This was our second stay at Rick’s place, it was great just like last time! He’s very responsive if you have any questions but his details on the property guide tell you anything and everything you need to know to have a great stay! Very clean and being able to tie your boat up to the dock over night is simply the most convenient thing that I love the most.

Highly recommend especially if you’re wanting to fish!!

We had a great stay at Joe’s place. Clean and well stocked. Nice big yard on the canal, with a small dock and a landing. Joe was very easy to communicate with and had a tasty gumbo waiting in the fridge for us when we arrived. Fun place to bring my son and a friend for a weekend getaway.

Start to finish, we had a lovely time at Stephen’s river house on the Tickfaw. The home was clean, comfy, and had everything we needed for a week stay. My husband and I really enjoyed the upstairs deck, and the giant tvs. We went fishing with the provided rods and caught a perch and a catfish. The neighbors were friendly. We loved the community - picked up fishing supplies and antiques at P’ Maw’s, and drove up to Hammond for the Saturday morning farmer’s market. Boopalu’s was our favorite eatery - we even saw a baby gator at the dock! Everywhere we went in Springfield and Killian, we got a great exposure to Louisiana’s culture. 10/10 would recommend, can’t wait to come back again.

Dock of the Bay – What a Hidden Gem! What a treat this place was for our family! This stunning waterfront property truly made our Easter weekend unforgettable. Our kids couldn’t get enough of the pool and spent every free moment fishing off the dock. The adults enjoyed relaxing under the shaded patio—perfect for afternoon naps, morning coffee, and evening cocktails, all made better with the fun karaoke setup. We also loved that the property had a boat launch, which made it easy to bring ours along. The area felt safe and peaceful, surrounded mostly by friendly local families. Stacy was an incredible host, making sure we had everything we needed—from beach towels and coffee to a grill and even pet bowls. She responded quickly to any questions we had and really helped make our stay seamless. Can’t recommend this place enough—we’ll definitely be back!

Dog friendly was our focus for our trip, and this place delivered. Potty breaks were easy and convenient. Beds were comfortable. Upstairs neighbors were very loud at all hours, but I travel with a sleep machine that cancelled our most of it. Highly recommend getting one. Parking and checking in instructions could be better but was easy to get in and out once we figured it out.

I absolutely love this place. the host was amazing and he made sure that we felt welcome. he check on us to make sure we was okay and suggested a lot of nice places for us to go around the area. I will definitely book with him again. he made my first time going to New Orleans an amazing experience.

My mother-in-law and kiddos enjoyed their stay! Maddy was an amazing host! She knew that GPS wouldn’t take them to the home so with her patience and help they were able to find it no issues! The area was quiet and serene. The pool was clean and lovely to swim in. The home itself was beautiful and clean as well! All and all it was an amazing stay and perfect for a little getaway!

What an amazing place to stay when visiting the big easy! Right on a gorgeous canal in a quiet serene part of the city. Great spots to walk the dog nearby. Good coffee shop just a couple blocks away. Street parking was easy and never hard to find during my stay. It’s a cozy space for one or two people. The bathroom was a little awkward for a big guy like me but manageable. And odd bathroom layouts are a New Orleans staple I’m told. I would definitely stay again. I’ll absolutely come back to the city again visiting for just a weekend was not enough time.

We were extremely pleased with the house and hope to stay again in the future. The house has all the charm of a craftsman style home . Just lovely!!! Beautiful location and the house had everything we needed and more. We love the Covington/Madisonville area and plan to book again on our next visit.

We had a great stay at Jayson's home. The house is very well stocked with everything you need. The layout of the house is very functional, and the deck was a great place to relax and socialize. It was so close to our planned activities. We were there for riding bikes on St. Tammany Trace and a jazz concert at the Dew Drop Jazz & Social Hall. Jayson's house is very close to the trail and is a 5–10-minute bike ride to Dew Drop.

We booked Shana’s place and to be honest it exceeded our expectations. The location is pretty rural which is what we wanted and the street it is located on is well maintained you can tell everyone has pride of ownership and this place was no exception. Cottage was very purpose built and stocked from the hot tub to location of fan’s/ AC, lighting more than enough cooking supplies- abundant amount of pots and pans, utensils, rice cooker, crock pot etc. When we first arrived the kids were running around like a kid in a candy store, massage recliners in living room the outdoor kitchen with tv, hot tub and the closeness to the water… to admit me and the wife were doing the same. Hot tub nights, roasting marshmallows listening to the owls staring up at the stars with a daiquiri in the beautiful Lousiana swamp it doesn’t get much better. Can’t wait to come back in the summer!!! Book the experience now!

I recently had the pleasure of staying at this wonderful Airbnb that truly exceeded my expectations. The property is located on the bayou with a beautiful walking trail, which was an absolute delight during my recovery from surgery. The cleanliness of the space was remarkable, making it a safe and comfortable environment for my needs. I was especially grateful for the recliner in the sun room, which allowed me to relax without discomfort. The hand-held showerhead was also a fantastic addition, making my post-surgery routine much easier. Overall, I couldn’t have asked for a better place to recover.
