I've stayed at Calley's places many times. You can beat the ski-in/ski-out location. She has made some nice upgrades to the units over the years and always does a great job with the communication. Her property manager is a great guy and is very responsive if issues arise. You can't go wrong staying here.

Great place to stay at. Nothing beats being able to just walk out of you back door and be on the ski hill. Has everything anyone would need plus more.

A great location. In walking distance to a ski lift. The place was clean and it was awesome being able to have a fire in the fire place. Peter checked in with us in person to see if we needed anything. Also, he was very responsive to a couple questions I had prior to arriving. We will be back.

Good spot, nice place for the price. We had a small mix-up with getting back in, but Tim was very responsive and got it handle immediately.

The house was exactly as described in a beautiful setting, right on the ski hill. Beautiful property. All amenities included as described except for soap and shampoo for the shower I recommend bringing your own. The host was extremely responsive and great to work with. We will definitely recommend and planning on making this an annual trip. There are a series of hikes and 5 waterfalls just down the road about 15 minutes. We had a great stay

This is a very nice and spacious place in a convenient building whether you are skiing at Black River (which is ski in - ski out) or Jackson Creek Summit which is only 10 minutes away and has easy parking. Calley is super responsive and easy to work with.

Tim’s place was very relaxing for the early weekend getaway! Would def stay with host again!

Calley is a really great host. This place is clean and comfortable with two full bedrooms and bathrooms. It’s super convenient to Black River. True ski in / ski out. Easy drive to Jackson Creek and other local areas. These are some of the best accommodations in the area with a great host. Highly recommend! We will be back.

Hemlock Haven was an absolute gem to stay at. The place was very nice, with really nice furnishings and very well stocked. The drive in is just gorgeous and very private. We walked our dog off leash daily and never ran into anyone. Felt like we had the world to ourselves. Fishing was pretty good too. We caught walleye, perch, northern and a few small Muskie. Bob was so helpful and gave us lots of tips and places to try out. The out door deck in the back is so cool and where we spent lots of time cooking, eating, and listening to music. We never turned on the tv once! It is tight to go up to the master bedroom which is accessed by a spiral staircase. We stayed in the bunk room because we didn’t want to leave our senior dog downstairs alone in a strange place, so we had to bring our luggage upstairs as there really isn’t anywhere to put anything downstairs. It was impossible to get my luggage up but managed to move some stuff around and make it work. This was the only negative! 5 stars!

Jim is a great host and was great to work with. This house is very large and easily accommodated our group of 10. I highly recommend!

Super hosts. Very communicative and helpful from time of booking to departure. Great tips for what to expect, what to pack, ideas of things to do…it felt like we knew exactly how to plan and prepare. The cabin was great. First observation upon walking in was how clean it was. Plenty of space for our family of four to enjoy meals, play board games, and generally relax. The resort amenities were excellent as well. The store had everything you might need, snacks and any supplies we forgot, extra games and books, rental equipment for the many activities available, foosball and pool tables, etc. and everything was in great shape. We spent three nights there and when we were packing up to leave it felt like the trip was not long enough. We were so comfortable and there was so much to do and see, we would have been happy to be there for several more days. Next time! Thank you to Genevieve and Darren for a wonderful and memorable trip!

The house was super clean and everything was as explained when booking the house.

The stay was perfect for a quiet getaway that we were looking for. The sunrise views were gorgeous. The cabin was very clean. We look forward to coming back again and hopefully for a longer stay. Scott was a great host and very flexible and we appreciated the hospitality.

Collin's place was perfect for our family Christmas! Such a nice spot tucked away in the woods - perfect for stargazing! We even saw eagles and a family of otters playing on the ice. The house had everything we needed for our stay and check-in and out was a breeze. I'd love to come back in the summer to enjoy the lakes!!

We had a wonderful week. The cabin was beautiful and provided everything we needed for our large family. You can tell the owners take a great deal of pride in their home and providing a great experience for their clients. The kids/grandkids loved the many water toys (kayaks, paddle boat, lilly pad, etc.) that were provided for our use. The outside areas are just beautiful and we enjoyed a campfire each night during our stay. The cabin provided a number of different living areas and the grandkids especially loved the basement and the toys that were provided. Communication with the owner was incredible. He was so helpful with any questions/concerns we had and made our stay seamless. We loved everything about our stay and give it our highest recommendation.

My wife and I stayed here for a week and we had a wonderful time at this beautiful quaint little two bedroom cottage. The name of "The View" is spot on as we had a spectacular view of the lake just steps from the front door. We enjoyed our morning coffee looking out at the lake. There are no resorts on the lake, just homeowners, so the lake is very quiet and peaceful. The fishing was great as we caught Walleye, Smallmouth Bass, and a lot of Crappie. Kasia was super responsive at check-in and we never needed to contact her for anything else. I also, loved the fish cleaning station near the campfire pit with running water via the hose attached to the cottage. We had a wonderful time and hope to stay there again.

Sandy Point was GREAT! Exceeded our expectations. Great hosts, fantastic location, super clean and very nice overall. The view from Hilltop Cabin was stunning. The cabin was large enough to comfortably accommodate our family of four adults. Very comfortable stay. We’d recommend and may stay again. The disc golf course is an added bonus. We enjoyed walking the property and taking in the walking trails at the Marshall Wildlife Conservation Area across the road to the north!! Thanks again for a great weekend getaway.

Tim and Roxanne were the nicest hosts we’ve ever dealt with and their place is truly spectacular. It was a privilege to stay there. It is beautiful, peaceful and such an idyllic setting! They also keep their place in tip top shape and have everything you could ever need available for you. Hammocks, boats, bikes… whatever you need. We’ve stayed at a ton of rentals up north as well as internationally, and none come close to staying with Tim and Roxanne at their place. Plus, the lake is pristine and private to the twenty some property owners that have a home on it. Great fishing, clear water and even some sandy spots. Oh, and Al Capone’s brother owned a house on this lake, so there’s a lot of cool history too. So glad we found this place…. Thanks Tim and Roxanne!

This was the second time our hunting group stayed here, and not the last. It is well located for where we hunt. The cabin is clean and comfortable with plenty of space for us to relax when we get back from the woods.

I’ve stayed here once in the fall and once in winter, both great. The house is solid, clean and quiet. Looking forward to visiting in spring and summer.

Brian's place was nice, neat, and clean. Comfortable beds and furniture. It was just as pictures showed. Very good location for snowmobiling, close to trails and restaurants. Host and housekeeper were informative and answered questions well. The only down side is its on the main highway so kind of noisy in the mornings, but not a deal breaker for us.
