Janis’ home on beautiful Lake Longbow was everything and more as described. She provided everything you need to get started right away on your vacation. Her home is one if not one of the best we have ever stayed. We certainly hope to make a return trip. Again many thanks! 😀

Beautiful cabin in a stunning location! My husband and I came out here for our anniversary hoping to have a weekend of snowmobiling and relaxing. The area is perfect for riding and the cabin is so well equipped and Beautiful. Would definitely recommend and come back!

I can’t say enough about how much we loved the property. It was a beautiful cabin, surrounded by the most picturesque scenery. The little beach was adorable and fun for the kids, the river/lake was perfect for newbies to the lake life. Already planning our next trip!!

We had a great time at Matt and Mindies place! Kitchen well stocked. Very close to the water. The kids loved jumping and fishing off the dock. Many spots to be gather!

I cannot say enough great things about this cottage and its hosts. The location is spectacular - nestled in a quiet and calm bay, our kids loved swimming off of the dock and enjoying the two paddle boards and two-person kayak provided by Jess. The cottage is, similarly, thoughtfully appointed with a full modern kitchen that lacks nothing. An induction range made cooking a breeze, along with a terrific BBQ. The bedrooms are very comfortable. Everywhere has a great view of the lake. Jess and her husband were remarkably responsive with questions about the area and gave us terrific suggestions. We have been coming to LOTW for 30 years at a family cottage, and this was our first time here - what a change to have a new, modern and immaculate place to live! The bunkie is large, clean and has a very comfortable mattress. The location is incredible - the quiet is astounding, punctuated only by the calls of loons. We will definitely be back - thank you Jess for a wonderful stay

Nice stay.We stayed the end of August/beginning of september. Don't forget to pack jackets because it may get a little chilly while fishing early/late hrs of the day. Caught pike, bass and small crayfish( that we released) from the dock using worms, minnows, weiners as bait. My family members were able to swim and kayak/conoe during the day. ( the water is 10 + feet deep) There was occassional boat traffic in the middle part of the lake which sent waves our direction that made me a little nervous) The house felt comfortable and was adequetly furnished and had good storage. Areas to improve: - I forgot to mention this to Joy because we brought out own, but in the shower there was no shampoo but only liquid hand soap. - One of the picture windows and the window in the dining room didn't have curtains so I covered them with sheets - Dishwasher didn't drain fully so we hand washed the dishes after the first load. Overall it was a good stay. Owner was very responsive and helpful

Pier 6 was the perfect cottage for our family! We loved everything about it! It was clean, kitchen has everything you need, lots of linens supplied as well. We used the outdoor kitchen with BBQ and Tregar everyday! It has stunning views of the water, the sunroom down at the dock is perfect for morning coffee, or to just relax. The sunsets are amazing. We all enjoyed all the activities on the water. The paddle boards, kayaks, peddle boat, lily pad that are there were well used. The grandkids and big kids had so much fun on the zip line! We enjoyed evening fires at the fire pit and tiki bar. Adelle was very prompt with any questions we had. We would recommend this cabin to,our friends, and hope to go back again!

We had a great time at this cabin. It was very clean and spacious. The dock had ample seating, and the outdoor fireplace was beautiful. The lake is rocky, as described in other reviews but we were able to enjoy with water shoes on. We will definitely be back

Cozy place for up to 8 people in a quiet neighborhood. It comes with everything you would possibly need in the kitchen, washroom and backyard, including 3 kayaks and a canoe. The access to take the kayak or canoe into the lake is through a grassy path across the street and then a few steps over rocks. It took us sometime to figure out the path as It is not marked and sits between two private properties. If you have two or more people who are strong and experienced with kayaks, it would not be any concern. Otherwise I would recommend bringing the kayak to a nearby beach with a suv or truck and access the lake from there for your own safety. Everything else worked out great. Courtney was responsive and provided a very detailed instruction upon check in.

Alexis was a wonderful host! The cabin was immaculate and our family enjoyed a peaceful weekend getaway. Would quickly recommend to anyone looking for a place to stay in the Kenora area!

It was exactly as described: beautiful, peaceful & quiet/private, and easy to find. It was easy to unload everything (no stairs) and circle drive. It was very comfortable and spacious. We loved that there was a DVD player and movies, games and our kids loved the candy bowl that was full on arrival! Fresh baked goodies greeted us when we arrived as well as homemade muffins during our stay. Fishing was great, the kids loved swimming and using the kayak. I would highly recommend staying here. Susan and Lee were the perfect hosts and so helpful and friendly.

We had a great stay at West Hawk for a weekend in March with our group of 8. It was a beautiful cabin with amazing views. The hot tub and pool table were a great addition for a winter stay and our group enjoyed the open concept living spaces with plenty of room for all of us. I would recommend bringing all food basics you need if you are planning on cooking in the space as we forgot some things. Overall would definitely come back for another stay, would love to use the dock in the summer.

Spacious, clean and cozy cabin! Hosts are EXTREMELY accomodating! We loved the large entrance - plenty of room for winter boots & hooks to hang up our gear. Wood stove was great to warm up after a day outside. Beautiful area, would definitely recommend.

We had an absolutely amazing stay. The outdoor shower was a major highlight. We spent many hours out in the canoe and the rowboat, and we didn’t see a single soul the entire time. Robert was lovely and responsive. The cabin was well stocked and clean, and the views were amazing. We brought fishing gear and caught many bass. We saw many turtles, a beaver and lots of different birds. The hike in was moderately difficult and much of it was up hill. We brought our own wagon and used the pull cart Robert supplied. Wear good shoes! It was so worth it though. We’d highly recommend this beautiful piece of paradise!

We went for Christmas and was well decorated for the season everything was lovely even some wild life came to visit everything was beautiful thank you so much for having us :)

Marni’s cottage was perfect! It was in pristine condition. The outdoor space was amazing!! Marni had lots of outdoor and indoor toys for my grandkids. They loved it! The kitchen had everything we needed. Communication was outstanding and Marni was always available for questions. We absolutely loved this cottage rental ❤️

My partner and I chose this spot to celebrate our 10th anniversary, and boy are we glad we did. Adam and Melissa were absolute gems. They were responsive, accomodating and friendly. They kindly welcomed us to use their dock to access the water with our kayaks. They even went above and beyond and gave us a tour of their gardens - upon request (which were absolutely beautiful and inspiring). The cabin was cozy and cute, the stair case is a work of art. The vibes here are so chill and welcoming. Thank you both for such a beautiful experience!
