Audra’s place checked all the boxes for what I wanted: a cozy cabin with trees and nature all around, colorful decor with personality, and multiple beds so I could have a variety of choices. The gas stove heater was a major draw for this, as was the amount of natural lighting from the windows. She was extremely responsive, helpful, and the place was well stocked with games, books, and movies, which my child was very excited for. The kitchen is very well stocked! And I appreciated her extra move to have purified water available for drinking, etc. I had been seeking a retreat from daily life to integrate some recent events, and I had to be able to take my daughter with me. It would be a perfect home base for any small group or vacation up north. For me I needed something particularly cozy as a base for quiet healing and having some time to talk and get closer with my child. The energy here was perfect for that, as well as checking all the boxes for a dreamy and fun up north cabin.

Abbey’s place was beautiful, scenic, there were lots of things to do, indoors and outdoors, regardless of weather, and it was in a great location! This cottage was a home-away-from-home and we would recommend to it anyone! Abbey responds in a timely fashion to any questions you may have and she is very friendly and kind. It was also convenient that there were 2 washrooms and our son loved the sandbox with a multitude of toys, especially trucks! Not many places have the same types of amenities so this was a rare find indeed!

We had a great stay here, it was nice an peaceful and the surroundings were beautiful even in the colder months(mid November). Location was exactly what we wanted, very peaceful and literally right beside the Bruce trail and a wonderful vineyard. The host Joe was responsive to Al questions and our stay was exactly as advertised.

Great little cabin stay. We mostly wanted to stay in a log cabin because of our son's recent interest in building houses with logs. He seemed to enjoy the simple aspects, of just a simple cabin in the woods. The playground was simple, and he enjoyed it. The best was sitting out by the fire looking up at the stars and reading books with him. We brought chairs but didn't need them. Everything we needed was at the cabin. Great place.

Exactly as advertised - Beautiful property, cozy and comfortable off-grid cabin and super friendly hosts. Would absolutely come back and recommend to a friend!

Trails are right across the street! Great place to stay if you have any atvs, dirt bikes, sxs, or snowmobiles.

Had a great stay at Megan’s cottage! It’s a great location and the cottage itself has everything you need, is very clean and super cozy! Megan was very responsive, we had arrived when it was dark out and had trouble finding the place, and she answered us right away and even called to make things easier! One of my favourite airbnb’s I’ve been to, would recommend to everyone!

Beautiful little spot!! Jason’s place was exactly as pictured. We went up for 1 night just to get away, and it was perfect. Snowed all night and into the morning, it was beautiful. The place was nice and cozy, the bed was comfy and it was very clean. We didn’t get to utilize the hot tub or outside because it was buried in snow but you could tell it was a great location overlooking the water. I think this spot would be perfect for any season! Jason was a great host and extremely responsive. 10 mins from Bayfeild which has the best restaurant (the black dog) and so many cute shops. I wish we could have stayed an extra night!! Definitely will be back to experience in the summer months!! 10/10 recommend this spot.

What a cute and cozy little cottage! It was clean, well decorated and conveniently close to amenities. The fire pit next to the creek was an especially nice touch.

I had a wonderful stay here. Everything was incredible and clean. Me and my partner had such a lovely time together, we hope to come back for the summer.

Stay was lovely. Place was really nice and clean. Bigger than it looks in the pictures. Only thing i was struggling is the date i booked was unfortunately snow storm day and map was showing road closures warning. I wanted to reschedule the day but no response from 2 days no phone call answer. Then we decided with end up going left early from home as travelled from far. As soon i reach there i text again i got answer back right way. I can understand there might be emergency but at least reply me in the morning on the day we are booked. I could have rescheduled and had smooth travelling instead of struggling on road of bad snow storm day.

Great place, well designed and at an amazing location. Mix of beach & farmhouse design - it looks as good as the pics. I'd say give it a go even in winters, not just summer. The location is next to many ice fishing spots.

My husband and I had the most amazing stay at Mike’s Airbnb! From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed—Mike truly went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed for a perfect getaway. The firewood sauna was an absolute highlight! Sitting back, unwinding, and feeling the warmth while surrounded by nothing but nature was an experience we’ll never forget. It was the perfect way to relax and reset. The peaceful surroundings, fresh air, and cozy atmosphere made it feel like a true escape from the busyness of everyday life. Mike was incredibly thoughtful and accommodating during our stay, making sure everything was just right for us. We would love to return to see what nature has to offer in different seasons. A huge thank you to Mike for welcoming us to his awesome property. We truly believe it is a hidden gem!

We had a wonderful stay! The cottage was so cute and cozy and had everything we needed! We had lots of snow during our visit, and loved getting to enjoy the peaceful and private property. We even dug out the campfire pit for a winter fire! Even with all the snow, we were warm and comfortable, with the portable heater coming in handy to warm up after trekking through the snow! Jaclyn was so thoughtful and helpful as a host! We were very well taken care of! I would highly recommend staying here if you want a relaxing, peaceful, and cozy getaway surrounded by nature!

My girlfriend & I showed up to the Pine River Bunky hoping for a peaceful, scenic & remote stay for our anniversary. Turns out we got exactly what we hoped for. Weather & snow made getting in a little bit difficult but other than that we had an amazing stay & plan to return later in the year. The bunky is very cozy & warm especially in the winter time. Hosts are very accommodating & helpful, many occasions coming over to replace propane tanks for the heater & BBQ. At night we had the pleasure of hearing coyotes & the blissful sound of birds early in the morning. 10/10 would recommend to anyone!

Blair was really thoughtful and helpful during our stay. The cabin is exactly as advertised. Manitoulin Island is a beautiful, serene escape and the view of Georgian Bay from this cabin is spectacular.

Derek was an excellent host, helped us check-in and then let us enjoy the property privately afterwards. A large property, very quiet and peaceful- we stayed for New Year's eve and Derek allowed us to check out late. Looks like it would be a wonderful property to stay at during the summer! The only slightly bad thing I could is that the outhouse may not be suitable for everyone. Thank you for a wonderful experience Derek! I think it would be nice to stay again sometime during the summer!

Beautiful stay! Such a peaceful and gorgeous place, due to the weather we couldn’t enjoy much of the firepit and pond but we got to enjoy a cozy night at the cabin hearing the rainfall and watching movies. This is a tiny property but has everything you need - perfect for a romantic gateway. Tanya responds quickly and is super welcoming and helpful. They also have a sweet and energetic puppy, Minnie, at the property that will come say hi and play around with you. All in all, exceptional place for an intimate and cozy stay. Highly recommend and can’t wait to come back :)

Beautiful tiny home in Sears, MI! Awesome place to relax and disconnect from technology. The home looked even better in person than in pictures!

For what I needed, it was perfect. To be honest, I had a not-great experience here the first time, but I chose not write about it, and give it another chance (2 more stays now since, actually), and it fits my needs perfectly. Bed is comfy, all is quiet, wifi works great, shower and bathroom are steps away, all as described.
