We had a fantastic stay! Our host, Joe, was wonderful—he made the check-in and check-out process incredibly easy and provided everything we needed. The home itself was perfect, stocked with all the amenities we could ask for. A thoughtful touch was the $10 gift card he left for a local restaurant—such a nice surprise! The big beds were extremely comfortable, and while the bunk beds weren’t as comfy for adults, they’d likely be perfect for kids. The sunrise view was absolutely breathtaking, and the cozy living room, complete with comfortable furniture and a fireplace, made for the perfect relaxing atmosphere. The whole place had such a great vibe—we’d definitely stay here again!

This house was perfect for our family. It was extremely well appointed, was very spacious and it had extremely clean spaces. The view in the back off of the deck was very serene and soothing. It was located near several great restaurants and coffee shops. Denise was extremely kind and responsive during our stay ad well. I would recommend this Airbnb to anyone traveling to the area very highly.

We had a wonderful stay at this Airbnb. It can sometimes be hard to feel cozy in a rental, but the furniture here was incredibly comfortable, making it easy to settle in. The riverside location was a dream. We set up chairs by the fence and spent a lot of time just relaxing and watching the incredible variety of waterfowl. The place was spotless, and the huge cozy bathtub was such a treat. I was so excited to use it that I even bought bath fizzies, and it did not disappoint. The entire experience was restful and exactly what we needed. Rebecca was an amazing host. She went above and beyond to accommodate an early check-in for us, which we truly appreciated. Her hospitality, combined with such a fantastic property, made our stay perfect. We would absolutely stay here again.

Great family run resort. Perfect size and very welcoming. It’s quaint and very much has a small town feel. It was perfect for our big group of 9! Nice deck/grill/view of the lake.

Our family was very comfortable and enjoyed our stay very much. It goes without saying that the kids and the adults loved the pool. We stayed during an extreme cold snap and the house and pool area were toasty warm throughout our stay. We hope to have a future visit at some point. Great memories here!

We had a great stay!! The house was perfect for the five of us and our dog, with enough space for all of us to feel comfortable. The bathrooms were clean and the kitchen was well stocked. The pool was the best part! Melissa was super prompt when it seemed like the heat to the pool wasn’t running and we were back in there in no time - the heated water was perfect for this fall weather! We also tried some of the recommended spots and overall, this was exactly the quick getaway we needed!

Tiffany is an amazing host. Anytime I had questions she was quick to respond with helpful solutions. Her home is a spacious, clean and comfortable living space that put my family at ease. Would definitely stay here again.

The house was very nice and as expected with the pictures. We enjoyed their backyard with the pool and especially the garage with the large table sitting 8 people. Check in was very easy and they were very quick to respond to any questions we had. Would love to stay again.

We had a great 2 day stay. Took the paddle boat out both days to fish. Grilled out and used the hot tub. Everything was clean and lots of amenities. Will definitely stay again. Also the bed was so comfortable!

The location was great, the home was cozy and clean, and George was always available to answer any questions.

The place was beautiful and everything we wanted for a quiet weekend with family and friends. When we drove up it was hard to find the place because there was no sign with the address posted anywhere. It was getting dark when we got there so we had a hard time finding the entry. There were not enough dish rags and cooking utensils provided by the host, so we had to go buy additional that we needed for the weekend. The property should be updated with additional security measures for the patio railings. We did not make much of use of the patio because we were concerned that our dog could fall off of the low bench that was in place of the railing, and it was overlooking the ground floor patio. Access to the beach in the instruction was very close, only an 8-minute walk, however, there were some very steep stairs going down to the beach. We took the alternate route to the beach the next day, which was better. Overall a good experience.

This was the best Airbnb I've stayed at. The home was fully decorated and furnished. A real home. Not stark and cold like many airbnbs. The bedroom was cozy and the bed comfy with nice linens. Lots of lamps for warm lighting. The kitchen had everything a normal home would have. The fact that Julie lives down the street gave me an added sense of security. I wish I could have stayed longer.

Lence’s house was perfect for us while we were in town visiting with family. There were 9 of us, and the way the bedrooms were set up allowed for plenty of privacy. Everything was clean and new feeling. We have stayed in several houses in Culver over the years and this has been one of the nicest we have stayed at. We will definitely try to stay here next time we are in town.

Area: secluded, yet within a quick drive to the city center of Valpo. This area of Indiana is great for its proximity to the Lake Michigan southern shoreline as well as Chicago. You can drive up to one of the South Shore line train stations and take the train in to Chicago to save yourself the headache of driving in the city. House: A beautiful property with view of the lake. Updated amenities, great dual shower in the master bedroom, and large with multiple bedrooms. Visiting from the noise and crowds of Manhattan, this quiet and peaceful property was a welcome respite. Host: Daniel was one of the most responsive hosts I’ve had the pleasure of working with. For example, he reached out to me to let me know the food I had ordered had been delivered to a neighbor’s house, and even let my local parents come grab a suit that I had left in the closet after a hasty departure to the airport. Can’t recommend highly enough!

It had everything we needed for the short time we were there. Host was very friendly and communicative.
