We had a wonderful time staying at Terry and Kathy’s place! They were so friendly, welcoming, and accommodating. We came out for a DIY fishing trip and our whole experience exceeded our expectations. There is a two burner induction stove/vent in the kitchenette which was super helpful for preparing food. The fridge/freezer is a small residential unit and has plenty of space. We also enjoyed using the small charcoal grill and were able to easily get some charcoal at the AC in King Salmon. We enjoyed eating at the large outdoor table on the back deck. Our kids really enjoyed the swings on the play set and we felt totally comfortable with them playing outside. They also really appreciated the assortment of bikes provided for guest use! The view of the creek is so beautiful and the sunsets are incredible. We definitely hope to visit again and would recommended staying here to anyone! We sincerely appreciated the atmosphere here and meeting Terry and Kathy was such a sweet blessing!

Wow, hard to put into words what an incredible experience this was. Doug has spent a decade+ building a stunning lodge sitting on the beautiful lake clark - we felt so fortunate to be able to experience it. We stayed in the 2 bedroom in a group of 3 adults and 1 kid, and it was perfect for us. Doug was super responsive in communication and took care of everything. Picked us up from the airport in Port A, had all 3 meals each day prepared (+$), and organized some amazing tours for us (+$). It was amazing just realized by the water front, getting a fire going, fishing off the pier, and enjoying the sauna and hot tub. Doug and his family really make you feel at home and I can’t recommend this amazing place enough!

If you're up for some glamping, Menda's place fits the bill. The microwave, hot pot, and Keurig were great amenities. The lake view provided beautiful sunsets. Menda picked us up with our luggage when our plane came in and took us back when we left. In between she was ready to help whenever needed. We ate at the food truck twice (get a shake) and splurged one night at the lodge for dinner. Delicious! Port Alsworth is a very friendly community. Would recommend Menda's place.

Perfect stay for a fishing trip. Clean and just what you need.

Jacque and Dave made us feel right at home! They met us as we stepped off the airplane and we walked the very short distance to the Bunkhouse. What an amazing place! So modern and cozy - wow! There were plenty of breakfast foods in the fridge and cupboards. We talked many times with Jacque and Dave and learned of the great community of Port Alsworth. I already miss being there! Thank you so much for the hospitality and friendship you showered on us - we felt like honored guests!!
