Christine’s place was the perfect get-away for a family vacation close to home. The lake was beautiful and the place was spotless and inviting. It felt like you walked in to your own home. It’s close to places to eat and there is even a community space just a few houses down that is lively if the weather is nice. I’m hoping to come back again!

This was our second visit to Amanda’s and just like the first time, it left my boys with fun memories. We will be back next summer.

Every year we visit Cypress there are more improves and amenities. Always a great stay and so much to do. Amanda and her team run this place like a well oiled machine. We visit once in the winter and once or twice in the summer. A favorite for sure.

Amanda is the best host I’ve ever had, she is so friendly and responsive. Her kitchen was fully equipped, she gave us the option of having firewood delivered, the place is absolutely beautiful, you walk down some stairs to get to the beach. A group of 8 moms went there for a weekend getaway and it was exactly what we needed. Thank you!

We had such a lovely stay! It felt like a home and was very cozy she even left fuzzy robes on the bed that added to the cozy fall vibes! The hot tub was clean and private and the unit had a beautiful view! Everything together made for the perfect relaxing get away!

Stephen was a welcoming host and the cabin was exactly as described. The location is secluded and quiet, but you’re also close to groceries, restaurants and fun antique stores. Kitchen is well stocked for cooking meals, and the fireplace is cozy and perfect for relaxing. Even with snow on the ground we enjoyed strolling around the property down to the lake. A wonderful stay, we’d love to visit again.

Perfect place for us , very nice staff and accommodating. we love this spot would love to come back. we are from Panama City Florida visiting my son. Both manager and owner very sweet we had a great time.

This place is perfect for big parties. Beautiful and clean location with tons of space for 10+ people. Nice fire pit in the backyard and the host is amazing. There were a few kitchen utensils missing due to the last renters not returning things where they belong and a phone call to the host was made and he delivered brand new utensils within an hour. This place and owner really make you feel at home!

We visited during the holidays and missed having our tree & decorations. We were so surprised when we entered that there was a small tree with lights, greenery on the mantle & other festive holiday decorations throughout the apartment- so appreciated! The unit is so convenient to the village of Lake Bluff & other restaurants, stores, and fitness centers. The month of January was particularly cold this year so having the garage available was a plus! Hope to be back later this spring!

Michelle, Wow, where do I start? She was incredible in every sense of the word. she helped me from the very beginning throughout every step of the way, even after I checked out. She gave great tips on what to do in the area. She gave precise instructions on how to get in to the house easily. I had originally planned to check in right around 6pm, but my flights had been canceled. I ended up getting in around 4:30/5am in the dark and was still able to get inside easily. I wish I had more time to enjoy the location like the lake, kayaking, canoeing, fire pit, deck, etc. if I ever come back and stay in the area I'm definitely renting from Michelle again! She's the most thoughtful host I've ever had in my time using Airbnb. Thank you so much Michelle! You're the absolute best and I appreciate you more than these feeble words can express!!

Cherri’s home was the perfect place to stay while visiting for my son’s Navy graduation. From the moment we arrived, the warm and welcoming environment made us feel right at home. It was such a comfort to be able to cook a few homemade meals for my son, providing him with a safe and cozy haven that reminded us of being back in Florida. Given the extremely cold and windy weather during our visit, the home’s thoughtful amenities were a blessing. There were plenty of warm blankets, a fireplace, and even heated blankets to keep us comfortable. My favorite feature was the outdoor bedroom—despite the chill, it was incredibly cozy with multiple layers of heat provided. During the day, it became my peaceful retreat, offering a perfect spot to relax and enjoy the tranquility of nature. Cherri’s home truly exceeded our expectations, and we can’t wait to stay here again in the future, whether for another special occasion or just a visit to the area.

Emily's Apartment is a jewel. This basement studio is perfect for the weekend stay or business traveler. The kitchen is sufficient for meals and includes a gas oven. The bathroom is cute with great water pressure. The space is large enough to feel comfortable and you even have access to a washer and dryer unit. The bed is comfortable and is situated in a little nook in the back of the space. The sofa is comfy and the TVs have all the apps. The owner went above and beyond to make sure my stay was great. It was a pleasure to work with Emily. She is proactive and attentive. The neighborhood felt safe and there are any restaurants and grocery stores you could possibly need within 10mins. I highly recommend this apartment to singles, couples for weekend visits or business trips.
