This is our third time at The Blissful Bear and will not be our last ! Our goal was to relax and enjoy the beauty and serenity of the cabin and we did just that . The cabin is definitely a home away from home . Amenities are always stellar ! And our favorite part is always the tree house and having fires out there while drinking wine and toasting hotdogs ! And I was over the moon when I walked in and saw the Christmas tree all lit up as I love Christmas and all the decorations . This place will meet your every need and then some ! Thank you Ed and Carrie for again sharing your beautiful cabin with us !

Our family of 6 absolutely loved this cabin! It was the perfect getaway for us. The location was secluded but still close enough to the necessities. Everything was very clean, and the amenities were perfect. I (and my kids) loved that every bedroom had a smart TV! The loft was a big hit, too! My husband and I agreed that this cabin was one of the best Air BnBs we’ve stayed in. Would love to return!

5 of my friends and I stayed at this beautiful cabin for just a few days to recover from finals week and working St Pat’s in Savannah. The house is absolutely stunning, and the view even more so. If you can wake up early enough to catch a sunrise, do it no questions asked. The birds and wildlife in the area are very active and seeing them in the yard reminded me of living in my childhood home. The hike to the lake is definitely a challenging adventure, but totally worth it if the incline doesn’t intimidate you. The streams and mini waterfalls leading down act as a perfect guide when the trail ends. The hosts are lovely, Winston is supremely helpful and even hopped on FaceTime with me to help with the hot tub, as the power supply had reset before our arrival. He recommended the local restaurant Butcher and Bottle, which was equally as phenomenal, live music and delicious food and cocktails. The only issue was our door dasher being sent to the wrong location, so be wary about that. 10/10

Valerie's house is very private and quiet. It's tucked back in the woods in a farming community. The house is clean and comfortable. We had our dog with us and he loved exploring the woods around the cabin. We saw lots of critters -- deer, rabbits and a possum.

We really enjoyed our stay at Misty Mountain Trailside Retreat cabin. We've vacationed in the area several times but the cabin we've stayed at in the past isn't pet friendly and we wanted to bring our two little pups with us. I can't speak for all of Misty Mountain's cabins but the Trailside Retreat cabin is pet friendly. The only thing I will caution people about is the loft. If you have mobility issues, small dogs, or senior dogs, use caution when going up the stairs. The stairs are narrow and steep to maximize cabin space and they are open back so a small pet could potentially fall while going up them. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and we will be visiting Misty Mountain cabins again.

This home was beautiful and spacious. It was perfect. My kids loved the little dedicated room/closet, this room had a view of the deck where the chickens and Mr. Gregory came to visit daily. I loved the kitchen, very fun decor. I would definitely recommend. She was lovely, respectful and attentive.

We stayed at Terrie’s place for our honeymoon & had a wonderful trip. The place is beautiful & serene & was exactly as described & super clean. Terrie was easy to communicate with & very quick to respond even though she was on vacation herself! She even offered a late checkout knowing there wasn’t anyone renting right after us. Such a sweetheart! Everything was a breeze from start to finish. Highly recommend!

Our stay at the cabin was comfortable and relaxing. The home was kept very clean and the atmosphere was serene and peaceful. Joseph was attentive with communication and gave great suggestions on local restaurants and activities. Amicalola Falls State Park is a close drive from the cabin and a beautiful waterfall to visit. Overall, my weekend stay with my family was a great experience. Very comfortable for pets too. Toiletries were provided and the home was stocked with basic needs and appliances if you want to stay in and cook. I would love to come back and stay there again.

Kimberly was very helpful and responsive. The Villa was perfect and close proximity to downtown Jasper. The community was gorgeous and well maintained. Thank you Kimberly for all of the help before and during our stay!
