool (the pool slide was a huge hit), is close to Del Mar racetrack, and is close to the beach/ocean (you can see the ocean from the front yard). We took our two Bichons and felt safe and secure letting them out. We have family in San Diego and had a small family cook out on Sunday. The grill was awesome, and there are lots of fun things to do on the property, front and back yards. We didn't take advantage of the jacuzzi, but it was already heated up. Since the house doesn't have air conditioning, there were fans in the family room and bedroom. Large kitchen, so you can cook and bake if you don't want to eat out all the time. The house is single story, but outside there are lots of levels where you have to go up and down some single steps,so small children would need help and elderly or disabled folks may need help, too. Pete gave great directions about how to access the main entrance, and the self check-in security code.

Really enjoyed our stay. Great location for access to the beach and local restaurants and centrally located within a short drive to the heart of San Diego. Access to bikes a nice plus for rides along the beach. Unit was clean and comfortable, no complaints.

Don is a super responsive host. The location could not be any better, especially for the price point. The place is very basic however based on the location, I can understand why as there is a lot to do outdoors as you are a few steps away from the beach and everything else, shops, restaurants, amusement park and so much more. You are minutes away from the San Diego Zoo, Sea World, Old Town and the Gas Lamp District. This location is not only good for folks with children but also great for young adults as there is plenty of night life a short walk away. We are from Los Angeles, however we felt as though we were vacationing in another states hot spot. We truly enjoyed our stay and plan to return. Wish I knew before hand that people are living on property. Found out morning of check in. It was a bit weird in the morning and afternoon to have them right outside my window picking flowers. Kind of felt like I was being watched. Leah WAS FANTASTIC to work with. Very responsible and VERY KIND with a late Easter check out, which was incredibly helpful. Beautiful property, I wish we had more time to spend at property to really enjoy it. I would definitely stay again.
