We had an amazing New Year's stay at this Airbnb! The house was wonderful, and the host went above and beyond to ensure we had a great time. We lost our mobile phone while getting on the kayak, and the host's neighbors were incredibly helpful in retrieving it from the water. They were friendly and easy to talk to, making our experience even more enjoyable. Highly recommend this place. Thanks a lot Steve and Ted.

We loved the view of the lake, and enjoyed a warm day with a nice walk. Great location for Clemson games with only a 22 minute ride to campus!

All we have to say is WOW!!! Definitely one of the cleanest places we’ve stayed ! Very important. Super happy with this gem of a location. I absolutely enjoyed every moment. Spent lots of time at the fire pit and hanging with the doggy. Madonna approves! The house itself is perfectly spaced out and all the cook wear is great so you don’t have to search for a meal! It’s so quiet there and the lake is beautiful! We came out here because we had housework done and needed to vacate.. Thanks goodness we did cause now we know the best place to stay!!!! Thank you so much for sharing your home with us.

My family and I have stayed here 2 years in a row for Clemson family weekend. It has been perfect both times, no issues at all. It is a little far from Clemson, but totally worth it!

The porch swings, the hot tub, the two covered decks, the fire pits, the large comfy couch, the thoughtful S'mores kit, and the list of reasons why we'd return goes on and on! Sunset viewing and stargazing on the patio in the evening was a delight. A stroll in the area revealed a large family of deer that were feeding around dusk in the evenings, that allowed us to quietly observe them. Huge positive that we were able to bring our pups as we like to include them in our adventures like this! We didn't opt to use the kayaks or paddleboards given the rain and the low temps during most of our stay, but they looked to be well kept and stocked along with life vests if the weather forecast aligns for you. Check out the plant "cutting" shelf in the dining room if you have (or are aspiring to have) a green thumb. Such a neat little gift to take home to remember the trip for years to come!

Clayton is a great little town and Merielbys home is very close to downtown. The home is well equipped and had everything we needed for our short stay.

My sister and I enjoyed our stay in Clayton. We came to play golf and also spent our other time in the restaurants and speakeasy. The house had everything we needed and was very cozy and clean! We will be back!

My wife and I came to the area to look at all of the towns surrounding Lakes Hartwell and Keowee. We are looking to invest in a retirement place soon and this area of SC is high in the list. The house is similar to what we might buy or build for a retirement home, so we stayed in it versus a hotel. Alex was easy to deal with and we had zero issues with our stay.

We had an amazing stay. We loved the privacy yet it is close enough to several restaurants and stores! Lindsay was an excellent host and provided all the information we needed up front. The house was very clean and comfortable. We fell in love with Clayton, GA! We hope to make this an annual event!

My wife and I really enjoyed our stay at Mimi’s place. The cabin was comfortable, clean and offered all the amenities of home. Checkin was easy and Mimi was available to answer any questions we may have had. We loved having coffee on the deck in the morning and a glass of wine in the evening, not to mention the hot tub. We would highly recommend Mimi’s cabin and would love to stay again should we ever find ourselves in the area again. Frank and Annette

Very Clean, fun, spacious, private, flawless in every way. My kids enjoyed the hot tub, and igloo. In the mountains but Food and drinks in 1 place across the street, great pizza 5 min drive, 15 min from downtown Clayton GA, which is a charming little town with great coffee, ice-cream, and wonderful food. Huzz is the best Cuban cuisine I have ever had.

John is a great communicative host. He was communicating with us from the get go which I can appreciate. The cabin is the perfect anount of cozy & don’t get me started on the hot tub! Wonderful host & wonderful cabin. Would easily choose to stay here again!

We stayed at Lizard Lodge last year at the same time. We loved it so much we booked again and this year was just as fabulous. We enjoyed the hot tub, playing games around the kitchen table, and just visiting. The house was perfect for our needs. Thanks for sharing your house with us.

We had a really amazing stay! We spent two nights here for our mini honey moon after getting married. It’s an amazing cabin and beautiful location. I would highly recommend for any couples wanting to get away.

It had incredible views. We enjoyed the wood stove, sunrises, and the stars. Very spacious deck and master bedroom. Brian was very attentive and quick to respond. The trip up the mountain was challenging the first time. He had to reassure us we were on the right track. We enjoyed hiking and see the local waterfalls. The local restaurants were really good.
