We’ve stayed at several places in this community over the years and this was definitely the best! Place was clean, the appliances were updated, and you can’t beat the proximity to the pool/clubhouse and the Lake views. Will definitely book again here.

The family and I enjoyed our stay at The Poolside Cottage. There were plenty of amenities for the entire family to indulge in. Andrew and Melody made their home feel like “home away from home”. I definitely recommend 10/10.

The location was fantastic; when we got there, it even looked better in person. It had all the necessities and was a fairly roomy cabin/camper. A huge advantage was the patio and grill. We would definitely return; it's a nice pace for a quick getaway.

Beautiful house lovely house, responsive, helpful

A perfect place for rest, quiet, sunshine, slower pace of life. My wife and I bicycle, the roads in the area are great for cycling- negligible traffic, respectful drivers. This cottage is close to the road for getting into town, it was perfect for cycling. There really is no ocean beach in Steinhatchee, the closest one is 17 miles up. There is kayaking on the river. Steinhatchee was hit hard by the last hurricane, not many stores/restaurants had fully recovered, but all were trying heroically. It's a fishing village and its main tourist season is in summer for scalloping. We were there in April so it was very quiet. The nearest bigger grocery store is 20-30 min away, so plan accordingly. There are smaller stores in town for quick items. The cottage is clean, it's cozy, and very comfortable. Jessica was excellent with questions, very quick to respond, and had good advice. We enjoyed our stay in the Big Bend area of Florida very much. Thank you for sharing your cottage, Jessica.

One of the better Airbnb's my family and I have stayed in, definitely need to read the directions to get there first but once you know it, it's easy to come and go. With some carriers you'll have no signal and there is no internet there, but if you don't mind that it's a great experience. From the house it's about 15 mins to Folkston, 30 mins to Callahan, 1 hr to central Jacksonville, and 10 mins to the Okefenokee swamp entrance, you can book kayaking, boat, and tours in advance. Great place for an semi-isolated family stay.

As a horse person - I figured I would really enjoy staying at a horse farm. Some may think a horse farm cottage would be too rustic or smell like horses… not this place! Absolutely gorgeous interior design with everything that I would need for my stay. Very clean & comfy! The kitchen is nicer than the one I have in my house and I was really sad that I had to leave. The views of the horses in their paddocks really added to my love for this property. I whole heartedly recommend this cottage for horse & non-horse lovers 😊😊😊

1885 Inn and Cottage. Beautifully maintained. Cindy was a delightful host. A trip back in time, to a genteel era.

Kristina and Beth, who managed the property, were the kindest and most pleasant hosts. They made us feel right at home and let us wander around the property anytime we liked. The horses, cows, chickens, and especially the dogs, were so much fun. We could interact with them as little or as much as we preferred. The cottage was well equipped and very clean. We had a fabulous time! It was a great peaceful getaway and we can't wait to come back! One of our favorite Airbnb stays ever!

I can't say enough positive things about this gorgeous place on Star Lake. It was exactly as described. There were clear directions before and during our stay. The host was very responsive. It is well-supplied and very comfortable. The furniture is gorgeous. We felt right at home. Hearing the sounds of birds and listening to the windchimes out on the screened in area on the dock was so relaxing. We really enjoyed being on this beautiful, quiet lake away from the hustle and bustle of our life. The colors at sunrise and sunset were magical. Despite being in such a serene location, it is only 30 min to Gainesville's restaurants and shopping and it is 30-60 min to many nature destinations. There is a very helpful notebook with the host's suggestions provided. My husband and I recommend this property without hesitation.

We really enjoyed Ken and Marylee’s cottage, very cozy with comfortable beds and plenty of pillows and towels. The cottage is bigger than I expected. The location is excellent, private and only 12 min drive to Devils Den. The hosts were very sweet to let us check out late and even had continental breakfast waiting for us in the fridge. Great experience, would love to come back.

I had an amazing stay at this beautiful cottage tucked away on peaceful acreage. The surroundings were serene and relaxing—perfect for a quiet getaway. The cottage itself was spotless, thoughtfully decorated, and had everything I needed for a comfortable stay. I especially loved waking up to the sounds of nature and enjoying my morning coffee on the porch. The host was incredibly nice and very responsive, which made the whole experience even better. Highly recommend this gem if you’re looking for a tranquil escape near the springs!

We didn’t really have time to do all the stuff around the farm. We wanted to do two events, but the house was super nice and accommodating. We were there for an archery tournament so every day was a run run run and this was a good place to come to at the end of the day and relax. It was quiet and secluded and we had a good time there.

My parents loved their stay at Joann’s place. It was a comfortable and very clean place for them to stay while they visited us. Joann was a wonderful host, very responsive and generous and understanding when a problem arose.

Julia was incredible!! We book last minute to get away from a coming hurricane. She kindly allowed us to check in early and gave us a discounted rate. While she was dealing with her own hurricane preparations she quickly responded to every request and went above and beyond. Her place was beautiful and we can't wait to visit again when the weather is better!!

We had an amazing stay at this beautiful Airbnb! The house is stunning and very peaceful, making it the perfect getaway. My family and I absolutely loved all the games available, it was a great touch and kept us entertained throughout our stay. The grill worked perfectly, and we made use of it every day. The home is beautifully decorated, and the surrounding nature is breathtaking. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a relaxing and enjoyable stay!

This Is a great place that has amazing lake views and is very peaceful. This was a much needed quiet vacation that helped me unwind and next time I am going to try fishing , thank you so much for sharing your home.

Stayed here for 3 nights while we in the area. Super cute very clean modern updated interior. Kitchen is good size with everything you might need. Easy TV to stream all the apps. Very nice big back porch with peaceful view of huge trees. Across the street are horses in fields and that is great too. 10 minutes to Silver Springs, 20 minutes from cute downtown Ocala with lots of restaurants, 30 minutes to Gainesville. Would definitely recommend!

Great location. The house is beautiful on the inside. The outside is absolutely gorgeous. pics are beautiful but in person is just amazing. My only complaint it I had to leave.lol Will stay again..
