We spend a lot of time in Costa Rica and this is the best value for money place we have found. It is spacious, in beautiful surroundings and the owners are very friendly and welcoming

Excelente lugar para pasar en familia, el lugar es precioso, justo como se ve en las fotos, súper tranquilo y seguro, definitivamente volveríamos! La piscina deliciosa y topamos con la suerte de ver el volcán despejado en la mañana!

Ese lugar fue uno de los mejores lugares amén los que me he hospedado con Airbnb no uno de los mejores el mejor todo el tiempo karla estaba pendiente de nosotros nos trató con un amor por no decir amabilidad porque fue con amor hacia todos nosotros su casa fue muy linda y tuvimos la posibilidad de ver tucanes y muchos colibríes de muchos colores y mi familia está super feliz 😊 gracias karla por hacerlo tan bien y tan agradable para nosotros el nivel se ve su calidad la precede salimos muy felices de su casa y gracias por las tortillas 🤤🤤🤤🤤

La maison était très propre & très agréable. Un petit peu éloigné de la ville La fortuna (à pied, ça me semble dangereux), mais du coup, on bénéficie d'un calme absolue. Marlène est très attentionnée et réactif.

Our experience at this property was excellent, and much of that can be attributed to the exceptional service provided by Joshua, the concierge. From the moment we arrived, Joshua greeted us warmly and provided a brief but informative tour of the house. He was consistently responsive and offered excellent recommendations for local attractions and dining options. The property itself was as described, well-maintained and comfortable. The shower had reliable hot water, the air conditioning unit functioned effectively, and the location was convenient, being only about 15 minutes from the center of La Fortuna. The only minor downside was the occasional appearance of a few insects at night but it was not problematic. Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend this home to anyone visiting the area.

Our stay was fantastic. Daniel and Adrian (+ their team) were super responsive and made our trip so easy. They helped schedule all of the activities we wanted to do and transportation to anywhere in Costa Rica. I have never experienced service like this from an AirBnB host. 10/10 is an understatement. The place was clean and fit what we were looking for. Walkable to downtown La Fortuna. Very friendly as well. Pura Vida!!!

Great place to stay, spacious, responsive hosts and walking distance to everything you need in Fortuna

We stayed 4 nights. The hosts were very nice and helpful! The place was very clean and had all we needed, and the bed was very confortable.

We loved Andrea’s apartment. It was spacious, very clean, beautifully decorated, modern, and bright. It had a plenty of hot water, comfortable beds, great AC. The washer and dryer were oversized and a real bonus. The coffee provided was delicious! Overall, we loved the place.

We had a great stay at Rebecca’s listing. The apartment is easy to access, very spacious and right in the city centre. We were able to walk to all restaurants and had a great view of the mountains. Since you are right on the main road the apartment is very loud but Rebecca did mention that in the listing, it didn’t bother us much. We enjoyed our stay.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Studio Maracuya. The picture windows and terrace gave us ample opportunities to watch birds and wildlife and enjoy the view . We got quite a show from the capuchin monkeys! The place was very comfortable too. You could hear people in the neighboring rental, but fortunately they were not loud. We missed the entrance gate originally, but it does look just like the pictures provided. It was easy to walk to town to eat and convenient for the activities we did. I would stay here again.

Yesenia was an awesome host. The house was a little hard to find but Yesenia sent pictures and instructions before we got there. We was waiting for us when we arrived. She told us to just park out front! The unit was located in the back and upstairs just as everyone has described. Very clean, private, and had everything we needed. We had our own balcony patio with a table and some chairs to sit and view the beautiful mountains. It was usually very cool when the wind blew. Very walkable to downtown and restaurants. Also very close drive the to the two cloud forest reserves, as well as the other less k own ones. Overall a great place and location. Yesenia did not speak much English but she communicated try well. And if needed, her son translated via the phone. It was great staying with Yesenia. We felt like we belonged there and it’s great to support the local people. They are very nice and hard working. See you next time we are in Santa Elena/Monteverde Yesenia. Pura vida!

I walk everywhere with staying at Rocio’s place. The location is in center of every restaurant which is very convenient. The apartment itself is also nice and clean, and beautifully decorated. There is even pretty safe space for me to store my luggage which is super considerate! Very nice choice of staying in La Fortuna:)

Wonderful stay! Very cozy and secluded, we got to see white faced monkeys right outside our door! Always responsive to messages and gave nice local recommendations. Super close to the cloud forest reserve as well as cafes and grocery store. Would stay again! Just a note for future travellers, as we did not know of these rules when we booked, but they asked only for one load of laundry if staying 3 nights or less. One of the main reasons we chose this place was for the in unit laundry as while we were only staying 3 nights in this particular place, it was the middle of our 2 week trip so we wanted to do washing at this point!

Where can I start....This is my first time to La Fortuna and we had a great vacation with the help of Gregory. Gregory's is a great host and his property is one of a kind which suits well for La Fortuna environment with lot of nature to enjoy inside his property. He helped in almost everything including recommending a nice Chef Gabriel.

I had a one day stop over while visiting Arenal and la fortuna waterfall. Christian went out of his way to ensure I was greeted properly and the views from the room were amazing. the cost is very fair for the location and view and nice pool to wake up and have a dip into. I will definitely come back and give recommendation to all that this is worth every penny! thanks to Christian and his wife for sharing your space

Her får en mye for pengene. Leiligheten vi bodde i var fin. Den lå fredelig til. Ingen støy. Samtidig en kort spasertur til sentrum. En god restaurant like ved. Området hadde god trygg parkering. Jeg vil definitivt anbefale dette stedet. Jeg kommer gjerne tilbake. Det beste stedet jeg har bodd på i La Fortuna. Kan anbefales. Aircondition og velutstyrt kjøkken. Sengene var gode. Sofaen og tv var upåklagelig. Vi hadde det helt supert. Tusen takk for oss.

WOW!!! Beautiful property!! From the moment you step inside the gate you are greeted with the soothing sound of the waterfalls going into the pool and the very well manicured gardens of flowers and plants all throughout! Jason’s place is truly unique!! Very safe with locking gates accessible with numeric codes, and individual locking doors on each cabin. Convenience store RIGHT next door. Less than 5 minute walk to a nice, affordable grocery. Also many good restaurants, gift shops, coffee shops, ice cream/gelato, art galleries and tour operators all within a 10 minute walk. And the view of Arenal Volcano is impossible to miss as it is SO close!! I stayed in cabin #6 which is VERY spacious, very clean and private. Nice HOT shower and a laundry room with plenty of space for drying wet clothes. If you are looking for a place in La Fortuna you MUST check into one of Jason’s properties at Cabinas Colibrí!!! 5 PLUS stars!!⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

We had a wonderful stay at Sol y Luna in La Fortuna. The accommodations are charming just as pictured and we were happy to have this little oasis to come back to every night. We were contacted by Susana to have a new stove installed one morning, unfortunately the timing didn't work for us. The hosts respected our privacy and I presume the stove was installed after we checked out. Thank you for sharing a little piece of paradise with us.
