This was by far my best Airbnb experience. Staying at Phuntsog's house in Stakmo felt like coming home—I couldn’t have wished for a better place. Phuntsog and his family are incredibly lovely and welcoming; I only wish I could have stayed longer. The area is perfect for unwinding and immersing yourself in nature, surrounded by nothing but mountains and stunning scenery. The food was also incredible—organic, vegetarian, and some of the most delicious meals I've ever had. I will definitely be back someday.

Tsezin, and all of the team at Jade House Ladakh, made our stay in Leh an incredible experience. The house was gorgeous, nestled in a lovely quiet area of the city, with beautiful fresh food (hygiene second to none) and all of the local (and best!) recommendations whenever we needed them! Would recommend Tsezin’s place at Jade House to anyone visiting Leh, if you’re after an experiential dive into Leh’s culture, whilst being steeped in comfort! Look forward to going back again some day :)

Even though we faced water and electricity outages during our trip, caused by heavy rain, Padma and her family provided water in buckets and still prepared breakfast and dinner for us. Padma also gave us recommendations and tipps what to eat and explore. Our stay gave us enlightening insight in the life of locals which we wouldn’t like to miss. The only downside was to use the bathroom during the night or early morning which is only reachable by taking the stairs outdoors.

Great stay - hosts were very kind and generous. The lake was walking distance, and we had the most amazing time star gazing at night.

I had a great stay at this place with my mom and sister. The pricing is reasonable, and the location is incredibly peaceful, offering breathtaking views. While it may seem a bit away from the market, it’s actually just a 10-minute drive, so you get the best of both worlds—serenity and convenience. That said, it’s important to set the right expectations before booking. Since this is Kashmir, some things might not align with typical expectations, but rest assured, the host and caretaker are exceptional. They were always available and went above and beyond to assist us at any hour. Overall, I highly recommend this place. I would stay here again without hesitation. The views, the tranquility, and the hospitality make it a fantastic choice—just keep an open mind about the regional differences, and you’ll have a wonderful experience.

Come here if you want to experience authentic Ladakhi rural lifestyle with a really kind and sincere family! As written in my last reviews, this is a gem in Phyang village. Below is a few extra highlights from my last stay: 1. Perfect location in beautiful Phyang village. Just a 15-minute walk to Phyang monastery. 2. You can enjoy the quiet and peaceful rural lifestyle without being too far from Leh where you can go to nice cafes, restaurants and do all your shopping. 3. You can observe a sustainable agricultural practices that contain tons of traditional Ladakhi wisdom, which the modern world needs to learn from. 4. The food is top-notch! Everyone in the family is superb cook! Ms. Sonam and Mrs. Rigzin will feed you with the best food on earth! 5. The room is modern and clean, with amenities comparable to a hotel room 6. For your information, the farmstay is 30 min from Leh market by taxi, which will cost you 600 rupees. There are also buses that will cost only 20 rupees one way.

Très bon séjour dans la maison familiale de Tsetan ! J'ai été invité à partager leur déjeuner en plus du dîner et du petit déjeuner. La cuisine de la mère de Tsetan est excellente ! La chambre est très simple mais calme et propre. La literie est correcte. La salle de bain est extérieure, partagée et rustique. Le Wifi ne peut pas être capté dans la chambre mais dans la pièce principale de la maison. Il fonctionne difficilement mais en l'absence de réseau téléphonique il est très utile. L'emplacement est très bon à quelques minutes à pied du temple et de vues magnifiques sur les montagnes environnantes. Tsetan a également été très sympathique et compréhensif suite à l'absence de mon ami malade et m'a remboursé sa part. Bilan : très bien, je recommande ce Airbnb !

I had an amazing stay. The accommodation was exactly as described and even exceeded my expectations. The space was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. Mr Tsewang and Nubu were incredibly hospitable and responsive, making sure that all my needs were met throughout my stay. The check-in process was smooth and hassle-free, and the location was perfect for exploring the area. I highly recommend staying here and would definitely book again in the future.

I feel very great for staying here. Wangmo is very sweet and helpful. She helps me everything I need in Leh. Her husband is also a good chef, the breakfast is very delicious. The room is very cozy with electricity and hot water. Recommend everyone to stay this nice guesthouse.

When we first stumbled upon this property on AirBnB, it seemed almost too good to be true. There must be a catch! But everything was as perfect as it seemed online. Tashi is the most thoughtful, gracious host. He provided us with all the information we needed and showed us around. The property is just perfect! The bed is comfortable, bathroom and terrace are excellent. Location is incredible. Tashi had excellent restaurant recommendations and was of great help. He also helped us arrange taxis and two wheelers for our daily commute at the best price.He went way beyond to make our long-weekend comfortable and memorable. Sonam and Padma will make you feel at home . The place is super clean and the hosts are extremely warm. Don’t miss out on amazing soups in the morning breakfast.

Amazing location. Travelled with 2 kids and the stay was very comfortable. Highly recommend if you are going to Chamba.
