Emily’s place is a magical hillside home offering clean water creek access and great privacy. Rooms are spacious and the outdoor park is great for bigger groups and families. Our small 4 people’s group felt like in a mansion. Super tall redwoods and pines surround the house giving the feeling of living in a tree house. We hope to come back in the summer!

This place was exactly as described in pictures and words! Very comfortable and full of great amenities. Quiet and wonderful surroundings. Nice hikes nearby. Can’t wait to be back!

Had a fantastic trip at Misti's place. Great communication with her. Peaceful and relaxing getaway, enjoyed all the games and utilities, especially the hot tub. Thank you for having us as your guests!

Very cozy place, perfect place to relax and enjoy some peace and quiet for a few days. Internet was a little slow, but it was still good enough for remote work (we didn't try turning video on for our meetings though). We would love to come back here, the hot tub and wood burning stove were great. Chadi was very quick to respond to any questions.

We appreciate the opportunity to stay at your cabin. We thoroughly enjoyed our time there and found the location very convenient for accessing Sugar Bowl. You and your team are quick to respond to any messages or calls. The kids had a lot of fun playing upstairs while the adults enjoyed conversations downstairs. The cabin is very clean and was warm upon entering. We will defiantly stay here again. Thank you for the snacks.

My family and I love to stay in this house, it is close to the freeway that take you to Lake Tahoe, and you have everything you need close by ( safe way, Starbucks). This is a lovely place and it worth every single penny 👍👍👍👍

Came to visit family for a memorial for my cousin and this house was right down the street from where my mom is at. We spent a majority of our time with family but all couldn’t wait to come back here. It felt like a home away from home but with more scenery and beautiful sunrises and sunsets. It was truly worth every penny and Ryan checked in on us to make sure everything was ship shape while we were there. I definitely would come back and stay here again!

One of the best and most beautiful Airbnb’s I’ve ever stayed in! The property had the most adorable and friendly animals and the house was comfortable and spotless. Kitchen very well stocked, plenty of towels, and comfortable spaces to relax and sleep. Perfect spot for sneaking into the mountains to ski for the day. Hosts were very helpful and made our stay wonderful! Highly recommend

The workshop is perfect! Every fine detail was thought of from the vintage decor to the extra special personal touches. We had everything we needed and more. The garden is beautifully cared for and the interior of cabin looks like it should be in a movie. Gail was thoughtful enough to personalize our welcome and provided extras such as snacks, tea, and coffee. We were cozy all night from the electric fireplace. There are deliciousness restaurants within a 3 minute walk. You will not regret booking this stay.

Our experience was extraordinary! We loved the location, welcoming and clear instructions, and the space was exceptionally appointed from the design to the small touches. We loved our week at the house and hope to return in the future!

We were absolutely enchanted by our visit to the Fairy Tale Cottage! The forest is so peaceful… a refuge, really. The grounds are charming. Inside the home, Suzan has thought of everything. Just bring your toothpaste and toothbrush. Thanks again for a memorable stay!

My family and I enjoyed Madison and a Casey’s home! The living room was one big sofa sectional, so it was easy to watch movies and had a crazy comfy recliner to use too. The home is surrounded by huge trees and there’s a Mountain View from the living room, kitchen, and deck, which we enjoyed viewing with a cup of coffee. We were pleasantly surprised by the amount of snow that fell in the morning, making it such a beautiful stay! Madison was communicating with me as quick as possible answering any questions I had, which was appreciated. Finally, I loved being able to sit on the deck and use the fire pit, really awesome feature!

My dogs and I loved our recent stay at Amelia's! You can't beat this location. Downtown is just a couple blocks away with tons of cute shops, great coffee, and food. We hiked a few nearby trails, and everywhere downtown is really dog friendly. The bed is super comfy, and I thoroughly enjoyed the tub & fireplace. Amelia's place is super cozy!

Great place to stay! We wanted to stay in a nice cabin that was close enough to Tahoe, but also quiet and remote. The place is well equipped for cooking and super clean! Our dog loved running around the land near the property.

My partner and I stayed here, and the first thing we noticed and appreciated was the cleansing crystals at each corner of the cabin. The kitchen has everything you need, with the exception of a microwave which we didn’t mind. Everything was clean, the energy here was airy and light. We could see stars through the skylight in the living room, and the earthy minimalist style made it easy to relax and enjoy our time. Definitely would recommend!

Great spot for a long weekend with a few kids. The house is lovely. Great kitchen to cook for a big group and plenty of space for everyone to explore outside and along the creek!

Valerie was a great host! Every question I would’ve had was already answered. She’s very clear and understanding! She also offered many fantastic ideas for dinner in the surrounding area. You can tell that she actually cares about each guest. I’m very fortunate to have stay here. You’d be a fool to pass up on an amazing quiet little place like this, it’s a perfect escape from reality! Also my girlfriend went crazy over your banana bread so thank you extra for that!

The cabin is lovely, roomy, and great for two couples. The kitchen has most of what you might need for general cooking. The location is very tranquil, but it is a bit far from town/restaurants/groceries/etc. Bring what you need and hang out there and enjoy the space.

A friend of mine found this place for me as I was leaving my hometown to escape the toxic relationship and drug addiction. I tell you that only in the status of someone out there was like me you needed a peaceful space to be. This should be a spot we all have hard times and there’s no shame in admitting that you have been down and out. Rest assured that you’re not alone and that a place such as this would be a good spot for you to gather your thoughts and be comfortable. Timothy was super cool and flexible with me even when I didn’t know if I was gonna stay an extra night or not and if I ever find myself in a bind and I need to stay there again I would do so without hesitation. Nevada county is a special place and I’m going to be calling at home for quite some time.. I would recommend this place to anyone.

We came to Nevada City with a pack of teenage boys headed to Sugar Bowl. Jeevikasa’s house has an awesome downstairs game room with pool, air hockey, darts, refrigerator, sauna, etc. that kept the boys occupied. It was very accommodating for a large group. The adults could relax upstairs while the boys played downstairs.

I have stayed here multiple times and always have had a great experience. It’s a beautiful property with the full cabin in the woods experience. A beautiful night sky with the sound of nature. I highly recommend!

a unique little cabin, out in nature. clean and cozy! short drive from town. great view of the property from the balcony. the host was very nice and responded to us promptly and courteously. we got frequent visits from the very sassy cat. very comfortable and far enough from the beautiful, historic small town to feel like we where in nature but close enough to enjoy what the community had to offer with a short drive. we will absolutely use this space whenever we are in the area! highly recommended!
