Paul's place at Beautiful Crystal Lake was everything I hoped for. Not only was the cottage perfect, it was in a great location on the lake. I spent summers at Crystal Lake growing up and this was the perfect place to visit this beautiful place again! Paul was very responsive and helpful when I had a few questions. There was a magnetic on the fridge with info about pontoon boat rentals and I cannot say enough great things about this company! Thank you for a wonderful stay Paul! I would love to come back!

The home was amazing for us and the dogs. The addition of the boat dock out the back yard was very helpful since we didn’t need to launch our boat each day. The firepit and complimentary fire wood was a great additional touch. Would love to stay again!

Me and the boys had bachelor weekend at Jason’s house! The pictures still don’t explain the full picture, the house is simply GORGEOUS. I will recommend Jason’s house to friends and family and will be back anytime I visit TC! Thank you Jason for letting us use your home.

Jennifer-- I would give you all 10 stars if that was an option! The pictures and description does not do it justice. It is far superior to a place I stayed earlier in the summer--no comparison! We loved the welcome basket and all the thoughtful extras. Too bad it was too windy for a bonfire and smores Sat night. I only wish we had a longer stay to do all we wanted. Thanks for having the canoe and kayaks available. You were super responsive and helpful with any contact or needs. Thank you for being a true Super Host! This place was amazing and you were a great host!! We absolutely love it and it helped make our wedding weekend absolutely perfect.. the only bad thing about it was the bar and some of the parking but it was amazing!!

Out in what I would consider the country, far away from the commotion of the bigger cities to relax, rewind and stargaze but close enough if you need to grab goods or want to do some exploring. No need to worry about bringing anything for the kitchen besides food to cook and maybe spices if you have certain ones you use, fully stocked with anything you could need to cook inside, bbq or even bake(from what I could tell) Heat works great although the bedroom near the bathroom was colder but not an issue since we didn’t need two bedrooms, heated fan in bathroom was a MAJOR plus. Boyfriend was able to catch some bass and pike off the pier, unfortunately didn’t get to take the little trolling boat out but I’m sure we would have had a blast catching more fish. Witnessed a Bald Eagle over the lake from the living room! Highlight of the stay was getting to experience the Auroras and SAR with our naked eyes!!

The Mangy Moose is the place to be! John has thought of everything! We came over our spring break (March) for fishing, so we didn't get to use all the summer amenities... But we enjoyed the beautiful kitchen (for yummy home cooked meals), awesome large dining table (for meals and games), large tv with lots of channels, beautiful fireplace, hot tub, and the kids LOVED the club house. Plus the 4-bed & 4-bath setup was perfect to blend (2) families together for a very comfortable stay for 9 people (total) for the week. This place is a true gem and we are already talking about next year!

The place was a perfect stay for our day of golf at Arcadia. Hosts were great and responded quickly with anything we need. Including checking on things we potentially left behind. They could not have been more spot on referring us to Grille 44 for drinks and dinner, walkable if you’re up for it. 10/10 would stay here again!

We have stayed here before. It was great just like last time. We had one issue but Rachel was super responsive and it was quickly resolved.

The house was extremely comfortable, clean and had everything we could ever need. Hands down the most well maintained property we have ever rented. Paul has thought of absolutely everything! The spot on the lake is beautiful with crystal clear water and a sandy, shallow bottom perfect for swimming. We were able to make use of all the outdoor activities including kayaks, stand up paddle boards, rafts, and outdoor games. After the sun set the fun continued at the large beautiful sunken fire pit. The deck overlooking the lake was a great spot for family dinner or morning coffee. If you are an early riser the sunrises from the deck are picture perfect. The house and the property exceeded all expectations!

Beautiful, updated home, great outdoor setting and views of Big Platte. House was clean, and tidy. Nicely stocked. Host was very responsive and kind. The patio is large and has several seating options. The location is ideal and central to many other towns and beaches. Wish we could have stayed longer!

If you like rustic charm with modern amenities, this is your place! We recently spent a week at the chalet and absolutely loved it. The whole property is beautiful and well-maintained. The landscaping has clearly been a labor of love over the years. The grounds and especially the lakeside are stunning and Ron and Noreen did it all themselves. So much was in bloom -the colors were fantastic. As far as the chalet, they have thought of everything and we could have easily packed less....we will next time! Having a full kitchen was great, the place was spotless and the views of the lake very relaxing. We also really enjoyed sitting out on the deck, swimming and kayaking. The pictures online are exactly what the chalet looks like. We were very pleased. Thanks Ron & Noreen!

We so enjoyed our family trip here! It felt like a tree house upstairs looking out to trees and the lake. It was a cozy family room area. We had a great time kayaking in big Sanford lake. It was so peaceful on the weekdays we were there. Sometimes we were the only kayakers. It was close to Traverse City and we checked out Frankfort and Crystal Mountain too. Overall would recommend!
