My partner and I stayed at Monika’s quaint little cabin for a getaway to go cross country and downhill skiing last minute. The cabin was super cute and we loved the community cleaning aspect of it! The view of the river is spectacular from every window and we saw Red Polls and nuthatches even in the cold! The location is very private and tucked back. We loved the sauna and it heated up fairly quickly. The bed was super comfortable and had a great view from the A-frame window. Overall, a perfect spot to cozy up after long days skiing. We would love to return in the summer to see river when it’s melted and the trees are green.

This place was amazing! My three boys, husband, and dog had such a great peaceful time. There were plenty of things to do in the cabin alone! They have everything fully stocked, including tons of family games, VHS movies to take you back in time, and much more. We loved how peaceful everything was! My kids loved hunting for crawfish, swimming, and riding in the kayaks. It rained almost the entire time until the last night, but honestly, that made it even better and more peaceful. The host was very responsive when we had a little issue with our pup and was extremely helpful and I appreciated that so much. The only thing I would prepare people for is that of course being that secluded/ far out is it well water, which does have a “scent” to it. Other than that everything was absolutely perfect!! Thanks so much for letting us use your home. We would 10000000% recommend.

we absolutely loved the Hygge House and our stay there. Not only was it adorable and beautifully decorated, it was immaculately clean and Kaity and Brett were wonderful to work with-So kind and responsive. We even added on another day to our trip because we were loving it and needing the quiet and rest away from home. The Cable area is our favorite and we will definitely be back to this wonderful place to stay.

The Bunkhouse exceeded our expectations. It was cozy, relaxing, and clean. We enjoyed being right on the lake, walking in the woods, a warm campfire, and the sauna! The internet allowed us to stream a Lynx basketball game, the porch offered quiet reading space, and the pullout sofa afforded restful sleep. Our old dog loved the calm outdoors and “Back 40”. We can’t wait to come back!

This place was incredible for us. Our experience reminded me of what Airbnb used to be. Lovable quirks, unique spot, friendly and fun hosts, and an experience you couldn’t get anywhere else. The kitchen was beautiful! Trails right out the door. What else could you want? Thanks for everything!

We had a fantastic time during our stay. The accommodations were clean and comfortable. The area was private and quiet, and we never ran out of things to do. I think our favorite part was enjoying the hot tub during the evening sunset and listening/seeing all the wildlife. We even had a bald eagle fly right over us! We hope to stay again soon!

We only stayed one night (previous night was cancelled due to the blizzard and hazardous driving conditions from out of state). Driveway and front stoop had been shoveled(20"of snow!) Upon arrival, the party lights were lit outside the house and the electric fireplace was on and made the cabin warm and homey. The cabin exuded such charm and character. Appreciate the well equipped kitchen and overall cleanliness of the cabin. The ladder to the loft is on a pulley system which my husband found easy to operate. The cabin is only 10 miles from downtown Marquette and short driving distances to cross country ski, snowshoe and taking in the Eben Ice Caves. The cabin was quiet, secluded and had beautiful views of the snow covered woods. Theresa was a gracious host and timely with all communications. Highly recommend!

We wanted to spend some downtime in the north woods after the holidays, and the tiny house was exactly what we were looking for! The kitchen was well-stocked and everything was just perfect. Reading, eating, sleeping, relaxing in the sauna, and just taking in the beautiful wintry surroundings was so peaceful. Saw lots of wildlife, including a resident red fox. It was also close enough to Bayfield to check out local restaurants and bookstores, and take the ferry to Madeline Island.

I agree with someone else’s rating that 5 ⭐️ wasn’t enough. The cabin was beautiful, relaxing, cozy and Simone was an amazing host. I can’t wait to go back and stay next year. You get what you pay for and this was definitely worth the money!!

Bonnie’s Backyard Oasis was lovely. It was great to have a designated place to park, be able to check ourselves in and out at our convenience in a quiet neighborhood where we felt safe. The place was clean and adorable, and the bed was comfy, too. Bonnie was so thoughtful with a list of good places to visit in the area if we had time and even left some snacks and beverages in the unit for us. We would definitely stay there again.

Very lovely cabin. Clean and cozy. Very convenient parking. Jill was great with directions and instructions. Proactive. Offered to clear the snow from the driveway after a snowfall. That was very helpful and nice. Easy access to the town and bay. Highly recommend.

We really enjoyed our stay at the cabin. Stevie answered all our questions immediately. We found it easily thanks to the very helpful descriptions. The cabin looked exactly like shown in the pictures. It was extremely peaceful and quiet. We would love to come back one day!

The cutest little cabin you could ask for. It was cozy and easy to find and well taken care of! Loved the location, the peaceful surrounding and the distance from L’Anse. The host had everything laid out on laminated sheets inside the cabin, which made it so easy to know how to take care of the space and use it! Would recommend this to anyone looking for a cozy get away!

This was my second stay with Scott and Jenna. They did not disappoint! Their house is warm and cozy with a beautiful little wood stove,friendly smiles and warm hellos! The guest suite has a lovely claw foot bathtub where you can lounge and watch the leaves/snow fall. Maybe you want to take a walk? Ask Scott or Jenna where you can walk. The highlight for me personally? Being able to, no problem, watch The Greatest Showman whilst I took a lovely sauna. Heaven on earth people ☺️ Enjoy your stay! I’ll be back folks 😁

We had a great time in Ely! This cabin was the perfect fall weekend getaway. Can’t wait to come back :)

The location was perfect for plans in McMillan and Grand Marais. It was just right for our family of three and a cozy winter retreat. Some instructions could be made more available (like the sauna and thermostat), but Scott was very responsive to our questions/messages.

I've stayed at Dave's several times as a quiet and restful retreat space. I brought my daughter this time and we had a lovely weekend in the cozy accommodations of the tiny home, enjoyed the hot tub, fireplace and had just what we needed for our weekend. Dave has consistently been a responsive and friendly host and made sure to come plow us out after a spring snow storm! We will be back!

Great place to stay and ride from, right next to the trail, with gas and a little store within walking distance to the cabin! Cabin was perfect for us no complaints about anything!

The tiny home was adorable. So well put together and had everything you would need. It was a tiny home but felt very spacious. In 6’4 and had no issues at all. There was plenty of restaurants and shops in the area. Highly recommend the stay.

The cabin is very clean and the interior is very spacious. The deck and screened in porch add substantial usable space. A few things: -Not a lot of grassy/yard space given the forest/cliffs/brush. There is a bonfire pit with space for chairs around it. -Check for burn restrictions. Arrived on October 17th to a total ban on burning since the 11th. We were notified the day of check-in but it changed our plans of hanging around a fire. -As far as I could tell, the propane heater only goes on and off without a thermostat. On all night is too hot for the lofts. Off all night is too cold for the futon (depending on outside temp). -Porta Potty was very clean but smelly. -Sliding door lock consists of I-bolts with a padlock on the exterior. Someone could play a joke and lock you inside with a different lock. In all, this well-stocked cabin is a great way to experience the beauty of lake superior without breaking the bank. Would certainly recommend and come back again.
