We were in town for Thanksgiving visiting family with our dogs for 4 nights. Communication with host was great. The house was very clean, well furnished (we cooked the Thanksgiving meal there), recently renovated kitchen (huge kitchen island) with high end appliances, and yes there are 6 bedrooms (some small but nice). Rooms are split between three floors so everyone had room/privacy. Backyard with pool was great, lots of space for dogs, everything is fenced in but the front which was not a problem as the house is on a dead-end street with very little traffic. This is definitely a superhost home, all your condiments, lots of nice touches and snacks/gifts. We will definitely stay there again on our next visit to family in Chicago. House is locate between 41 and 94 making travel around Chicago easy.

Absolutely Loved our stay!! There aren't enough good things to say about the view, location & beautiful house. So fun! There's a pool table, air hockey & 2 free standing video games. Spent every sunset in the Lakeview room😍 Just gorgeous beyond words! Did i mention the Bald Eagle that hangs out in the tree right outside the Lakeview bedroom? Incredible! the lake doesn't freeze over in one spot in front of the lakeview window, saw all the big birds of prey hunt. It was definitely wildlife at its finest. The owners are Very responsive & told us to be on the look out for the eagle! Fantastic time! Loved Loved Loved it & already reserved for our Wedding weekend❤️

We had an incredible time at Mark’s place! The photos definitely matched the actual house and from the moment you walk in you feel right at home. Mark had provided all of the mentioned amenities and then some, and provided personal touches and local recommendations. We visited in the off season, and are hopeful to return in the summer to take more advantage of the outdoor activities around. Definitely recommend!!

We enjoyed Tawny's home. I am very picky about cleanliness and feel uncomfortable in an Airbnb with unkept bathrooms...we all have seen it. This place was spotless. The beds were comfortable & linens were clean and cozy. And the showers and bathrooms had no "yuck" in the cracks and crevices! The home is very spacious and comfortable. The gym was nice. We did not use outside amenities or the very nice porch, the weather just wasn't accommodating. We were there to just hang out and relax. The house is very close to all services and stores. Dining is close whether going out or delivery. The home has everything you need, it is cozy, spacious, has a very well kept & equipped kitchen; and again, it is CLEAN! One suggestion, maybe a pullout wall mirror in a bathroom. For up close makeup application so don't have to lean over sink, for short people like me. I would say overall, this was one of the cleanest Airbnb I have rented. Was a wonderful stay & Def. Would Recommend for any occasion!

This is beyond 5 stars! The home is very clean, comfortable, and spacious for a group. The Naval base is no more than a 15-minute drive and the train station to go into downtown Chicago is only a 10-minute drive. (The train ride to Union Station is 1 hour.) There are plenty of restaurants not too far from the house too. If you do not have a car, Ubers and taxis were available within 5-10 minutes after requesting one. We loved the home. The beds were comfortable, every room and fixture was clean, there were plenty of kitchen accessories, towels, coffee pods, laundry pods, hand soap, spices, toilet paper, etc. The only item we bought was napkins, which was totally fine & to be expected. The fireplace was an added bonus. especially since the weather was cold & snowy outside. There are board games such as Monopoly & cards, The lighting was good too, especially for putting on makeup in the bathroom. Quiet neighborhood. Would definitely stay there again! Thank you, Nancy!

This air bnb was a home away from home for us. We came to the area to watch our US Sailor graduate from boot camp. But this home made it much more for my family. We were able to cook our Sailor a home cooked meal, give him a place to kick up his feet, rest, play video games, and share stories. I highly recommend this home. It was EXTREMELY clean, easy to find, convenient, and sweet. Thanks again!

It was a great little home for us to stay for my sons Navel graduation. The kitchen had pretty much everything needed to cook basic meals. The home was very clean and well maintained. It was 20 minutes from his base which made it a nice short drive. The only down side is the stairs leading to the bedrooms are a little tight but they definitely managable.

