We enjoyed our stay at the lake. This has been our practice for the last 6 years to go to the lake after the holiday rush. The cabin was lovely, clean, well stocked and we enjoyed sitting on the porch looking at the lake

It was a quiet place. The place we stayed at was great. The area resort is quite dated and in need of updating.

Wow! Felt like being at a friend’s house. So well maintained, decorated nicely, with quality furnishings, linens, bedding, and kitchen supplies. Beautiful surroundings walking the neighborhood, using the hot tub, and sitting in the Adirondacks down by the water in the mornings with a cup of coffee. It was the perfect spot for relaxing ladies weekend.

Love this place! Very cozy, relaxing little house. Tastefully decorated, the host clearly has an eye for interiors! It was perfect for my short trip to Gainesville for a training. I would definitely stay here again if I end up back in the area!

Kristina and Beth, who managed the property, were the kindest and most pleasant hosts. They made us feel right at home and let us wander around the property anytime we liked. The horses, cows, chickens, and especially the dogs, were so much fun. We could interact with them as little or as much as we preferred. The cottage was well equipped and very clean. We had a fabulous time! It was a great peaceful getaway and we can't wait to come back! One of our favorite Airbnb stays ever!

This was our second stay this year so this time it was like coming home to the lake. We fished off the dock, grilled and enjoyed the fire pit. The kitchen is well supplied with everything you could possibly need for cooking and grilling. I’m a walker and feel perfectly safe walking the neighborhood by myself (my husband is the griller, not a walker!). We had dinner at the Yearling our first night there to celebrate our anniversary! We can’t wait to go back! So grateful to have this beautiful home away from home to enjoy peace, tranquility and serenity.

A wonderful place to stay while we visited local sites such as Devil’s Den Spring & Cedar Lakes Woods & Gardens

We enjoyed 4 nights in the cabin. The location is great for accessing kayak trips. The property is lovely with tons of trees and even some deer. It is secluded but not isolated. The cabin is simple and comfortable. We found ourselves gazing at the big house, thinking why didn’t we rent that?! Gerardo communicated well and was responsive. We did all of our cooking there and managed to make it work. This is a great spot for families since it has 2 places for rent, a nice outdoor area, and great access to springs.

What a wonderful place. We just regret we did not have more time or days to spend. We would certainly love to return to this peaceful farm. Gracious host, and the children absolutely loved it.

We had a great stay loved the walkability and Joann was super responsive when we contacted her. Will definitely stay there again.

Julia was incredible!! We book last minute to get away from a coming hurricane. She kindly allowed us to check in early and gave us a discounted rate. While she was dealing with her own hurricane preparations she quickly responded to every request and went above and beyond. Her place was beautiful and we can't wait to visit again when the weather is better!!

This is a gorgeous spot on the Suwannee River. Incredibly peaceful, you’ll actually be able to encounter silence and rest. Beautiful view of the stars at night, and sunset over the trees from your porch overlooking the river. Inside the house you have two nice bedrooms with a bathroom in between, and a very cozy kitchen and living room. To top it off, the hosts are very responsive and kind - they offered immediate help when I struggled getting in the home at check- in! Would definitely stay again.

Pictures do not do this beauty place justice. The house was so charming and all amenities we need plus more. The sunset O WOW... We were very please with everything. I absolutely loved waking up and having my coffee on the backroom and listening to the birds and nature so relaxing.

Hideaway House was in the perfect location for our birdwatching plans. It is beautiful and very comfortable and provided everything we needed. It was unfortunately too chilly to make full use of the front porch and back deck, but in warmer weather both would have been perfect to just sit and relax. We loved Micanopy and Ocala and enjoyed the beautiful nature all around. Thank you very much Stephanie & JB.

Great location. The house is beautiful on the inside. The outside is absolutely gorgeous. pics are beautiful but in person is just amazing. My only complaint it I had to leave.lol Will stay again..
