My boyfriend and I stayed for a long weekend and loved the cozy cabin! It was the perfect size and had all the accommodations we needed! The hot tub was also a great addition! Fritz was very responsive and kind! 10/10 recommend staying here for your next weekend getaway!

I went here to celebrate my anniversary and surprise my husband, even knowing we were going to a cabin; the Escape team helped me prepare a wonderful surprise for him; the little cabin is so romantic and private. We had a great relaxing time and had some lovely visitors (horses, cows, and goats) that were peaceful, and they made our experience more fun and fabulous.

Book it! You will NOT regret it. Pictures do not do it justice! Brandon's home is beautiful and inviting. The area is so peaceful. We enjoyed the hot tub, heated pool, and sitting at the fire pit by the river. The master room bed was the most comfortable bed I have ever slept in. The kitchen was well stocked. The laundry area was stocked as well. We cannot say enough great things about the place, but we will be booking again. We have rented many airbnbs, but this is by far our favorite!

Great experience with my nieces, mother and my furry one! They loved the hot tub and my nieces learned what a DVD is ! :)

Julia's place was beautiful and serene. It was truly so peaceful to sit out on the porch and see the mountains. Be prepared to drive to the location with 4WD, it's a steep incline and decline to get to the cabin!

Clean, comfortable, and well-furnished space with great amenities. Hot tub and fire pit were both excellent and easy to use. Really enjoyed the stay!

I would highly recommend this property for a peaceful getaway weekend! The cabin itself is bright and beautiful and the host was incredibly responsive. Stargazing in the hot tub was absolutely the highlight!

We had a fantastic stay at this cabin in the Shenandoah Mountains! The cabin was spotless and well-maintained, making it a comfortable retreat after long days of exploring. Communication with the owners was excellent—they were responsive, helpful, and made sure we had everything we needed. The kitchen was well-stocked with plenty of cooking supplies and utensils, which made meal prep easy and convenient. The large dining room table was perfect for gathering together for meals. The bunk room was also a great feature, providing plenty of space and comfort. One of our favorite parts was the fireplace—it made the cabin feel extra cozy, especially in the evenings. While the cabin didn’t have direct mountain views, the scenery was still beautiful, and the mountains were just a short drive away. The hiking in the area was incredible, with plenty of trails nearby to explore. We also took a drive along Skyline Drive, stopping at several overlooks for breathtaking views and additional hiking o

The place was very clean and the view was wonderful! There were also lots of entertainment options- Ms. Pac-Man, pool, cornhole. The old cabin on the property was also a really nice feature. It was conveniently located just up the road from the Kennedy Peak Trailhead. There was some confusion regarding an amenity but Jan was very responsive and quickly made things right. My only regret is that we didn’t get a chance to visit the private river spot.

We enjoyed the simplicity and peaceful atmosphere. Some information was confusing as to what was included or not (like the information before the stay vs during the stay), but in the end, we pleasantly welcomed with a perfect s’mores kit, firewood and tea & coffee. There is no WiFi or TV and we didn’t really miss it. We enjoyed the outdoors and a fun card game.

This was the exact stay I was looking for. The property is beautiful and so relaxing. The Airbnb itself was exactly like the photos, clean, and cozy. The host was very friendly and responsive, and gave clear directions for everything which made the overall experience great! If you like to watch streaming services other than Netflix, definitely bring a fire stick or anything that allows you to watch what you want, but the board games, hot tub, etc, kept us entertained. I would definitely stay here again!

My family had a great time at the Naked Creek Cabin! It was just what we were looking for in a spring break getaway -- nice, clean house in a beautiful, quiet setting with a great hot tub and fantastic fire pit area, with access to Shenandoah NP and many other interesting towns/attractions. Cabin is unique and very enjoyable. Location is quiet but just off main road and nearby restaurants etc. We have stayed here five times in last three years. Always enjoyable. In the cold months we had a roaring fire in the fireplace and made smores. Dogs enjoyed it too. Private and with plenty of space for walking dogs. Highly recommend

Very much enjoyed a short but sweet stay in this cabin! Appreciated the little touches including both fireplaces being set up for use upon arrival & maps of the area being laid out on the kitchen island. This quiet, pet-friendly Airbnb was a great escape for the weekend. Thank you for having us 🙂

Gorgeous surroundings. The cabin itself is better than the pictures. It is a wonderful place to relax, unwind and enjoy nature. Bill is an excellent host. I felt very comfortable communicating with him. He left a detailed instruction booklet, complete with the story of the cabin. Reading it made me feel like I had met him in real life and had a personal connection.

We had a great stay at “The Roost”! Very cozy and inviting mountain cottage with lots to do outside. Great hiking, fishing, close to Harrisonburg for anything needed. Will absolutely rent again!

Stayed four nights. Had a fire in the fire pit each night. Wood was delivered each day. The yurt was clean and spacious for the four adults. Beautiful views! So Relaxing and peaceful. Loved it!

Amazing place to stay. Ive stayed in a few other places in the shenandoah area over the years and this one tops them all. Happily would return to this haven.

True southern hospitality, a beautiful, walkable property, and a clean, cozy cabin. I am already planning my next trip/stay. It is near lots of great hiking. I highly recommend to anyone looking for a relaxing, private stay in the woods. Thank you Jen & Kris for being such amazing hosts!

We were looking for a cozy long weekend off the grid and that’s exactly what we got. The cabin was rustic but well maintained and the location remote but within arms length of civilization. Jennifer and Ian were incredibly responsive. Highly recommend — and grab firewood/fresh eggs from them if you can!

Sitting on the back porch was very relaxing. It was very quiet, only a rare passing car (like twice in two days) and distant train sound once in a while. Other than that just the sound of birds and squirrels. The walking trails are lots of fun and I enjoyed looking for quartz on the trails. We saw a possum and a pileated woodpecker. Ate dinner at Indian Oven, 20 minutes away and very tasty. Cooked other meals at the cabin, it was stocked with everything we needed. Bed was comfy, shower was great, just a wonderful place to unwind.
