I wish I could give this place six stars! the steak I bought to grill went bad so Kathy made me a frozen pizza and I ate dinner with them outside. I've never been somewhere more quiet and peaceful. they were very patient with me and my dog that loves to pace and make himself at home. such a sweet, friendly couple with a beautiful home and a priceless view of the lake.

The location was very remote but only 20 minutes from civilization. Places to eat and get gas were closer. Hosts were very friendly and helpful making great recommendations. Accommodations were spacious and private. Nice to have a full kitchen. Highly recommend staying with Lynn and Sam. We had a great time and wish it would have been longer.

Tim and Roxanne were the nicest hosts we’ve ever dealt with and their place is truly spectacular. It was a privilege to stay there. It is beautiful, peaceful and such an idyllic setting! They also keep their place in tip top shape and have everything you could ever need available for you. Hammocks, boats, bikes… whatever you need. We’ve stayed at a ton of rentals up north as well as internationally, and none come close to staying with Tim and Roxanne at their place. Plus, the lake is pristine and private to the twenty some property owners that have a home on it. Great fishing, clear water and even some sandy spots. Oh, and Al Capone’s brother owned a house on this lake, so there’s a lot of cool history too. So glad we found this place…. Thanks Tim and Roxanne!

A great place to stay for our weekend in Marquette, a short drive to downtown and a cozy stay. Definitely will plan on staying here again for any future Marquette trip.

Nice and quiet stay. We wanted a peaceful place to sleep on our way through the area and we found it here. Emily was friendly and responsive. The place was absolutely spotless!

I would recommend this place to anyone! Very clean and stocked with kitchen stuff. Pots, pans, coffee maker , toaster , air frier oven. Place was very clean. Bathroom had lots of soaps and shower stuff. Very quiet peaceful place. It was a bit of a drive but it was worth the peace and quiet. I give this place 10 stars. 😊

This is my second time staying at Faith’s and it was just as amazing as the first. I will stay here every time I can. It’s comfortable, quiet, private, provides a lot of space for my toddler to play, and Faith is always kind, quick, helpful, accommodating, and supportive. Everything went well. The apartment is part of a larger house. We had neighbors during our stay. There is a shared fire pit, but a private deck leading to the apartment. The house is right next to the ferry and bike/moped rentals, so very convenient. The space just has a small kitchenette with a fridge and toaster oven, so you can't really cook. Be aware of this during non-prime season because a lot of restaurants are closing for the season. All was clean and tidy. The water is from a well, so the smell of sulfur was pretty strong after a shower. We had a nice time.

Our time with Fay and Jon was just what we needed. My wife and I needed a place to get away and unwind and this was perfect. They were available host but we didn't need them for anything. We communicated back and forth when we arrived and once our twice during our stay. Everything was where it was supposed to be and worked as it should. The sauna was a wonderful way to wind down our days and the bed was firm but very comfortable. We wouldn't hesitate a bit to stay here again in the future.

We had a great stay. Everything was as described, and the place was very clean. As others have mentioned, you do hear a bit of sound from the floor above, but certainly nothing more than one would expect, and it is stated in the description of the space. We were 4 adults, and made good use of the well equipped kitchen. Beds were very comfortable and bedding was very clean and bright.

Great little place. Couch isn’t the most comfortable for lounging on but otherwise it is very cozy! Not far from town and beautiful view of the sunrise over the lake.

Susan’s place was nice and quiet and her instructions for checking in were straightforward, 10/10 I’d recommend staying here if you want a nice quiet place in Thunder Bay.

Excellent location (a walk away from Lake Superior). There is literally everything you could need. The best stocked Airbnb I think I've ever stayed in, from the kitchen, to the bathroom, to the board games, blankets, beach towels, you name it. There isn't a stove in the kitchen, but there are too many great local places to eat at in Marquette that you don't need it. There is a Keurig and electric tea kettle. The wifi was fast; there is a Google TV; and the foosball table was a hit. Beds are comfy and clean. If you get the chance, this is a fantastic stay!

Susan and Peter's place is definitely a place we would love to return to once we'll come again to Harbor Springs area. It felt nice, comfortable, home like, and we felt very welcomed. The view, that surrounds the house is just beautiful .

Nestled in the gorgeous northwoods this home is a fantastic getaway. The home is clean and well stocked. Eric is responsive and curteous. We are grateful for our time there!

It was a wonderful stay! It was comfy and a great place to stay a few nights. I would love to stay here again and get more sights seen in Duluth!

Jon's unit is delightful and appealing. My family and I felt right at home. The suite has living and working spaces we enjoyed very well. I was happy and quite pleased by the amenities that were provided as promised, especially the full kitchen and utensils, personal care items, the variety of entertainment options, and the shared laundry space. In addition, the unit's location is pleasant and ideal with a park right at the back door, shops nearby, bus lines, and grocery markets all within a few steps or a short drive away. We stayed a very long time and look forward to booking again with Jon when we're in Thunder Bay again for sure. Thanks so much, Jon, for caring and understanding what hospitality means!

The stay was great! communicated with Rachael and she was awesome and very helpful! The cabin was just as it appears in the pictures, very clean, and very easy to find. We are very happy with our stay!