My family and I enjoyed our stay at Dennis house. I remember being cold and I messaged Dennis at 12 midnight or later two nights in a row and he adjusted the heat for me. I will definitely book Ennis home again.

Great work out facility and pool still needs some work but depending on your length of stay and needs it worked well for me

A great location of you have a loved one graduating from The Great Lakes. Easy access to the base and a charming area to stay.

The apartment had everything we needed. It was walkable to restaurants, had everything we needed to cook, had a very thorough binder with local suggestions. The apartment was cute and comfortable. Two things stood out to me that are very important when I stay at an air Bnb - it didn’t smell like fragrances or chemicals and the beds (and couch) were comfortable. After checking out I thought I had left something in the apartment and sharon was very responsive and helpful.

We love Sharon’s place. We are repeat visitors and we’ll definitely pick Sharon’s place the next time we’re in the area. The bungalow is super comfortable, pristine and has so many nice amenities. Sharon is a wonderful host and she went out of her way to make our stay feel like home. I would highly recommend Sharon’s place when you’re visiting Libertyville.

Thank you again for such an amazing stay! Your home was comfortable, had many beds, and lots of space...everything my family and I could have asked for. We were in town for our daughter's Naval graduation from bootcamp. The naval base as well as the grocery stores, restaurants, etc were easily accessible. The neighborhood was nice, quiet, and felt safe. Our stay was well worth the price and we plan on visiting again in the near future.

This space might be too small! We had a wonderful time and the place was within 20-30 minutes of wherever we needed to go. The greetings from day 1 to the Navy graduate compliments to Valentine’s wishes to the final exit greetings were just so touching. The feel of structure (floors, radiators, cozy and comfort fit.) Those radiators took me back to days of yesterday living in a rural part of Maryland before modern day amenities took over. My grandsons (25, 13) would’ve preferred just hanging out there but they succumbed to hanging with the sister who was the graduate. If she was scheduled to leave on Monday we definitely would seized the offer to Stan an additional night. 5 Stars!

I would definitely recommend staying here the sunsets are amazing and the host is very friendly, there is a bar right below the property and the staff was very friendly the people from the community were very welcoming you’ll love it there I will definitely book again

We really enjoyed staying at Amanda's place! It was quiet and the view of the water was really gorgeous. Amanda was very response and kind. The place was clean and as pictured. The environment was also very safe and friendly. We would definitely stay there again!

The place was beautiful the architecture was amazing. The place was cozy felt right at home. The indoor fireplace was great and the big screen tv was a plus. Highly recommend. The owner was very nice even let us have a late check out with no extra cost.

Will definitely be recommending to any family or friends that want a waterfront getaway! Robyn and Tim were fantastic hosts and welcoming from the very second we stepped out of the car. The location of the property makes you feel secluded but also part of the lake life experience of the "Chain" all at the same time. Friends nearby had no trouble picking us up from the private pier for a boat ride, and Robyn also offered up use of the kayaks right away. The only thing I would change was how much time we were able to stay at the cabins and utilize the fire pit/beach/deck/etc. Need a stay in the future!

What a sweet little lakeside cabin! It was perfect for our getaway weekend of R&R, small but with everything we needed and so clean and cozy and cute inside! The host touched base several times before and during our stay which made such a positive impression - all went smoothly but it was nice to know how accessible they were. Thanks and we’ll definitely be back when winter is over and we can get outside more and enjoy their great outdoor amenities!

Tim & Robin's place was wonderful! The cottage (#1) was exactly like the pictures and was very clean. Tim & Robin live on-site and we were greeted upon arrival. Through the weekend we had several passing conversations that were very pleasant. They had lots of solid recommendations and made sure we were comfortable. The property itself was simply dreamy! There was a nice beach area as well as an elevated deck overlooking the lake. We would definitely recommend renting here and plan on returning at some point in the future.

I stayed in the cottage for a month, and it was comfortable and the community had everything I needed.
