Great place to stay for a weekend retreat! Very secluded and peaceful with this property being in a great location within a small gated neighborhood right on the water. The host was great - Highly recommend if you're looking for a place to stay

Terri has an awesome set up here. Doesn’t matter if you’re fishing or just needing a place to stay, this is the rental for you. It has an awesome boat/fisherman setup. It includes covered boat parking with pull down extension cords, steps to get in your boat, and plenty of parking. The inside is amazing as well. Plenty of top notch recliners to relax in after fishing all day. And the best part was having 6 separate beds! We will definitely be back and would highly, highly recommend Terri’s place to anyone!

Loved staying here for our week of fishing on Lake Fork. Easy drive to the boat ramp and the house and neighborhood are beautiful. Great hosts, responded quickly when messaged. Will definitely keep this place in mind for our next trip.

We came here for a couple nights while on a family trip. Overall, we definitely enjoyed ourselves. If you want to see the lake you have to walk or drive at least a quarter mile which isn’t bad. As far as cleanliness is concerned, the house could stand a good cleaning. It wasn’t very clean but we still had a great stay and enjoyed ourselves. The yard wasnt kept up but someone came and mowed it while we were gone one day. Overall, a really cute little place to stay.

Super stay! Peaceful, quiet, country setting. Clean and comfy inside with all the lil extras. Animals in the yard are friendly and will greet you. My wife and I only stayed one night but it was just what we needed for a break from the road. Highly recommend.

We love it!. We were 4 adults and 2 kids, we felt very comfortable, Alexandra's place is beautiful, it's just like the pictures. It has a lot of amenities, the front view lake that we felt in love, with the deck for our morning coffee, the kayaks, the grill, the full equipped kitchen, toys to entertain my kiddos, the nature sorroundings and we really like that it feels private. Alexandra was responsive and helpful, a great host. We would definitely stay here in the future if we are in the area.

Kirk’s place is exactly as described. We went during a cold snap and it was very comfortable. The fireplace made it very inviting. The host is very responsive, even before booking. It is good to note that the home is also good if you have any wheelchair guests with you. The kitchen is also very well equipped, we had everything we needed. The view of the lake is peaceful. Perfect for birdwatching during the day and stargazing at night. I can imagine it would be beautiful during spring and summer.

Scott provided a great experience for my family of four. The house had everything that we needed. It was our first experience in a tiny home, and Scott did a great job on maximizing the space with all of the necessities. The dock was a plus, since our main goal was to fish. We got bass while we were out there and really enjoyed our time out there. The neighborhood leading up to his place wasn’t the greatest, but once you reach his house, it has a beautiful view of the lake. His properties are well kept. Scott was very attentive when we reached out to him, responding well within 10 minutes. I will definitely be a returning guest if I choose to come back out this way.

This place was great!! Check in was very easy. It was clean and the upstairs loft was perfect for our two boys! They had so much fun playing the Xbox! The lake was beautiful at sunset, and my husband was able to dock his boat without any problems. The linens on the bed were so cozy!!! We will be back!!

We had a great time at the Quail cabin. We got there late and it was very dark so it was a little hard to find (but to be fair, I don’t do well with directions). My fiancé and I had a great time reconnecting with each other and disconnecting from the busy city. We hope to come back again one day. The owners were great and super responsive. The cabin was private and surrounded by trees. We absolutely loved our time together in the cabin.

We came down for the eclipse and the setting was perfect! So peaceful and private with lots of trees, birds, and outside space. The house has lots of windows so it allows for views all around and lots of light. With four bedrooms, there was plenty of sleeping space. The kitchen was great as it had lots of counter space, new appliances and a full size refrigerator. LaSunya was so kind to provide bottled water, a bag of ice, coffee pods for the Keurig, a basket of toiletries for any items forgotten, and a welcome bottle of wine. She was very quick to answer any questions and provided a list of restaurants in the area. We enjoyed our stay very much.

The area was beautiful! She is very sweet and helpful. Our stay was pleasant for what we needed. Would love to stay again when we are in the area.

We rented the farmhouse at Folktale Venue for our daughter's bridal party, and the overall venue for the wedding next day. The farmhouse was absolutely ideal! Lauren worked out ALL the details for the ladies to sleepover after the rehearsal dinner, set up the bridal suite for the morning hair/makeup/dressing, and the team did an efficient conversion of the second room to a groom's suite for the guys. Because the kitchen and parlor were in use for the wedding prep, Lauren provided the ladies with breakfast mimosas and snacks in the bridal suite. Even with all the typical wedding commotion, the house seemed to stay very organized, and perfect. Lauren also worked with us on maintaining the couple's "no first look" wishes, and helped us scope out the perfect locations and timing for some of our requested inside photos. Could not have been better! Will keep Folktale in mind for future family reunion stays!

The home was very nice, comfortable, and had everything we needed for a relaxing weekend trip. We spent most of our time at the boathouse and on the lake; fishing, kayaking, and renting a boat for a day. The setting was relaxing, peaceful and we’re looking forward to coming back during the summer!
