The apartment was comfortable and clean, would definitely recommend. My two small kids fit on the sofa bed, but it is a very small one!

This is a great place. Secluded and yet close to town. Bob and Lisa are great hosts. Place is as described which is a plus for me. I definitely want to go back when the weather gets nicer and can get to the lake.

Great place in the Northwoods! Perfect for what we needed. Quiet, good space for two people. WiFi was also adequate for working from the Airbnb. Close to a lot of great winter activities!

Staying in one of Trisia's properties is always our first choice when we're traveling to the Houghton area. The rental offers just about everything you could think of or need. It's very comfortable. We also love that it is above Roy's bakery. We can just walk downstairs and choose whatever we want to eat- donuts, salads, pasties, sandwiches. It overlooks the canal, is within walking distance of downtown and just a drive to lots of interesting historical locations and beautiful scenic sites.

Lynette is a wonderful host. She let us know as soon as the apartment was ready for us and had prepared it to make us feel relaxed and welcome. She was also very considerate when our plans changed around checkout time, truly went above and beyond.

Of all the Airbnb places we've stayed, this has got to be our favorite. The surroundings are breathtaking, the apartment above the garage is very well appointed with plenty of towels, blankets, glassware, etc. We had lots of snow during our weekend and the snow plow cleared the long driveway 2-3 times. Our hosts were very friendly and responsive. We had our family of four and there was plenty of room for all of us. We really enjoyed the sauna. We'll be back for sure. thank you for a great weekend.

Our stay at Kathy’s place was perfect! The rental was spotless upon are arrival and Kathy was extremely flexible with check in and checkout. Her communication before and during our stay was outstanding and prompt. Kathy went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable during are stay. I would definitely recommend her place and happily rent from her again in the future.

We had a wonderful wintery weekend at the Freshwater House. The location was a great home base for all our activities. The house felt like a home and we really enjoyed the wood stove after a long winter day.

David was a professional host that provided a spacious and squeaky clean cottage for our family. The space was peaceful for our family of six and we had plenty of room to gather along with plenty of privacy. We enjoyed sightseeing, snowshoeing, and skiing in the region. David also left us an awesome apple pie that was the best I have tasted since my Grandmother's homemade apple pie.

Had a great time ice fishing with friends. Perfect location to access the lake! Will be back. Legend of Ghostrider was born in this trip. Ghostrider LBDC!!!

Great location for exploring the UP! Beds were comfy, shower is nice, and we loved that it was pet friendly. As it says in the description the house is off of a main road so I'd recommend arriving during the daylight if you can so you pull into the correct driveway! Road noise was not bad and we loved all the big windows. Heat works well but the radiator/vents were very noisy (I'd recommend earplugs if visiting in winter for bed time) but it kept the place warm. Overall a very spacious and pretty location with a large yard and fire pit that would be great during the summer!

This place was great!! We are going back next year. It was very clean. Neighbors were friendly. The boat house was great. We didn’t have to put the cover on. Nice and big backyard. Big deck. Cuz we had our kids come over. The fire pit was nice with a grate. She answered very quickly. We loved it!!

Spent a few days snowmobiling out of this place. Was a great place to stay.

This was the perfect place for a Valentine’s Day couples retreat to do some ice fishing! Being right on the water, we were able to slide right off the ice and be at our home away from home. It had everything we needed for a fun weekend with friends and had a great time in the ice fishing tournament, one of the members of our group even got second place! We’ll be visiting again in the warmer months for more fishing!

Marc was a genuine guy, and wonderful host. We will be coming back again for sure. Maybe even make this a regular trip.

Such a great get-away! I toured the ice caves, ate dinner with the locals, and enjoyed watching a pair of foxes play right outside my window. The location is so great because it's private but also close to everything. Thank you Erin!

Bluewater is exactly as described- beautiful views of Lake Superior and cute and cozy. The fireplace was especially lovely to have, and the bedroom/bathroom/kitchen were perfect for our needs. Great place and easy drive to both Tofte and Lutsen Mountain.

We had a great stay for our anniversary, Christine helped us with what little questions we had during our time very quickly. Would gladly stay again for another holiday in the future. Thank you so much.

We are repeat guests to Lakeside Lookout and truly love the convenience of this location. Mary and Sid were so helpful when our travel plans changed by a day and their response time was immediate. We enjoyed everything winter has to offer up north this weekend!

We had a great stay at Shannon’s place for a nice winter getaway. Great location close to the ski hills and all the other winter activities in the area. Condo was clean and comfortable. Perfect escape to make lasting memories.

Very beautiful place to stay in had a nice view of lake Superior. Close to snowboarding in Lutsen Mt. Had all amenities and even more host was very friendly and have local recommendations overall we loved our stay!

Had a wonderful stay, very peaceful and a great spot to enjoy the north shores. Super close to Lutsen mountain, great spot for a ski day. Pool and game room was a fun luxury to be able and get out of the condo. It was a fun winter spot (hiking in state parks that were open) but would love to try it out in the summer.
