Quiet, beautiful modern home with all the necessary amenities. Close to the beach. Very private and peaceful location. Beds are comfortable and everything is tastefully arranged and decorated. We really enjoyed staying as a family with our elderly mother in law tagging along. Our daughter enjoyed the snacks and games provided. Thanks Tess!

Huge home with all the needed amenities for our stay! Was very pleased to find a little closet of kids puzzles and books as well. My kids loved the gems and rocks that were collected around the home. Wish there was a little space where we could have found it what some of them were and where they were collected!!

Great place. Quiet neighbourhood. They were helpful with directions on parking.

While the home was lovely (and it really was), the backyard is what will bring us back. It’s every kid’s dream. It poured rain while we were there and our kids still played outside. I can’t even imagine the summers here. Perfect home for outdoor gatherings.

We loved our stay in this great spot on Mount Parke. Really nice views and peaceful location where we enjoyed hearing birdsong and the ferries tooting their horns as they were passing through Active Pass.

Every one of us felt the same way about Lisas house. The rooms were clean, the kitchen was comfortable to prepare food and had what a person needs. All i can say more is if you want a relaxing home this is the place for you. And as far as the rooster, he does what he does cause hes a rooster. We appreciated the "Avian Alarm Clock"!

We had very restful sleeps as the home was in a quiet neighborhood with very comfy beds. We were able to enjoy sitting on the deck one afternoon listening to the birds and enjoying the view. The drive to Ganges for groceries and restaurants was only ten minutes drive. The kitchen had everything we needed to prepare a meal including some vinegars, oils and seasoning. Our hosts were very friendly and keen to make sure we had everything we need.

We rented both properties for a family get together and had a lovely time. We rented the adjoining 2bd Salty Suite for the ones who had babies so the rest of us could sleep in the mornings! The main house was great for sharing dinners and spending time together. We were able to locate extra chairs in the basement which we needed for our large family and the table extended perfectly. Between the two suites there were four high chairs so we didn’t need to bring our own. We especially appreciated the extra large fridge/freezer in the main house. We brought all our food with us as Sooke is 30km away and not convenient for restocking, so the fridge space was amazing! The property is really private and the kids enjoyed kicking a ball around on the expansive lawn area. We also enjoyed the trail down to the beach - great for watching sunrises and sunsets! We appreciated the large DVD collection and the cupboard full of board games - all of which we made full use of during our stay.

Dave's place is a garden suite. It was bright and open feeling. The bedrooms were of ample size. The one bed was a little squeaky, but comfortable enough. Oh! The pillows. So many to choose from. I can't imagine anyone wouldn't find the right fit. Nice little touches; tissues in every room. Milk and cream and butter and plenty of other condiments. Induction burners. I want them for my place!

We had a great time at this air bnb. We could really tell that there was a lot of thoughtfulness that went into the place, in the furnishings, amenities, and - something people often overlook - safety! There was a sign from the city stating that it was a legal suite and there were flashlights by the light switches in case of an emergency. I also really appreciated that it was pet friendly and very clean. Thanks!

Had a great 2 weeks stay with the family. Felt right at home with the cozy and modern environment. Would definitely come back!

Jane was a fantastic host! Her place was cozy, we had a long stay and enjoyed every minute! The hot tub was a perfect way to end each day…we had the most incredible weather. Easy walking distance to downtown.

Sarah and Jacob were really helpful and the house had everything we needed during our stay.

Agata’s place was so beautiful, in a great location and very comfortable to stay in! There was lots to do around the area and it felt very safe. It was very easy to check in, even when going with a vehicle and the instructions were super easy to follow. Agata also responded quickly to messages and made communication stress-free. We were hoping for a quiet place by the ocean and this condo exceeded expectations! Both the inside - so spacious and lovely and clean with everything we needed, and the surroundings - the unobstructed ocean view, the seals and herons, the sunrises and sunsets, the walks on the beach, the star gazing from the dock, and especially the peaceful atmosphere. We can't say enough and we will definitely return.

Excellent on all points. The apartment was spacious, clean with modern furnishings. the view from the balcony was a highlight. Kristin and Ryan were responsive and helpful - we appreciated the extra bit of time to check out. Parking is easy to access and just a stones throw from the main street of town.

We had a lovely time staying in Tammy’s home. It was really clean and very well stocked with everything we needed. She is very responsive and we were able to check in a bit early on our arrival. The bed is very comfortable and there is a lovely view of the water from the patio. We would definitely stay here again! The resort has a tennis court, lots of grills, one campfire pit, dock for crabbing or boats, beach for clamming. The property is very well kept. Thanks again Tammy for such a lovely stay!

We had an incredible stay at this stunning property perched on the ocean in Shirley, BC! The views of the Olympic Mountains from the premium hot tub were nothing short of breathtaking, especially when we spotted humpback whales at dusk on our first night—pure magic! The property itself at moments may feel more like a swanky international hotel with its backlit onyx kitchen and luxurious rain shower yet nestled in the rustic beauty of the coast. Our host, Robert, was incredibly kind and attentive, immediately offering his charging station for our car—a real relief. Highly recommend this place for an exceptional, premium coastal retreat close to Victoria!

This is a great location for driving over to interesting attractions on Vancouver Island. The inside and outside accommodations in the 201 were very comfortable! The beds we slept in provided restful sleep. When you tire of eating out at the many fine restaurants, you can pick up food to cook and eat from a nearby grocery stores or at a bakery in the nearby bakery in Sidney. The 201 has all the kitchen appliance’s you’ll need. The outside view on top of the roof can be spectacular in the early mornings. We parked a second car overnight on Mt Newton Cross Road half way between Wallace Dr and E Saanich Rd. No problem as long as it gets moved around and does sit in the same spot for 3 days straight. Patterson Rd is another location.
