This location is absolutely spectacular! The rooms were impeccably clean, thoughtfully designed, and radiated a calming wellness vibe. The highlight for me was the private deck overlooking a serene babbling brook – the perfect spot to unwind. The natural wood hot tub was a dream, with no chemical smell, making it even more enjoyable. This stay felt like a true retreat, and I’m already looking forward to my next visit. Thank you for such a wonderful experience!

Lovely place! Such a great getaway among the trees. I really enjoyed my stay. I highly recommend. A couple things to note: The market just down the street is great for snacks, essentials you may have forgotten and firewood. The internet was not the best - fine for watching a bit of streaming but I would not recommend planning to do a bunch of zoom meetings. There are neighbors, but the way the house is set up, it feels very private.

My husband and I stayed here during our recent honeymoon road trip through northern California. The property is gorgeous and we enjoyed the treehouse, hammock, homemade breakfast, and toiletries in the shower.

I fell in love with Sea Ranch and my time there was so peaceful. Such a special place to be, surrounded by nature in a comfortable, cozy home. It was beyond my expectation. Hope to return soon.

This exceeded my expectations- everything was meticulously chosen and designed to feel cozy and welcoming but also truly interesting and engaging. The art, books/games, music, decor all drew in my curiosity. The beds were soooo comfortable. Views were stunning and there were several options to sit and take in the sunset. We had no issues finding the property, following instructions for home appliances, etc. We literally had zero issues with our stay. My only disappointment was not staying longer! Thank you!

Downstairs has a very modern look and is well furnished. Upstairs could use a bit of an update. Stairs are very steep. No curtains downstairs kind of lessens privacy. Other than that, very nice in good area.

Exceeded my expectations...perfect cozy private getaway...was visited by tuxedo kitty..loved the animals...will visit again soon.

The house was perfect getaway for a relaxing spring break with my two tween kids and dog. It's definitely a place you want to cozy up in and read a book when it rains. It was decorated beautifully. The master bedroom was great, best night sleep and the little hidden loft was great for my kids. Did not miss having a TV, loved the record player and it offered us time to disconnect and play a lot of board games. However, wifi was strong when the kids did want to play/watch things on their tablets. Scenery around the house is stunning and it's close by the Sea Ranch Lodge if we wanted to go out for breakfast or dinner. Not too far from Stewarts Point General Store as well which was a cute spot. My kids loved the place so much they asked if we could move there!

This is hands-down the best Airbnb experience I’ve ever had. From the get-go, Renee was proactive with her communications, flexible, and responsive. After booking, I had a concern that the space might not get warm enough with only a wood-burning stove (boy was I wrong!). When I expressed this concern, She was willing to work with me. When I got there, it was absolutely stunning, private, nestled in the redwoods in one of the most beautiful places in northern California! It was not too far a drive to the coastline or into town to Mendocino. The space feels somehow both cozy and totally spacious. It feels much less like a cabin and more like a fully stocked, fully furnished apartment with comfortable and beautiful furniture. And yet it’s still nestled in the comfort of the woods and has a rustic feel about it. I cannot recommend this place highly enough, and am sending the listing to all of my friends.

Amazing Cabin. Peter is extremely friendly and suggested lots to do. I picked the cabin because we really just wanted to relax/disconnect somewhere beautiful-not feel pressured to do too much since we already live in San Francisco- and this place did not disappoint. The place is even cuter in person, lots of natural light and so many beautiful interior details. It’s got old rustic charm but also all the amenities. The wood burning stove was cozy. Sooo many stars at night that you can gaze at from bed! I’m rambling at this point. This place was awesome. Thank you Peter!

Our stay at Kaity’s place was great and relaxing. The cabin is beautiful and so are its surroundings. We even had a small group of deer pay us a visit one morning. She was very responsive and made sure we felt welcome and comfortable. We would definitely come back in the future.

