We had an unforgettable family experience, enjoying the serene beauty of the lake right from the private dock. The hot tub provided a soothing escape, and evenings by the fire pit, complete with provided firewood, created cherished memories.​ As a delightful courtesy, we were able to prepare delicious waffles for breakfast, adding a special touch to our mornings. Thank you for the coffee, softdrinks and snacks also. I highly recommend this place; the host is always attentive and ready to assist with anything you might need. It's an exceptional spot for a peaceful and memorable getaway.​

Stay was nice and relaxing. Lots of beaches to visit in surrounding area and good trails to walk.

We have stayed at this place a few times now and always enjoy our visit. It’s perfect for a big group, has a well stocked kitchen, a cozy fireplace and a wonderful hot tub with views of the beautiful yard. Will be back next year!

Wonderful stay for our family of six—great value, lovely home and property, and the hosts were quick to respond to anything we needed!

It was such a chill and cozy spot. The only hiccup we had was with the neighbors. There were five of us just hanging out in the hot tub, chatting and laughing, with the music on at a VERY reasonable volume on a SATURDAY night. Apparently, that was too loud for them, and they even threatened to call the cops! But honestly, the staff handled it great, and it didn’t put a damper on our weekend at all. Besides that, everything went smoothly, and I really enjoyed my time there.

We really enjoyed our stay in Port Renfrew. We are a family of 4 and the cabin was a perfect fit for our needs. We were in a great central location, we managed to visit Sombrio Beach, Mystic Beach and Botanical Beach all in one day. The hottub and fire pit were a huge hit for our kids after a full day of exploring. The hosts were friendly and super responsive! We would definitely recommend staying here to our friends.

This was one of the best and most enjoyable Airbnb stays we’ve ever had. The house offered everything we could ask for in terms of amenities and entertainment. The blankets, towels, and bed linens were impeccably clean and well-organized. The kitchen was beyond fully equipped—we found everything we needed. The house was beautifully decorated with antique and vintage items, making it feel like a living museum that we thoroughly enjoyed exploring. One of the most fascinating parts was a little playroom, once belonging to a baby girl years ago, filled with toys from that era. Although we didn’t have a little girl in our group, all the adults couldn’t resist visiting this charming space. Even though our group only used one of the two bathrooms, we had a fantastic experience and would absolutely love to stay with this wonderful and thoughtful host again.

We enjoyed our stay at Handsome Dan’s place. Our time in Port Renfrew and the surrounding area was delightful. Highly recommended if you are looking for an adventure on Victoria Island.

Cozy stay :) Jason gave us a heads up that the power in the town was out several hours before our arrival and provided us with updates every hour. He gave us the opportunity to change our plans if needed. We are happy we ended up deciding to still come because the power came back very shortly after arriving. The house heated back up quickly and we had a wonderful time going to some of the places Jason recommended.

This was a great location to access the ferry. Beautiful sunsets and the occasional seal sighting were experienced from the spacious deck. Pender has lots to see and do.

Wonderful hosts, very friendly. Absolutely amazing weekend, would 100% book this place again. The lake was beautiful, and the local food and people were wonderful and friendly.

Julie was a great host, would definitely stay again! We actually did a same day booking because our original Airbnb had to cancel and we were so grateful Julie was able to make it work on such short notice. The place is super cozy and has beautiful views right on the lake. Would love to come back in the summer for another girls trip! Highly recommend.

We stayed late March for a bit of spring break and the a lovely time. There was no one staying at the main cottage or the campground so we had the entire property to ourselves. It was very peaceful. The property is beautifully maintained with lots of space to explore. The seals were out everyday. Just a couple minutes drive form the grocery store. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed.

The street was very quiet. I think there was only one or two other cabins that were being used that week, which means we had a very peaceful stay. We locked out it was also very sunny the entire week. The place was amazing with big windows, it was clean, bright and beautiful. Thank you very much Cheryl. We had a wonderful stay. Looking forward to booking with you again 🙂

We couldn’t recommend Kevin’s place enough. Perfect location for a relaxing getaway on the beautiful Salt Spring Island. We felt right at home and the space was perfect for travelling with our dogs. The cottage is clean, spacious, comfortable. Will definitely stay again!

We found ourselves in town for a family service and Fiona was the utmost kind and supportive host we could have found. The space was absolutely perfect, spotless, serene, and comfortable. It was exactly as described and made a difficult trip much more easy, especially being by the beautiful ocean. We saw a ton of wildlife so the speed limits are absolutely necessary. Thank you Fiona, we will surely be back in the future.

Walk into the postcard perfect nautical setting, with an active marina, seals and herons at home at the end of the private ramp into the water, and the classy well appointed home. We relaxed immediately on comfortable furniture, with West Coast scenery greeting us out of most windows. Spacious rooms in a compact cottage context. Great kitchen.

Lovely, comfortable place right on the water. The views were incredible, and we saw eagles, seals, and orca, deer and so many birds. Incredibly relaxing stay. We were there 2 nights and it was so refreshing that it felt like a week.

We were visiting the island to spend time with our son over the family day long weekend and had a wonderful stay. Such a cozy little cottage surrounded by natural beauty. Very well stocked kitchen and we immediately felt right at home. Lindsay

Enjoy the peace and tranquility this place has to offer. It was so relaxing to stare out at the wonderful bay and see otters play outside on the docks. I will always remember this place and will 100% come back to it. The host is wonderful and responsive and checked in on me various times to make sure we were enjoying our visit. I wish more hosts were like this! Cannot recommend this place any higher!

An amazing, well equipped cabin overlooking a pristine lake. The cabin is central to the island making it ideal to stay at while exploring Salt Spring! We were able to cook a full meal thanks to the thoughtful stocked kitchen and amenities! Ashley was a delight to communicate and even before we left we agreed we'd return someday.

Great host, I was busy when they informed me I could check in early and if we wanted the air mattress set up, I seen the message upon arrival. Let them knew we arrived and could set up. Received a message stating they can still set up. Clear and positive communication. We all enjoyed the welcome package, kids loved the snacks that were there for them to eat.

Wonderful place to stay - beautiful view and home, great little town with fantastic food and walks. 10/10
