This gorgeous home did not miss the mark! They thought of everything!! I very rarely sleep well when out of town and usually miss my own bed. Not here. EVERY bed was so comfortable and so cozy with all the blankets and pillows and throws. The home was well stocked and very well decorated. I felt a sense of belonging and peace in this gorgeous little space. Such a shame it is for sale! I'd love to return. 🫶

The Shed was absolutely darling and perfect for a weekend getaway with my family. The fire pit and hot tub elevated our stay and helped us relax after a long day exploring Helen. We had everything we needed inside and even discovered a new card game we loved from the stock available. We enjoyed the decor and everything was very clean. The beds were the most comfortable I’ve ever slept in. The host had very clear communication with thorough instructions for check in and check out which gave us the opportunity to enjoy the weekend instead of getting lost in the details. We even saw a few deer and owls outside. Absolutely would recommend anyone looking to have a nice, laid back, quiet vacation to stay here!

Awesome location and a beautiful piece of land, the house was everything he said it would be and more. Great house , beautiful spot with lots of privacy , peaceful, scenic spot that overlooked the hills in the background. The bedrooms were very comfortable and the furniture was equally so...We'll definitely return.

Wonderful get away for two or even one looking for beauty and peacefulness in this beautiful tree nest. Luxurious bed, bath, and house amenities much appreciated. The Big Canoe community trails and beauty really is worth experiencing.

We booked Mark’s place for a trip to the Atlanta area to see friends. The home was quiet, peaceful and clean. Mark was very responsive and went out of his way to make sure we had everything we needed. Would definitely stay again!

Our stay at the Creekside Cabin was everything we were hoping for - natural, private, and serene. We made use of every amenity and the creek and swaying trees made it feel magical. We sat in the hot tub every night, took afternoon naps in the hammock, fires by moonlight, and brunch under the trees. The home offered everything we needed and was a great jumping off point for hiking, biking, and fishing in the area. Our big dog had plenty of room to run after a ball the whole weekend and we even spent a little time with wet feet in the creek. With a super comfy bed and the quietest nights, I don't think we've ever slept better. 10/10 would recommend creekside cabin for the relaxation and nature that you need.

We stayed at Amy's place for a girls' weekend book retreat, and it was exactly what we wanted! The view from the porch was beautiful, and it has a sunset view, which was such a nice way to end our day. The space was clean with various places to lounge and hang out, and this slice of heaven provided a place to relax for 4 tired mamas!

My family and I had a great time kicking off Spring Break at the cabin! We took the kayaks out, lounged in the hammock, and stayed cozy by the fire pit while making s’mores. The beds were super comfortable, and we spent hours playing the Pac-Man game—so much fun!

There are super hosts and then there’s Chris. The house was great! The hot tub on the deck was a nightly endeavor. The game room was our place to chill with a great TV, ping pong table and a console arcade game with what seemed like 50+ choices. All that said what set this place on a level all by itself was the host…Chris!

SUCH a beautiful home! We had the most wonderful time. The hosts were super communicative, kind, and helpful. And the home was more beautiful in person!!! Would recommend!!!!

We stayed here five years ago on our honeymoon, so we decided this year for our anniversary, we were going to stay here again. It was lovely, just like last time - the fireplace is so nice, the kitchen is quite well stocked for an AirBNB (we've seen some bad ones, and we've always been able to cook easily in this kitchen!), and there are plenty of extra blankets should you need them. Our son liked the game room downstairs, and there's plenty of room to let our dog play. There are DVDs and an HDMI cable. Had it been warmer, we'd have loved using the fire pit, too. Plenty of room, and the binder full of things to do is a nice touch (and so is the hiding game!). Do note: the grocery store is a solid twenty minutes away, so it's not a quick run down the street. Highly recommend planning on one big grocery run should you need to. There are usually miscellaneous basic spices and such in the cupboard. There is also not a first aid kit as far as we could tell. Highly recommend!

What a wonderful oasis in the foot hills of northern Georgia. We could not have asked for a better quick getaway weekend retreat. The only thing that would have made our stay better was more time. We enjoyed lounging on the large deck warming to the fire pit after our round of golf on 1 of 3 beautiful 9 hole course. We also appreciated the recommendation by our host to eat at "Home" the restaurant right outside the gates of Big Canoe. The staff was really accommodating and the food was outstanding. Other activities not to miss include fishing on the lake and catching the Amicolola falls about a 25 minute drive away. The house was spacious and well appointed in a very peaceful setting. Frank was accommodating and very responsive throughout our stay. We look forward to returning some time in the future!