Zendo was a dream. Cabin/glamping at its best. Large house and I woke up in the midst of the forest with lushes greenery. Also that bed was so comfortable!!!!! WiFi worked well, the host had the sweetest gift basket for us when we arrived. It truly was a house of Zen. We drank coffee, made smores by the fireplace (they include the wood and all), read, relaxed and admired all the windows 🪟 and the greenery. Amazing this was real life and not a green screen. The hospitality, the host helped us with parking and we arrived late in the rain. Thank you ZENDO for an incredible weekend!

Great place, felt right at home, comfortable, with a well built kitchen with lots of equipment and a retro feel & excellent quality appliances. For a winter stay it was peaceful, private and comfortable, a great quick getaway from the Bay Area; in the summer there would be a lot of closeby activities. Judy is a very responsive host and answered questions right away. I highly recommend it.

We loved staying at Melinh’s spot! So restful and the sound of the rain on the roof was magical. With the fire going, we were in a storybook. Can’t wait to go back!

We loved staying at Noah and Joe's place! The place was beautiful and surrounded by nature. The cabin was very clean and it included all the services listed in the description. It is pet friendly and we were able to bring our cats with us. They loved it as well, chasing birds and playing in the trees. The place also has public pools that are very clean with clear water. Joe was very friendly and always willing to help. I highly recommend this place if you want to spend some time relaxing and in contact with nature.

This is a very nice, and well organized house right on the lake with it's own private dock. Loved the carport and quiet setting. Easy access to town and the surrounding area. A perfect place for a country get-a-way.

Bass fisherman perspective. Host was flexible on where I could park my truck and boat. Getting back out was a little tricky in the morning so I recommend turning around when you get there so departing in the morning in the dark is easy. Host also has outlets available for charging boat batteries. Now onto the actual place. Simple and clean one bed room unit with clean bathroom and warm water. Internet available along with smart tv with fireTV installed. No complaints at all.

A very peaceful house in a quiet little mountain town—a perfect place to relax and detach from a busy urban life. The house had everything needed to cook a meal, get a good night’s sleep, and unwind in front of the fireplace. The highlight was the creek at the entrance of the house, which runs beneath it. At night, you could light it up with LED lights for an even more magical effect. I can still hear the soothing sound of the creek in my ears. Eric and Pi are fantastic hosts—very responsive, helpful, and flexible. We loved the place!

Probably the most well stocked kitchen I have ever experienced at an Airbnb. This place truly has everything you need to be a home away from home and more. My kids loved the sea ranch kids park near shell beach. The hosts we're extremely kind and responsive, even on Christmas day for our arrival. We would definitely stay here again.

We are so glad we found Heather and her rustic cabins, it’s the only place to stay when visiting Lake Pillsbury. Such a unique location with a fascinating history, a much needed break from the city life. Our cabin had plenty of room for 2 adults and 2 children, was spotless with very comfortable beds! The shared kitchen had everything you could possibly need We spent 4 days relaxing at the private pound, taking bike rides down the winding roads, stargazing, and exploring the trails. Heather checked in with us daily and was able to share the history of her land and the cabins. A beautiful location that everyone needs to visit!

Our stay at Andiron was unbelievably magical! My only wish is that we had discovered this gem sooner. Madeline was such a warm and welcoming host, and the place was not only impeccably maintained but also absolutely adorable. We’ll definitely be back. Thank you, Madeline!

We couldn’t recommend Richard & Diane’s place more highly! Truly one of the most cozy, charming, and beautiful places we’ve ever stayed. We were blown away by all of the handmade and thoughtful pieces/touches that Richard created in the cabin - the cabin itself is a work of art, let alone his sculptures on the property! The outdoor shower is better than we could have pictured. And those robes! Diane was the perfect host - she was incredibly warm and made the home extra special for us for Valentine’s Day. Thank you!! The home had everything we needed - it was hard to leave! Though it’s worth mentioning that we came to the area to go mountain biking, forage for mushrooms in Jackson, and explore Mendocino. Such a great spot to do all of these things, as well!

Great quiet spot on Albion Ridge with tranquil forest surrounding. Ladder to the upstairs bed, but there’s also a futon bed downstairs for those who would struggle with a ladder. Kitchen equipped with the basics. Very responsive and friendly host!
