Had a fantastic stay at Sandy’s place! Very clean and quiet. Even though there were other guests in the house, it still felt very private with the individual door lock on the bedroom. Its close location to downtown made it a nice central point for local attractions and shopping. I definitely plan on staying again when I’m in the area.

This was our second year at Shady Shores and as always it didn't disappoint. We had a great time!

This place was great for our needs! Very clean, quiet, and relaxing. Water was up so it was nice to sit out and enjoy the view of the water. Would definitely recommend a stay here. The host was very responsive and helped out with everything! Even answered a few questions before we asked.

A great stay of you like quaint farmhouses. It’s beautiful and comfortable. It did get pretty chilly in the house (58) and couldn’t figure out how to turn the temp up but it wasn’t that chilly for long.

Very accommodating when I told him we wouldn’t be able to arrive until 10-11 p.m. He even sent us a picture of the gate. The Creekside Cottage was beautiful and in an area that was peaceful, yet only a few minutes from Brownwood where there were restaurants and other businesses. We watched the deer, cows and horse from the living area of the house. Robert was a terrific host that took care of us from the time we reserved until check out. We hope to return when it’s warmer and everything turns green.

Place was great. Only things I would say is that the one bathroom and shower have only a little over 6’ of headroom(a little strange for such a nice place) so taller people will have to use the main bathroom and shower. I am 6’2” and I had to duck in that bathroom and shower. Be prepared to go down a few miles of dusty roads to get to the place. Once you get there everything else is very comfy with plenty of room for everyone to spread out and enjoy!

Our family had an amazing stay at Christine’s home in Brownwood! From the moment we arrived, Christine was incredibly sweet and welcoming, ensuring we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The home was spotless, well-stocked, and had such a cozy atmosphere that made us feel right at home. One of our favorite parts was the wonderful deck, where we enjoyed sitting outside to visit and take in the peaceful surroundings. It was the perfect spot to relax and unwind! Christine went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable, and her hospitality truly made our trip even more enjoyable. If you’re looking for a peaceful, well-kept place with a fantastic host, this is it! We can’t recommend this Airbnb enough and would absolutely stay here again. Thank you, Christine, for a wonderful experience!

Great place right on the water at Lake Brownwood. Spacious and comfortable accommodations. Great place for a family get together!

Beautiful place, would definitely stay again. And the host communicated well the expectations. With the recent rain Brownwood had, they let us know the boat dock was still usable, but some of the path to the dock had standing water to walk through. They were more than willing to reschedule our stay if it wasn't going to meet our expectations.
