We had a girls trip to this cabin and it was perfect for the 6 of us! We played games, enjoyed the hot tub and the fireplace, and made all our meals in the well equipped kitchen. It was exactly as described, very cozy, easy to find and easy check in. Host was very responsive to the one or two questions we had. Highly recommend!

This place was lovely to escape from the everyday Florida life. It was nice to just relax in the hot tub and enjoy the view. Made a little fire and roasted marshmallows for smores! Waking up to see the birds on the feeder and the cows in the background was lovely! very peaceful! Darcy also preps for all the odds and ends that may be needed but not thought about. Stayed for a week and enjoyed the cooler weather and explored surrounding areas and the lovely views!

Came to the Coalmont Cabin for a mother-daughter trip and it truly was a serenity retreat. Ryan and Genette's place is amazing! It's really hard to articulate how wonderfully "unplugged" we were from the outside world. We did venture out to do some hiking..Greeter Falls, Boardtree Falls, Stone Door and Laurel Falls...but the rest of the time was spent at the cabin reading, listening to music, talking, laughing, cooking, kayaking, getting in the hot tub and sitting by the fire. We made so many wonderful memories and plan to return again!

I booked this spot on a whim to get a little break from life and it was just perfect for it. Although the home is not in the middle of the woods, the yard has seamless privacy which allows for some peaceful time in the hottub and on the patio. Also…the shower and the beds are the BEST. Feeling totally refreshed! Thanks Adam.

We had such a wonderful time! The inside of the home is stylish and pristine with a lot of cute personal touches, and the outdoor living space and fire pit are perfect and well maintained. The kitchen was very well stocked and it was easy to cook (not to mention the awesome blackstone grill). It’s not quite as secluded as we usually prefer, but whether it was by the fire at sunset or during the day lounging in the hot tub—we still felt cozy and comfortable. Would absolutely recommend!

Wow doesn’t cover it. The cabin was absolutely beautiful! Linda has thought of everything! The home is beautiful, the property exactly as described, but she goes above and beyond. There were so many little things that made it feel so personal and let you know she cared. We loved it and are hoping to come back when it is warmer to enjoy the outdoor activities.

We really enjoyed this place. We stayed at one of the smaller houses in the past. The extra room, King bed and a comfy sofa were great. Enjoyed breakfast on the screened porch. Great to get away from the city.

We loved Ann's place. Hiking to the waterfall out back was a special bonus. It's very close to Fall Creek Falls which was a great excursion. The home has comfortable beds, rooms, and hangout space.

Stay was great …. slept good ….. only negative thing was the tv ….. we could only watch one live channel…..also 2 other bedrooms had no tv at all ……

Mike’s place is a little slice of middle Tennessee heaven. The cabin itself is just beautiful, representing a little bit of history but with modern day amenities. Fully stocked with everything needed for a relaxing stay in but close enough to shops and restaurants if you want to spend time outside of the cabin. We stayed for 9 days and did a mix of both. Enjoyed the surrounding hikes and restaurants Mike recommended but also enjoyed relaxing by the fire and spending the evenings stargazing. Mike was super responsive and flexible with us. 10/10 highly recommend booking a stay here!! We will be back for sure!

we spent a few relaxing nights at the little cabin. the kitchen and bathrooms were well supplied. it was quiet and we loved sitting on the deck.

I loved it I spent Christmas and new years here. The host was responsive and the neighbor was also helpful and nice if you needed something. The lake was beautiful if you just wanted to sit by the water and relax. If you looking to go to the city with family or significant other it is about 1hr 30 but there’s also nice waterfalls near by. I also loved the movie collection she had in her cabinet , it made me feel homey. I would recommend staying here again.

Red Oaks Retreat was the perfect spot for my girlfriends and I to catch up over the weekend. We loved the large kitchen that was well stocked to cook our meals and made good use of the game room upstairs. The attention to small details did not go unnoticed, but my favorite part was the immaculate soft yummy beds! Thank you Becky and Don. Hope to be back again next year.

This is a beautiful cabin set at the edge of the woods. The space was very clean and exactly as described. We enjoyed being in nature but still a short drive from the city. The hosts are wonderful, provided good pre-arrival and checkout instructions, and provided quick answers to any questions.

We loved our stay here! It was as described and the photos were exactly what you get. It was very private and cozy. We loved watching the horses while sitting outside having coffee in the mornings. We drove our side x sides straight to the trails, no trailering necessary! I would recommend staying here and we would definitely stay again! Thank you!

Magical Christmas Cabin From the moment I read “watching the sunrise with a hot cup of coffee with a Mountain View”, my heart and eyes swelled. It was exactly, precisely the remote retreat we needed. A Christmas Present of a cabin, decked to the brims with holiday spirit. And what an “Alexa, Merry Christmas” we had!! Nonstop Joy in this space. We both have treasured memories exploring all the Beauty on this property with our precious ole pup. In the middle of the mountains in central Tennessee we found the actual Peace of the Season. Morning Sunrise with coffee on the bluff is simply BEYOND words. The Waterfall calls you all day long beckoning your return. We were restored by the massive fire we were able to build in the giant fire pit. (CITGO down road for wood) Everything is postcard perfect. I am filled with deep gratitude for Michael generously hosting us and making our holidays spectacular. We only have positive takeaways from this experience. A must-return for certain. “Book it!”

Cabin faces away from property toward forest. So, you definitely feel out on your own. It's very quiet, calm. The cabin has all you need for a quiet, peaceful retreat: a roof, four walls, a bed, climate controlled (there are other amenities, but this is all I was really looking for). I was only visited by a couple of chickens once who wandered by to say "hello" and then go about their business. There was plenty of firewood near the cabin already, but there's also a rather large pile available if necessary. The only downside was that I didn't stay longer. Would definitely recommend. I miss it already.
