This was our first visit to Cedar Creek Lake to attend a wedding in Murchison. We had a wonderful long weekend. The home is beautifully decorated and everything that you need is there. The property is lovely and peaceful. We enjoyed fishing, playing cornhole and sitting around the fire pit. The bed linens and towels were top-notch and mattresses very comfortable. Michael and Patricia are very easy to work with and extremely responsive. I highly recommend this home for your next stay.

Highly recommend this property for a nice getaway and will be revisiting again myself! The amenities are as listed and everything is even nicer than the pictures! Ruby provided detailed instructions and was very responsive during our stay. This was a perfect couples weekend stay.

This house was so charming and homey! A fantastic space to unwind with family. I appreciated the higher-end furniture. The house was clean and the decor was wonderful. The house could use some updating… But that was not a problem for us because I loved the character. We loved being near the water and my family enjoyed the fishing. Nice quiet neighborhood ...we felt safe and enjoyed walking the dogs. We will be back for sure!

We planned our family vacation to Streetman and had another air bnb booked. We arrived to plumbing issues and had to quickly divert and find a new place to stay. We found this beautiful home of Kendall’s and were so appreciative of the quick response time and flexibility the host provided with us. Kendall’s home is BEAUTIFUL, peaceful, and full of every single thing you would need when vacationing. We were extremely impressed and so grateful for an accommodating host. Our two pups were in love with this spot as well. We would love to make this air bnb our annual vacation spot. Highly recommend!!

We had a wonderful time at Alberto's place. The house was clean, comfortable, and nicely decorated. My friends and I enjoyed the large back patio and beautiful lake view. It was the perfect setting for sipping vine and relaxing in east Texas. It's a lovely drive from the house to Canton, Texas to enjoy First Monday Trade Days flea market. We'd love to come back and take advantage of the kayaks when the weather's nice. :) Highly recommend this spot!

This is our 5th time staying here and it is always wonderful. We has such a great girls weekend cooking in the kitchen and sitting on the patio. Even though this time we watched more TV because it rained the whole weekend. It was still relaxing. Looked forward to next year. Thank you Joel.

We enjoyed our stay. The space was comfortable. The air conditioner worked great in this August heat. The king size bed was very comfortable. The marina was right next door. Great restaurants close in Seven Points and Gun Barrel City. Several places to fish or just enjoy the peace and quiet including the deck of the property.

Amazing rental, in pristine condition. Curvy was responsive and helpful. I highly recommend this home for family friendly accommodations.

Although we were only there to sleep for our fishing tournament the next day, our stay was very peaceful, comfortable and we felt like we were at home! We enjoyed our stay! Kevin was a life saver for letting us borrow an extension cord to charge our boat batteries! We would recommend this place if you want peace and solitude! Thank you!🥰

Condo has everything you could need and host is very responsive. Convenient to the marina/restaurant and great views over the water. This was our 2nd visit to the condo and will be returning in the future.

Loved staying at Vinny’s! My husband, son and I went for Labor Day. The Airbnb was exactly as pictured and described. Incredibly peaceful and so much fun. Our son is 2.5 so we REALLY appreciated the fencing between the house and the lake for safety reasons. The ladder to get into the lake actually was very easy to use. We brought our own kayak and life vests and were able to use them with ease. It is on the open part of the lake so not as still of water as if you lived on a channel but it was definitely fine and would have been better on a non busy weekend. Vinny, was incredibly responsive. So helpful, very proactive and we really appreciated his communication. We will definitely be back!!!! We loved this spot!

Shelle and Greg are great people. They have a beautiful place and make you feel as comfortable as possible. The place is a great get away to fish, BBQ and relax with family or friends. 5-Star Stay at the Perfect Fishing Getaway! We had an amazing stay at this cozy two-room cottage on Lake Athens! It was the perfect spot for a fishing getaway. The dock was ideal for tying up our boat, making it easy to head out early in the morning or relax on the water in the afternoon. The sunsets over the lake were absolutely stunning—something we looked forward to every night as we sat on the porch and reminisced. The kitchen was well-equipped for cooking up fresh meals, and the outdoor smoker was a fantastic bonus for preparing some delicious meals. The friendly neighbors even shared a few great fishing spots with us, which made our trip even more enjoyable. If you’re looking for a peaceful lakeside retreat with great fishing, beautiful views, and all the comforts of home, this is the place to be. We can’t wait to come back!

Additionally, we were thrilled to discover a beautiful golf course just a short drive away, which became a highlight of our trip as we took in the picturesque views while enjoying a few rounds. Every aspect of our stay added to a memorable experience filled with relaxation and fun.

This was a nice place and beautiful view. We were looking to have a place where we could just stay and not have to get out for entertainment. This house was perfect!! We fished, got out in the kayaks, sat on the porch. They have a big table in sunroom for games and puzzles. Kitchen well stocked and two bedrooms are comfortable. We would definitely stay again. Overall, a very cozy, beautiful home!!!
