If you’re looking for a place for the whole group to stay together and have some fun - look no further! The house itself was better in-person than the photos and was spotless. The beds were very comfortable and the main level is a great hang out area for everyone. We had so much fun in the game garage and honestly didn’t want to leave. It’s close to proximity to everything, including a great relaxed restaurant on the water next door. Jeremy and Houston were very responsive and couldn’t have asked for a better stay. Can’t wait to book another trip soon!

Awesome host and home

We came for a stay with extended family including children from baby-teen. Everyone had a comfortable place to sleep and we loved being right on the canal and the hot tub. The game room was fun for all ages and we appreciated the items for baby. The kitchen was well stocked with all we needed to cook. Thanks for a relaxing getaway!

This place was absolutely fantastic! Needed a quick get away and this could not have been a more perfect spot. The bonus was meeting the incredible folks that make up the neighborhood. Welcoming is an understatement! There is no other place I would rather stay! I have a feeling my little quick get away will become tradition! Welcoming, friendly…. Perfect!!!

We all enjoyed the spaciousness of the house, the number of bedrooms and bathrooms so we had our privacy yet room to work and eat together. The lake view was beautiful in spite of the wind and rain!

Beautiful location on the lake! We brought our kayaks and inflatable paddle board - our teen boys enjoyed themselves. If we get the opportunity to visit again, we will look into renting a pontoon boat!

The home was absolutely perfect for our annual girls trip. Fully equipped with everything you could possibly think of. The large table for meals and games has the best views. Sunsets from the fire pit, the beach or the house are beautiful. We will definitely be back!

Beautiful space for a large family gathering. The house is lovely and the big windows overlooking the lake were fantastic. Beware, if you claim the master bedroom, the en suite shower is so awesome, everyone will be trekking in to use the six nozzle shower :-) Joe was great to communicate with. We highly recommend this place!

Peaceful cottage on Long Lake. Our family shared quality time on Labor Day weekend. Had a peaceful relaxing time. Had a campfire, played in the water. Loved the screened in porch and deck looking over the lake!

What a wonderful home. I could not have asked for a more peaceful, beautiful stay. Waking up and seeing the frozen lake outside was such a nice experience. Will definitely be back!

We traveled downstate for a wrestling tournament for our 2 sons. We wanted a place to relax and away from the city for our time off of wrestling. This place was perfect! It was so peaceful being right on the lake and had such a beautiful view from the back patio. Although it's March in Michigan, we were still able to enioy the outdoor amenities. The sun was shining and we took advantage of it. We went kayaking, played corn hole and played the axe game. The house was stocked with lots of board games and everything we needed in the kitchen. We'd definitely recommend this house to others. Plus, Jim was so easy to talk to and very informative and helpful!

This was our 2nd Visit to Jean's cute cottage. Everything was just as we expected having stayed there only a month or so prior. Even though winter is still hanging on and temps were pretty bitter, it is hard not to relax looking with the lake views from inside. And you will appreciate the hours that she put in to the beautiful quilts which are displayed in every room. We will be back when the weather warms up! Dan & Lu

We had such a wonderful stay! A few college friends got together for a long weekend getaway to antique shop in Nappanee and North Webster and this was the perfect spot. We all agreed we’ll need to come back when it’s warmer so we can enjoy the lake and kayak!

My stay was nothing but amazing! My host were so amazing! They were very accommodating, communicative, and informative from the beginning to the end of my trip. Their home is so beautiful. Very clean, very spacious, nicely decorated, great views from the inside and outdoors could be no better. Kitchen was equipped with everything you could think of to prepare a nice meal. Waking up to a nice sunrise on the lake was such an experience. Large deck with great views. Grill and Firepit is available along with paddle boat etc. I also loved how they had a guestbook available with everything you should know such as house expectations to local attractions etc. I would recommend to my co workers, family, and friends to have such an experience. I am very grateful for my weekend anniversary get away!

I would recommend this space and I would stay here again myself! Leslie was so accommodating and responsive when I had any questions. It was a safe place, had everything we needed, and was overall a nice place to stay - very good distance to everything.

The house was spotless, and the kitchen was well stocked with everything possibly needed to cook or prepare meals. The neighborhood was quiet and peaceful, and we enjoyed relaxing on the back porch and listening to nothing but birds singing. The bed we used was comfortable, and the shower in the master bathroom was beautiful and very well constructed. We had a very nice, relaxing stay.

This home was Absolutely Amazing. Very peaceful, and was great for our family gathering. Local Butcher Shop was outstanding and everything we needed was conveniently located. Ashley was an exceptional host by providing clear instructions and information needed. Highly Recommend.

We loved the openness and comfort of the home! Everything was fresh and new! It was a convenient location near our nephew's wedding venue. The snacks and refreshments were enjoyed by our group, too! Our 95 year old mother was quite impressed with the cleanliness! She even noticed that there was no dust on the bedside lampshade! :-) My daughter and her husband slept on the loft bed. They were young enough to enjoy the climb up the ladder! We really enjoyed opening up all the curtains and looking out on the lake. If the weather had been warmer, we would have definitely kayaked! Thank you for a fabulous stay!

We had a very nice stay! The log-home construction and theme was very nice and unique for the area and the home was comfortable, roomy and thoughtfully designed, featuring high quality newer appliances and modern finishes that gave it a fresh, welcoming feel. The lake view was nice with plenty of bird sightings right outside the window. The house was well-stocked with most everything we needed, which made our stay even more convenient and enjoyable. While there is a high-speed road nearby, the noise was minimal with the windows closed and didn’t detract from the overall experience. Close to many grocery stores and restaurants in the Hillsdale and Jonesville area. Lisa was fantastic to work with—friendly, responsive, and made everything incredibly smooth from start to finish. Highly recommend!
