We loved the house and the amenities. The kids loved the pool and the lake. Host was very nice and offered a list of places to eat and things to do during our stay. Would definitely return and recommend.

We really enjoyed having our family gathering here. It’s spacious, comfortable, and pretty well provisioned. The game room was a big hit, as was the hot tub, particularly after several (younger) family members did a “polar plunge” twice. As the father of the crew, I enjoyed a scenic kayak tour of the lake with my wife. The lake views from the property are pretty special too.

My family and I enjoyed this time away to reconnect, visit family nearby and enjoy nature. It was a brief stay but was exactly the type of peace I needed. The sunrise is absolutely beautiful and will remain my memory of peace for along time. I will absolutely come back again (but it would be nice if they allowed dogs).

We rented the house for a funeral where we could all gather afterwards and be nearby family. It was the perfect place. We felt right at home and plenty of space to spread out but still all be together. We are already talking about going back this summer.

Laura was so kind and responsive even before we checked in. She wasn’t aware but my family and I were in town for my grandfather’s funeral so we didn’t need any added stress. Laura’s home was open, clean, and full of games to play. I’ll be staying again!

Fabulous house. Beautiful lake front location. The numerous balconies & decks allow you to enjoy the view. Everything was even better than pictured. Having an elevator is wonderful particularly when you have luggage & coolers to unload or persons with mobility issues. Kitchen is fully equipped including a blender & food processor. This was the best equipped AirBnB I’ve ever rented. This is a small townhouse community so very peaceful. Community pool (4 foot max depth) is a quick walk & has noodles & pool toys for use at no charge. Food Lion grocery store is a few minutes drive away as is a Subway (sandwiches) and the ABC store (liquor). Host was polite, professional & very responsive. Can’t wait to return.

A great place to stay if you are looking to enjoy the lake, nice and peaceful. We didn't bring a boat but if we did there was easy access to get your boat to the dock. We arrived after dark, and it was a bit confusing to find the house at night, but we did and everything else was awesome.

My wife and I planned a weekend away with our children and parents. We got there and the pictures could not tell the story of how beautiful this house is and the lake. The view from the balcony will be a picture in our home. The kids had a great time bonding around the fire pit. And playing games. Because of my very busy schedule, it’s hard to get away and this is just what was needed. I would highly recommend this home, however, I don’t think that would be a surprise.

My girls weekend was perfect! The layout of the house was accommodating to both togetherness and privacy. My group was so impressed with the beautiful views of the lake, comfortable and cozy home set up, and attention to cleanliness and detail. Out of all of the homes we have visited for or annual Girls trips, the Boydton Lake house has become our favorite. Thank you Nanette and Natalie for providing such a great environment for special memories to be made. Highly recommend!!

I lived in this lake house for 5 months and was very very pleased with all aspects of my stay. Book with confidence.

It’s difficult to put into words how incredible our stay was. We had two boys with us (6 & 10) and our 11 year old pup. Mike went above and beyond in accommodating us the entire stay. We would like to return to Mike’s lake house every year and make it a summer tradition while the kids are still young. The boat house/dock area is where we spent the majority of our time. It was huge with plenty of place to relax. The photos simply do not do the space justice. Mike had tubes and floats available for use and a sound system down by the dock. Playing music (at a respectful volume) made our stay so much more enjoyable. The depth off the dock was 10ft, which made diving into the water so much more fun, without having to worry about a mucky lake floor. The kitchen is new, as are the appliances. It does lake a dishwasher, but Mike had everything we needed to clean/dry the dishes before we departed. What a trip! We hope to be back next year if it’s still available.

This area was really cute. The house was very well equipped, lots of additional items that made the stay pleasurable. The house and amenities appear fairly new and in great shape.

Although it was a wonderful stay at the property and we enjoyed our time there, there was a water leak in the basement that kept us from being able to use the basement and hot water heater for 2 days of our trip. The owner responded right away to the issue via phone but could not get a repair man out to the property until after we left. Additionally, the house was very well kept but the grounds outside the house could have been a little better kept. There were toys, trash (minimal) and kayaking gear thrown around the backyard. All in all it was a great house for us, but wanted to be honest about our stay and what we experienced.

Beautiful spot on the lake. Gentle slope to the water. Deck got just enough sun, but not too much. The house is just as described and was fine for 3 couples. Two of the bathrooms have very small sinks, perhaps they should be called "sinkettes", but we were warned of this ahead and they show in the photos. Just an FYI.

Amazing big southern mansion and a very comfortable bed. Glad I spent the money. Hope to return with more friend and family. This house could absorb a lot of people and there are so many cool areas to hang inside and out.

It is a beautiful home in a beautiful area. Very quiet and serene. The home is very cozy, I would recommend it to anyone staying in the area!

We had a very nice time in this home. We met our Marine son halfway for Christmas since he only had a short time off. Very spacious inside the house with a nice yard for our dogs to play in. Games were available to play which was a fun family thing to do. I definitely recommend staying here!

Can’t say enough good things about this place or the hosts! Such a unique and beautiful home! The property is equally as beautiful. We loved staying here. The pool table and ping pong was great to unwind at night. Not only that but Christina went above and beyond during our stay; we had to change our stay dates and extend our stay. She was super responsive and kind. Would love to stay here again and could not recommend it more!

It was a pleasure staying in this home, and Craig made the whole process run super smooth. Hoping to rent it again next year!

This was a great property that met all the expectations that were presented on line. The host was great with communication and very gracious and accommodating. The house was very clean and well-maintained in a nice private area. We enjoyed our stay greatly and would recommend this to anyone traveling to the Weldon area.

We had a really lovely time! This is definitely a place for a quiet, lowkey get away.
