Jason’s home is a perfectly preserved slice of nostalgia and charm. The design and decor were so beautiful. Everything was organized with helpful labels and details that made the stay seamless. We loved the DVD collection and it became a nightly tradition to pick one out. The accommodations for dogs are above and beyond. Our favorite memory was watching them swim in the pond. They were in heaven. Best stay in Julian! Already dreaming of our next visit. 🥰

John was super clear on his instructions. The place was perfect for our little get away. The boys had a great time. The place is super cozy. I would definitely go back again. We loved it.

Patricia's place is very cozy and welcoming. Us three and our 15 yr old lab had everything we needed to enjoy a quiet and relaxing weekend in Julian. Comfy beds, a hot tub, hammocks, and multiple coffee machines. What else does one need? :) We'll come back for sure. Thanks Patricia.

Me and my wife absolutely loved this place, especially since we have a toddler. The place is very optimized for it. There is nothing to break at the reach of the toddler so I don't have to be careful all the time. There are some toys and the play structure outside is super fun and so convenient. There's even a toddler table! And the crib came in so handy. There are even black-out blinds in the toddler room so I didn't have to use my black-out curtains. The place is so homey and we enjoyed the fireplace. The patio is so wonderful and peaceful. We had a great time!

This was the perfect home to rest and relax in. Has all the amenities and more, we felt right at home. We enjoyed cooking in the kitchen and eating outside in the evening. Really enjoyed family time watching movies on the massive TV! Matt was very responsive and kind and left very thorough instructions for all of the home’s features. We would love to come back and definitely recommend to anyone who wants a memorable stay in Julian!

This place is exactly what you see. You have all the privacy you need, but you're not too far away from the market. Finding the place, getting inside and the amount of things that you can do at the home, makes it worth the stay. The house was spotless, and everything in the house works. No surprises.

The Cowboy Cabin is the perfect place to really unwind and enjoy a relaxing stay while in Julian. If the weather is good like it was for us this weekend, it is just so relaxing to sit on the deck and listen to the birds. We have stayed at the cabin on multiple occasions, and it's our favorite place to stay in Julian. Christina definitely meets all the requirements of a super host. Super responsive and friendly in all her communications.

This place was amazing! The quiet scenery beautiful backyard, lots of wildlife, the fireplace was amazing kept us nice and warm during our stay. Would definitely recommend this place for anyone who wants to be near Julian but want a quiet peaceful place to relax and unwind this is the place to be! Definitely coming back next year for my next little vacation!

The property provided a western ambiance with amazing views. The location was private but close to downtown Julian. We had a comfortable stay. The host was responsive and friendly.

My family truly enjoyed our stay at Lili’s house. There was a warm fire lit to greet us upon our arrival on a chilly day. Plenty of firewood was available on the grounds to replenish the fireplace and our kiddos had a great time being our helpers and exploring the yard. There were a couple of lights that didn’t come on but nothing that would deter from our experience. The whole home was a great space for our family, including our fur babies. We hope to be back again in the future.

Lovely stay for couple or a family. Easy access to trails and restaurants. Private and cozy. This is our second time staying at Shantel’s cabin and we will definitely be back!

We had such a beautiful weekend getaway at Rictors place. The cabin is just so cute! Secluded and private. It was easy to find following Rictors instructions. We did get in late at night and it was a little scary with all the turns and super dark roads so just beware. The place was very clean, cozy, open and airy. We had everything we needed to be comfortable. I definitely want to come back again and stay here again. Book this charming place now!!! The night skies are so majestic! My favorite part were all the little seating areas around the property and being surrounded by nature! You can literally hear the birds as they flap their wings! 10/10 recommend!

“This place is like Ironman’s cabin,” my husband said. I couldn’t have agreed more. The lovely cabin was a beautiful balance between old California history and new age technology. We enjoyed using the projector while hearing everything through the nice sound system and being able to have simple things be addressed through the convenient command of speaking to “Alexa.” Our 2 year old especially enjoyed telling Alexa which songs she wanted to listen to! The kitchen was well equipped, especially for the amount of space that was provided. All of the towels and linens were clean and comfy. Most importantly was the service and communication. This is one of the most important things to our family as Airbnb patrons. Rob and Laura were nothing but kind, communicative and inviting. We’d definitely want to return to “Iron Man’s Cabin” 😉 the next time we’re in Julian! Thank you!

Pretty good place to stay if you have a large group. Having the two cabins with the communal yard makes it easy to situate everyone. Only downside is at least for me is I wasn’t getting any service, so just make sure your service provider lets you do WiFi calling or else you won’t be able to make calls or text. Wish check out time was a little later but over all I would stay again maybe even longer if the price is right. It was a great experience! :)

My family and I were pleasantly surprised with the location. The location is located on a farm with an orchard, horses, chickens, and sheep. The location is very quiet and peaceful, especially when we took walks in the morning. Our host was responsive, as well as the caretaker who stays on the large property. We would definitely stay here again.

Didn’t realize the cabin was a duplex until we arrived. We probably would have been irritated if there had been anyone next door, but there wasn’t so it was all good. Beautiful view and peaceful, safe surroundings. Don’t miss walking up to the Perch! We appreciated that they provided coffee, very clean bathroom, and the many excellent pillows on the bed! Our only small complaint was the tiny blinds let in tons of light in the morning. Luckily we weren’t bent on sleeping in, so it was fine. This was the perfect place for a quick weekend getaway where we didn’t need to spend much time in the room, but we were comfortable when we did. Would definitely recommend and come back!

Cabin #9 felt like a retreat . . . surrounded by woodland with views of the valley, fresh flowers greeting me in the kitchen, Keurig coffeemaker & coffee provided, wood for the wood stove, instant hot water and large shower with great water pressure, WiFi & TV with streaming access, close to Santa Ysabel, Julian (the Julian Pie Company😋) and the wildflowers of Anza-Borrego. The onsite host responded immediately and was so gracious in welcoming me when I had a question. Upon leaving I appreciated the reminder of check-out instructions which were minimal. A real gem that I’ll be back for.

Little Pine is a little gem! Perfect for 2 ppl and a small dog=) Beautiful nature all around, feels private and cozy. Inside was very clean and looked like pictures. Couldn't use Netflix but Renee brought us a bag of DVDs so there was lots to choose from when we wanted to watch TV. Not a big deal since we were there to unplug a bit anyway. Renee is very helpful and quick to try & fix any issues and takes good care of the property. And her sweet pup Feather is an absolute doll! We enjoyed her and the cool kitty too. Property is just a few mins down the road to Main Street if you want a little more action. Plenty of shops and restaurant options plus the Julian Farm and Orchard is also a close drive.

Absolutely, adorable place, truly vintage, with one medium and one firmer bed, so you could choose, depending on your preferences, very close to a hiking trail, walkable, cozy, just ideal.

We really enjoyed our stay to celebrate Valentines Day. It was a very cute place with all the amenities you’d need including cookware and even wine glasses. You will need seasonings though. It had listed an outside fire pit but there was not one and that was a little disappointing but the wood burning stove inside was very nice to have. We also didn’t realize it wasn’t more of a secluded cabin, you will have neighbors directly to each side of you but it was quiet. The location is beautiful and convenient. Make sure to drive into the town of Julian, it is SO CUTE and has the perfect small town feel with different types of stores to check out. Overall, it was a great stay, we really enjoyed our time especially with it being so close to us in San Diego.
