hosts were very welcoming and friendly. the cabin was amazing and very private. a perfect getaway with a backwoods feel. the bed is comfortable and was very warm despite the cold weather. would book here again!

Beautiful home and amazing property! The house is incredible, and we especially enjoyed the views, peace, and quiet. When we had a minor problem related to the extreme cold, Rebekah responded immediately and came over to fix it within the hour even though it was right before the holiday. She was very friendly, helpful, and responsive. We definitely recommend and will be staying here again whenever we are in the area!

Would highly recommend! A very spacious spot with lots of activities and lovely surroundings. The place is very cozy with the wood burning stove and plethora of candles. Annette was very pleasant, responsive and accommodating! We had a great time playing with her dogs in the snow. We will be back!

Our family of five had a wonderful stay. Very clean and comfortable old stone farmhouse but with modern finishing and amenities. My kids particularly loved the hot tub and we had fun tootling around the local town. Only minutes away from Picton and Bloomfield among others so very convenient location.

Fantastic property with the back fields. Our dogs had a blast. Some fantastic options for food around. Had an unexpected issue during our stay that is out of their control. They were very responsive and reasonable to communicate with. Will still come back and certainly recommend to others.

Suzanne’s place is an entire guest suite attached to the house and is in a nice and peaceful place. It has many wineries nearby. Acceptable driving distance to Outlets and the Falls. Nice place to stay if you are looking for a place which is not far away from all attractions!

Our stay at the Schoolhouse was perfect! Ingrid is an incredible Airbnb host. She's invested and proactive in making your stay both comfortable and enjoyable. The Schoolhouse is immaculate and well-designed, but Ingrid also pays close attention to smaller details that enhance your stay. We loved the freshly baked bread, farm-fresh eggs, and chopped wood (for the outdoor firepit). She also provided us with endless recommendations for local restaurants and hiking trails, all within short driving distance. If you're looking for a cozy and intimate little getaway, we highly recommend it! Inside the Airbnb, you'll find loads of blankets, Netflix, a fully functional kitchen, board games, and an electric fireplace. Outside, it's located on a fully functional farm, where you can enjoy a cozy firepit and make friends with some adorable farm animals. Everything about our stay was smooth and seamless too. We were very impressed with Tim & Katie. They always responded quickly to our questions before our arrival and were very accommodating about our two medium dogs. The place was very clean and homey, and had plenty of amenities that we didn't realize we would need. They even had an extra dog dish, which was great because we forgot their water bowl! We already had arrangements to stay in May for RIT's graduation, and we're so glad we get to go back. Thank you, Tim & Katie -- we wish we had found your place years ago!

We LOVED our stay! Kelli is such a sweet and helpful host! She had farm fresh sausage and eggs waiting for us. We love watching the turkeys every morning. If you are looking for a farm quiet Very clean place to stay this is it! We will definitely be back!

Although we had a short stay, John's place was perfect. It was well heated when we got in. The area is quiet and so pretty, the tiny house was super clean and the bed was insanely comfortable. John was so helpful to us and the situation we were in - which was so considerate. I would highly recommend staying here, especially for the cost!

Very peaceful, looked exactly like thr pictures. This was my first time using air bnb for a quick vacation, and it was perfect! Ann was very friendly and responsive and the place was beautiful, clean, everything was very clear and perfect! Will definitely have to visit again! the cats were so cute, the hot tub was relaxing, and the night sky stars were beautiful with the morning sunrise. would definitely recommend!

We had a lovely stay at Lee Anne’s place. The pictures really don’t do it justice. The rooms were so comfortable! The beds were dressed with beautiful quality pillows and linens. The kitchen had all the appliances and dishes you will need to entertain a dozen people. The fireplace is positively magnificent and there was plenty of dry wood just outside the door to enjoy it. The grounds are meticulously well kept and Lee Anne’s husband Tom was a pleasure to chat with. This property in the fall is stunning but I can’t imagine any season that would not be amazing here. All in all it was an incredible week in this beautiful home and we would not hesitate to rent it again. Thank you so very much Lee Anne!

Jim and Cheryl were fantastic. We rolled in from Toronto late. The conditions were rough. When we arrived, they greeted us with big smiles and a bug furry friend. they helped us get acquainted with our 1st off grid experience. the vistas were majestic. when we were ready to set sail, Jim went to work [after tending to the farms animals > real] and plowed us out of all the drifts formed overnight. the outdoor tubs were very cool. a first for us. 10 stars

Gasport is not an overly populated place so I was thrilled to find this 4 bedroom that allowed us to stay together for the weekend. Toni was great with communication. We really enjoyed our stay. It was close to Niagara Falls and Rochester the other way. And family close by. Would rent again!!

Lori & Darren's place was perfect for our family trip to Niagara. The old farmhouse is spacious and comfortable and we felt like we were at home right away. The kitchen is well-equipped with quality equipment. The dining room is comfortable both for eating and playing games. The beds are comfy and the bathroom was spotless with a huge walk-in shower. The house is only minutes from the Niagara Parkway and a short drive to Niagara Falls, Queenston, and Niagara on the Lake. The backyard looked spectacular for outside dining and campfires but it was under a foot of snow when we were there. Communication with the hosts was easy and timely. Darren was at the house shoveling snow when we arrived and was very friendly and easygoing. We look forward to returning in the summer to hike the trails at the Niagara Gorge. Thanks Lori & Darren!

I've lost track of how many times we've enjoyed Mike and Alice's hospitality. They are fantastic hosts and I always look forward to my almost monthly visits. Both of them go out of their way to make you feel at home. Always quick to respond. Can't wait for spring when Alice's garden comes alive with colors. I'm always reluctant to give a rave review as it makes it harder to get a reservation. ;-) If you haven't figured it out yet, you won't go wrong staying with them and enjoying the peace and quiet of the country yet be close enough to plenty of restaurants etc. If you like thrifting, make sure to ask Alice about the Rescued and Restored store.

Laura, Denny, Emily and Justin were great hosts, adapting to changes in our plans, supervising family visitors for a tour of the animals, clearing and salting the snowy entryways, just being their friendly and helpful selves. The location was lovely and the house had more amenities than one could expect. We hope F House will be available next time we visit our Syracuse family.
