A very nice and peaceful village in the heart of the Lagunas. At first we were planning to swing by for a night, in the end we decided to stay more than a week. Matalatala is at around 3hours bus drive from Manilla, very cheap trip, it's a very green village surrounded by wide fields with mountains in the distance. The vegetation is amazing, mangoes, bananas, coco-nuts and many other trees grow all around this peaceful village. Eva and her two kids Pauline and Cristian are adorable, well educated and with a fine sens of humour, we really felt at home. During the day we visited the surroundings often guided with Eva, at night we had dinner with them so we learned a lot of philippino life style, food, language, we also cooked a few meals for them, amazing exchange! Our room was big, clean, we had a private bathroom, the service was perfect! If you want to see an authentic spot far from all the main touristic circuits, this is a place where you can rest during your travel between plains, busses, boats. Daily life is very cheap. It's a very inspiring piece of nature, strongly recommended!

It’s really worth the price. Jayna was very hospitable. Breakfast is great! So many food choices. Amenities is much more than the usual you see from other places. Pillows, blankets and bed are comfy! Have enjoyed my stay!

Ate (the staff) was the most amazing thing in this place- she was very helpful and always went out of her way to assist us. The breakfast being included is great, the staff (ate) can really cook well. The only thing that I was hesitant about in this place are the cameras inside the house. I thought Airbnb houses are not allowed to have cameras inside the house. I would have been okay in the common area such as the dining room, living room but there's also a camera in one of the rooms that made us all uncomfortable.

The place is so good. Stayed here for 1 week, so accessible to places. I also enjoyed their coffee and bread every morning. Check in and check out is just to easy. Ate Hermie, and the rest of the caretakers are so accommodating. Room is cozy.

We had an amazing stay at Prime's tiny loft ! The space was so beautifully designed, cozy and had everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing getaway. The location was convenient, and the peaceful ambiance made it perfect for unwinding together. The host was also very accommodating and responsive ,ensuring a smooth and hassle-free experience. We truly enjoyed our stay and would love to comeback . Highly recommended !!

Nice place to get a quick R&R. Food was good although a bit pricey. There's already a complimentary breakfast included in the booking. We had no issues other than finding the actual place. Tip: Search "Lotuspod" directly instead of using the Waze/Google Map link in booking. Otherwise you'll be routed into a private farm. Haha.

This is my 3rd time staying with Ted's B&B and I always had a good experience with their service. The place is very quiet and comfortable, very perfect for relaxing and restarting. The food is also good and I was very happy that they are serving their food in the B&B (unlike before that you need to go to Ted's Kitchen to eat).

Jardin de luz is a huge open space where you can enjoy nature and just relax with your family… We stayed there for 2 nights, unfortunately it was raining every day. But we still got to enjoy swimming in the pool especially my kids, even though the water was cold. Rooms are spacious. each with its own toilet and bath. Our family of 10adults and 2 kids were comfortable in the house. Don’t forget to try the massage, it was our first since the pandemic and it felt very good and relaxing. This place is recommended especially during summertime. If you want privacy for your family and open spaces this is a place to go to in Luisiana.

Really appreciate that our request was accomodated. It made our stay really great. Just sad that we didnt get to bonfire because of the rain on our last night. Hope we can do this on our next visit. All the staff are so nice and made us feel welcome. I recommend this place if you want to relax, chill, breathe fresh air and get away from city noise. Food served is so delicious. Coffee is so good!