We stayed for a girl weekend in the Gold Mine Cabin and it was perfect. The cabin was well stocked with nessesities and was just exactly as expected from the description and photos. The location was close to a wonderful winery and downtown but also seperate enough to enjoy some peace. Crystal was full of recommendations and very responsive! We had a great stay!

We stayed at Blue Door while on a business trip, on our time off explored the downtown area several of the days. We were pleasantly surprised by this home, it was much better than we anticipated. Kim, the host was very responsive, helpful, and thought of everything that one may want while staying at the home. It was extremely sanitary and every room including the bathroom was thoroughly cleaned upon arrival. The neighborhood is safe, conveniently located, and the downtown area is so quaint. We had every amenity while we were at the home and everything that was needed to enjoy our stay. Kim really thought of everything! We are use to cooking homemade meals, so having a fully stocked kitchen with nice, cookware, dishes, utensils, etc. was definitely a huge plus. Linens were fresh, clean, and smelled great. We will definitely be back when we have more time to enjoy the small town of Dahlonega, maybe Christmas, as we hear it is spectacular place to be. Thanks Kim!

It was dark and rainy when we arrived late at night so it was difficult to find the driveway. But once we got to the cabin it was adorable! This place is beautifully decorated and had all the necessary items. We especially enjoyed the fresh coffee beans and drip method for a relaxing start to the day. The host was very responsive when it was too dark for us to see that first night and was immediately helpful. I had a little trouble making a correction to my dates after I’d made the reservation. The reservation was strict to no fewer than three nights on the week we booked. I must’ve overlooked that detail so was surprised by that. While the host still required three nights, they did accommodate moving the date one night forward. I appreciated that. Adorable cabin. Highly Recommend.

The cabin was better than we imagined! I would go back many times! The lake and the accessories for being on the water were great! All the kitchen utensils were perfect! Everything was very clean! It definitely deserves 5 stars!

Great place. Very relaxing after having business meetings in the ATL metro area all week. Will definitely be back when I am in the area again.

This place was GREAT for our long weekend! We could have stayed and never left the cabin and been just fine. The location is great. We ventured to Dahlonega and Helen during our stay. The cabin is funky and fun, lots of great touches to help you feel at home! My kiddo loved the bright colors, the board games, and the smores pack that greeted us. The drive way is a bumpy dirt road, but totally worth it- secluded and quiet just as described! We will definitely be back!

My family really enjoyed the character of this place… a real log home with lots of land to roam. The steps to the loft are pretty steep, so those with mobility issues may have a difficult time, but my husband and myself LOVED the loft area. Ben gave us specific instructions before arriving, was available during the ride and he was waiting on us when we got there. This is top notch service! We would definitely go back to enjoy this quaint getaway.

I stay in a lot of airbnbs and this was a favorite for me! Monica was an exceptional host with lots of little items that made a big difference Toothbrush was a big win because my son forgot his! Fishing rods since we didn’t have ours. Honestly there was so much thoughtfulness I can’t list them all! House is small but perfect for 3-4 people. Fire pit was great and the river is private and BEAUTIFUL. I enjoyed the 5 minute walk through the woods. Bed was comfortable. Shower nice. Everything new and clean. We didn’t use the downstairs but maybe next time! We would love to get back here again some time.

The cabin was great! It had everything we needed for our stay. If you are a light sleeper, you might bring some ear plugs as the wall unit for the heat/ac is pretty loud. The tasting room was only a few short steps away which was super convenient, the wines were delicious, and Macy and Whitney were the BEST! We had our dog with us and she was welcomed inside and given many pets and treats, and Buddy the winery dog was the goodest boy!

Gina was super helpful and responsive. This was a very last minute booking but even still the home was clean and ready for our arrival! Perfect fit for our family of 5. Loved the coziness of the house and the peaceful “backyard” with a path down by the river for exploring. We felt very safe and found lots of great hikes nearby. The only thing I would say is that my Google maps tried to take me to a different house a little further up the hill. Thankfully, we just kept going and were easily able to see the correct address number clearly once we got to the bottom of the drive. Thanks so much for a wonderful stay!

It was a lovely couple of weeks showing friends and family Gibbs Gardens. Russell and Paula were very nice to work with and were very responsive with any questions. It was cool and rainy at times and there was ample firewood for warmth and ambience!
