We stayed for 2 nights with our dog, the bubble dome was amazing to stay in, there are 2 heaters for when the sun goes down and it cools off, but it was pretty warm just from the sun even though it was 40 degrees out. The one is beautiful and full of wildlife around, loons, swans, ducks and some mink were running around. The hot tub was great to spend time in too! Jeff is a great host and very responsive and helpful with suggestions for food in the area! We ate at Oaky’s Tavern and had great food there. Would defiantly stay again! There were many heaters in the home to keep rooms warm too. This was a very unique place to stay in the best way possible!

Stylish house on a beautiful lot close to Lake Leelanau. The interior and exterior design are outstanding, the outdoor sitting and BBQ area are fantastic, the views are amazing, the house is tranquil and gives you peace of mind. Amazing place to relax, go for activities, enjoy the outdoors and spend quality time. Sean was proactive and responsive in communication. We felt right at home and would always come back.

This was an incredible experience. Brenden helped me out when I was in a panic about where to stay after a previous reservation had fallen through. Very easy to communicate with and was very accommodating. The property was beautiful and house was clean. Garage was spacious and rooms were perfect for guests we had. The only bummer was the rain all weekend to not enjoy the outdoors/lake but the company was good! Would highly recommend not only this property but Brenden as a host!

Great place to stay for larger groups. wasn't riding this trip but trails are right there.

Spent the weekend here for my wife's birthday with some friends. Great location for winery tours/local food, and everything you would need inside and out. Roger is a very responsive host and willing to do whatever it takes to make your stay as welcoming as possible. Plenty of room inside the house for sleeping for 3 adult couples, could've even fit a 4th no problem in the loft. Home was spacious and the screened in porch is a great hangout spot overlooking the lake.

Jason, was very flexible on the check-in which was very helpful as we were meeting other family here and the weather was not great. The home was roomy, cozy and comfortable. The kids very much enjoyed the air hockey and foozball tables! Thank you so much for an enjoyable stay!

Everything was exactly as described, easy to find with clear instructions to get in, and perfectly dog friendly! Flat sheets were even provided to cover the furniture for our pup so all of us felt right at home. The fenced in backyard and where the hot tub was placed were the best part for us. Our dog was able to zoom around while we relaxed in the hot tub. The motion sensored lights allowed us to always see where she was and we felt safe knowing the property was securely fenced in for her to enjoy. We will definitely be back. Thank you Amanda!

Not only was this peaceful gem just like the listing. BUT the record collection and books are AWESOME!!!! The pet friendly fenced in back yard was spacious and well lit for our Great Dane puppy to run a frolic to her little hearts content. Cant build build a fire?(even though there was ample wood supplied)?? There’s a gas table top fire.. don’t feel like going out??? I made a homemade breakfast pizza and had all the cooking utensils I needed… I felt soo at home and at peace. And enjoyed a trip to Petosky and POND HILL FARM and the tunnel of trees. I JUST need to know one thing??? How much is rent, and when can I move in??

Mathew’s place was wonderful and it was so close to the lifts… we loved his cozy slope side chalet! We will definitely book again in the future!

Great place for the family. Plenty of things to do at the house. Also not too far from Traverse City or Boyne Mountain. Would definitely stay here again!!

We have stayed at Timber Valley multiple times as a family and it is always a yearly highlight getaway for us. Kristi's place is very cozy and inviting especially being surrounded by the woods and nature. The house is the perfect size for our family of six and we have even had additional family stay with is in the past with more than enough room to accommodate our needs. Kristi is always responsive and helpful with any questions or concerns that come up. You can't go wrong with a stay at Timber Valley!

Sunset Glory has been our "go-to" ski weekend rental for years! We Love the apartment and being right in town and so close to the Highlands!

My 4 kids, husband and I have been coming to Shanty creek resorts for over 10 years. This is the first time we stayed somewhere other than the resort hotels. We enjoyed we were able to bring our dog on this trip, we had a kitchenette, and we did more in the area because we had to drive ourselves. This gave us a chance to explore and save more money. By staying in a place more reasonable than the hotel and we were able to cook ourselves and didn't have the added expense of a dog sitter. 4girls sharing one bathroom worked out better than I thought. Very quiet neighborhood, close to Hansen Hills for skiing, close enough to town to make access to restaurants and shops easy. Comfortable space, nice to have decent knives, pots and pans. Very roomy!

Had a great stay at Cory's. Very private and quiet area but close to a great coffee shop, brewery, restaurant, and ice cream shop in Lake Ann. The "water closets" were unique, but they were needed so we didn't all have to fight for the main bath room and shower, which are dated but work fine. There was plenty of space for 5 of us and a dog. Cory was sure to have the box fan and screen in the 3rd bedroom for us which we definitely needed with no air-conditioning in the bedrooms. We would stay here again.

Stayed here with some friends for a few days. This cabin was absolutely beautiful. Carefully curated and designed, yet clean and peaceful. Used the fire pit outside every night! Probably worth noting that there is only one shower, but it wasn’t a problem for us. The team was super helpful and had everything ready to go. The kitchen is fully stocked with all the utensils and tools you could need. We adventured out most of the time, but we definitely could’ve spent a whole day just hanging out there.

The house was in a great location, walkable to Suttons bay but out of the mix as well. We loved the private beach and views from the living room. Communication with fast and easy. Worth it to note that there is only one AC. They did have a bunch of large fans, we just hit a hot week there sleeping wise.

We could not have asked for a better location and accommodations for 4 adults and 2 children on our first family vacation. The house is located just off the road on a peaceful and quiet very large lot. The bedding was so comfortable making for very restful nights. We had easy access to multiple beaches, restaurants playgrounds and wineries. When we chose to buy local fish and cook at home we found the kitchen well apportioned and stocked. I can’t say enough wonderful things about this little piece of heaven in Leland. PS: we enjoyed our daily visit with her chickens and she was generous to share the most delicious eggs. We were spoiled by everything this place has to offer.

We absolutely loved our stay at the Peace Retreat. The location could not have been better, with Lake Michigan just a walk away, and the beautiful trails for easy walking behind the property. We loved the yard set up, with a campfire ready for us to enjoy, the hammocks, and little paths to enjoy the property. We loved all the extra blankets and quirky furnishings inside the home, and it was perfect for us to enjoy a mother daughter weekend.

House was great, but the website used to complete checkin was a bit cumbersome and the photo advertising of the sauna is a bit misleading. There is no sauna on the premises. Other than that, it was a great experience!
