excellent séjour chez José et sa famille, très sympathiques, avenants et souriants. le logement est décoré avec goût, les espaces communs sont accueillants. vila do bispo est une cité très paisible mais très bien située pour sillonner la côte et l arrière pays. il y a un super restau pizzeria à 3 pas de la maison, les magasins sont ouverts plutôt tardivement et il y a une super cuisine dans la maison.. merci José pour ta super hospitalité et la dégustation de liqueur d arbouses maison ;)

Nice view from our deck…stunning if you walk across the street. Easy walking distance to two delicious restaurants (February) Fair amount of steps to go up (~flights) if you have any mobility issues. Room was small but comfortable. Beds were comfortable. Enjoyed having the extra beds in the loft. Kitchen is quite small, but was able to make a couple delicious meals. (No breakfast during winter months) Just loved this location and town. All in all, would highly recommend.

My girlfriend and I stayed for a week, the room had a beautiful view of the sea and the pool. Monica and Artur took care of every detail, the incredible breakfasts, their recommendations, the privacy and any need we had, such as, for example, the use of their kitchen which we used without any problem. We had an incredible 5 nights in Bruno's home. Can't overstate the property and location. Sitting on an estuary between Lagos and Alvor, the views and setting from the deck are incredible. Amazing sunsets. Just down the road is a small beach and the water is perfect for wind sports etc. The house itself is extremely comfortable and the details are well thought out. You can truly relax in this setting. Very comfortable sheets and bedding. Olga and Ivan and their young son live on the property in a separate apartment beneath the main house. They are lovely, incredibly helpful and prepare a wonderful breakfast. We had an excellent holiday in Bruno's home and would highly recommend.

Airbnb Review for Guy and Carolyn Staying with Guy and Carolyn was an absolute delight! From the moment we arrived, they made us feel completely at home with their warm hospitality and great conversation. They had fantastic recommendations for food, which made our trip even more enjoyable. Their home is beautiful, with a spacious private bathroom that added to the comfort of our stay. The location couldn’t be better—just a short walk to the beach, making it the perfect spot for a relaxing getaway. One of the highlights was the delicious breakfast they provided, including Carolyn’s homemade orange marmalade, which was incredible! You can truly tell she has a passion for cooking. Everything is thoughtfully prepared for a comfortable and enjoyable visit. António is an excellent host, always available and welcoming. One of our favorite spots was the gorgeous terrace and the cozy living room. The surrounding area is breathtaking and offers great activities like horseback riding. A rental car is recommended to fully explore this stunning region. The staff was incredibly kind and attentive during breakfast, always making sure we had everything. The check-in and out process was hassle-free. The communication was excellent. Whenever we had a question, they responded immediately and were helpful in fulfilling our wish to change into one of the pool rooms. We originally planned to stay for a shorter time but ended up extending our stay because we loved it so much.A huge thank you to the entire team for creating such a warm and inviting atmosphere. Die Küche ist nur nutzbar, wenn man länger bleibt - also für Wanderer/Pilgerer: nicht einplanen! Es gab ein wirklich tolles Frühstück mit viel Auswahl! Alles sauber.

Endroit calme , très propre, comme annoncé dans le descriptif. Grand jardin avec piscine hors sol et terrain de jeu pour les enfants. Grande salle de bain, cuisine equipee. Nous reviendrons très certainement !

Avec nos enfants de 7 et 8 ans nous n’avons passé qu’une nuit et ça allait très bien. L’appartement et très bien, il n’y a eu qu’un petit problème qui nous a mis en retard… énervé sur le coup, mais en plus on a eu un petit déjeuner offert. Très appréciable ! Très bien pour faire une halte sur votre trajet.

This was a beautiful place to stay with such kind hosts. Everything was perfect, so clean, peaceful, we felt right at home. Highly recommend this place if visiting Lagos. We would love to come back again.

Eine wirklich besondere Unterkunft mit viel Charme& tollem Personal! Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt hier sehr genossen und haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt. Es gab ein leckeres Frühstück in ganz besonderer Atmosphäre. Wer Luxus & makellose Sauberkeit sucht wird hier definitiv nicht glücklich, da das Haus in die Jahre gekommen ist & dementsprechend etwas duftet und hier und da Spinnweben zu finden waren. Aber alles in allem eine Wirklich tolle Unterkunft in gemütlicher & familiärer Atmosphäre mit sehr sehr guten Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis!

Wir hatten eine sehr schöne Zeit, wir waren sogar 2 Mal dort, weil es uns dort so gut gefallen hat! Wir kommen gerne wieder. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Haus bietet viele Kurse und extra schöne Programme wie z. B. sunset Suptouren, Pizza Abend , Konzerte etc. vielen Dank!!!

El alojamiento es muy lindo y tiene todo lo necesario para una estancia agradable. Simao es muy amistoso y hace recomendaciones locales que son muy útiles. También, es el mejor desayuno que he tenido en todo mi viaje, Edith le pone mucho corazón

100% worth it. Yes, it's a bit out of the way but I couldn't recommend this place more. We stayed in Room #2 which I believe is the King adjacent to the pool. The decor was so well done. The breakfast is delicious and hospitality was amazing. We had an early bus ride back to Lisbon and Marlene packed us some snacks for our journey back which saved us a lot of trouble. Some small details that I don't think other people have mentioned, the water pressure is great in the shower and you won't have a problem with hot water. Simply a great experience here. If you're lucky, you'll get to see the horses across the field! Ubers are super cheap and they had no problem getting to this location. We rented a car for a day and had no problem parking. There was plenty of space and room for more. Couldn't recommend Marlene's place more and it was easily the best AirBNB experience we had in Portugal by far.
