My wife and I planned a weekend away with our children and parents. We got there and the pictures could not tell the story of how beautiful this house is and the lake. The view from the balcony will be a picture in our home. The kids had a great time bonding around the fire pit. And playing games. Because of my very busy schedule, it’s hard to get away and this is just what was needed. I would highly recommend this home, however, I don’t think that would be a surprise.

Jenn and Bob were great hosts! The lake was absolutely perfect for my family and what we were looking for. We had never heard of Lake Gaston or been to this part of NC but we are big fans now and will definitely be back. The amenities were great! Littleton is such a cute little quiet town. There were a few good restaurants close by but we enjoyed cooking most meals! We will certainly be back.

Great place to stay. Beautiful recently renovated home that was clean, fresh, and comfortable. Right on the water with beautiful views and access to water equipment. Will definitely be back!

Although it was a wonderful stay at the property and we enjoyed our time there, there was a water leak in the basement that kept us from being able to use the basement and hot water heater for 2 days of our trip. The owner responded right away to the issue via phone but could not get a repair man out to the property until after we left. Additionally, the house was very well kept but the grounds outside the house could have been a little better kept. There were toys, trash (minimal) and kayaking gear thrown around the backyard. All in all it was a great house for us, but wanted to be honest about our stay and what we experienced.

I want to start by saying that this place is incredible! It was beautiful, very comfortable, and had a home-like atmosphere. The lake view is breathtaking! The space was spacious and well-equipped. The hot tub was a lot of fun for the kids and our family. I also want to thank the host for being amazing and accommodating to my family! This marks the beginning of a tradition for us, and we truly appreciate it!

Everything was perfect and couldn’t have been more happy.

We loved everything about our stay. From the house itself with the adorable frogs to the location on the lake, it checked all the boxes! We loved exploring in the kayak/canoe, relaxing on the back deck and watching all the boaters and jet skiers go by (they were very friendly!), doing puzzles inside, and everything in between. The house had everything we needed, which was wonderful. Tom was so quick with his responses and a great host. We would rent again in a heartbeat! Thank you for a lovely stay, Tom.

We had the most wonderful stay at Mckenzie’s place! The property was exactly as described—clean, and cozy. The location was ideal, very peaceful and secluded. Mckenzie was incredibly welcoming and responsive, providing detailed instructions for check-in and check-out. She was very eager to assist us to make our stay pleasurable. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a relaxing and hassle-free experience.

Great location on the lake, close (within 8 minutes ) restaurants and pretty view. Peaceful. Clean and had everything we needed.

We stayed at this lovely home with two families, including our kids. The house was incredibly cozy and offered everything we needed. The living area was comfortable, the kitchen was spacious and well equipped. The property is beautifully remote, situated right in front of a serene lake, which added to the charm. The kids had a blast using the fire pit for marshmallow roasting . It was the perfect setting for both relaxation and family fun. We made sure to leave the house clean and followed the host’s instructions to turn off the thermostat before leaving. The only minor concern was the driveway—it was hard to navigate in the dark, and the path wasn’t very clear. However, everything else was fantastic, and we truly enjoyed our stay. Five stars, and we would definitely recommend it to others.

Fantastic cabin in the woods. Huge back deck overlooking the water. Bedrooms were nice size and nicely decorated. There were great little touches such as a basket of chips at the door many different options for coffee, ground or keurig. Honestly it’s exactly what me and my wife are looking for when we retire.

We had great time with family and it was a perfect location. The area was very quiet!
