Our family really enjoyed our time at this beautiful cabin! Check in was quick and easy and Jadey was extremely responsive to messages. Communication was great from arrival to departure. While we did not have access to the wifi, these things happen and we understood. A storm that blew in the day prior caused some issues which didn’t affect our enjoyment and it was a good opportunity to “unplug”. Included availability of the Kayaks, canoes, and water bike was a great way to explore. Excellent location for young families looking to spend relaxing days on the clear and shallow beach with the kids. We also took advantage of the basketball net and tennis court on the cooler days. Overall we had a great stay at Sunset Cove and have no doubt we will return again in the future! Thank you Jadey and Jack.

Kim was really communicative and good about making sure we had everything we needed for the weekend. Easily reached, easy to work with. We spent the weekend fishing/snowmobiling and the location was very good for access to Lake Nipissing. Fishing is always good on the South Shore. Space was spacious, clean, multiple bedrooms. Kitchen well stocked. Everything you need.

Lovely house & nice yard. Scenic location near the lake. Clean, well run and a generously stocked kitchen. Hosts were easy to communicate with and obviously put in a lot of work and pride in renting the property.

This Lake Nipissing rental was very much what we were looking for to do an ice fishing outing for 6 mostly retired guys – it was almost directly in from Lonely Island (about 1.5k walk). The actual cottage is very large, and it was nice having 2 ½ baths. The kitchen is very big with a huge island that also works as a pub height dinning area and there are tons of cabinets with all of the kitchen utensils/accessories you’ll need to make great meals. There are a few rough areas, which comes from a lot of use (e.g., trim work, a few chips, dents and worn chairs, shower heads, etc.), but for a northern cottage rental I would say it would be 4 to 4.5 stars and for an ice fishing choice I must give it 5 stars. I will very much consider this location again if we decide to do another ice fishing trip to this location again in the future and if you were doing a non-winter trip, I’m sure this location would be a perfect area with boat access and placement on the water for a large family outing.

Bowhey’s is such a special place. All the amenities, clean cabins, staff is always busy working on something to make it even more beautiful. Ian is so great and laid back. Saturday night karaoke should not be missed! We will definitely be back.

Beautiful view of the West Bay! Cottage was very clean and well equipped. Friendly, laid back people were staying in nearby cottages and trailers. We went to the Lavigne Tavern down the road for supper and had an excellent meal and service. Likewise, picking up ice cream from the corner store. Very friendly, warm, relaxed town - we'll be back!

What a little slice of heaven! Highly recommend Bowhey's particularly for families. Among the best features: The wraps (totally creative), the access to the dock, the pool (very large pool) and karaoke night (so much fun!). For just a week, I was able to have my son experience life like I did in the 80s and 90s. He met new friends, played games in the pool and outside and just enjoyed a simpler pace. If this is what you're looking for, Bowhey's is for you!

My first time experiencing cottage life. Ian and his family are good hosts. My children loved Ian. This resort felt very safe. The people that were there were very kind and friendly. it was not overwhelming, it was just right. You do have to bring your own pillows and linen. My suggestion, bring a fan. keep you cool at night. There is hot water. Karaoke night was a lot of fun. no judgement. Ian has a big variety of music. If you are coming from the GTA, you are looking at about 5 to 6 hours of travel time depending on traffic. We didn't get to do the trails because our kids wanted to swim in the pool all day. However, there are trails around the area. Canoeing was a lot of fun and the paddle boards were a challenge but a lot of fun too. There is fire wood present for you to use if you want to make a bonfire. There is a convenience store down the street. They sell essential groceries, beer, liquor, first aid and hot food. Some of his cabins have a really good view of the lake.

Had a great time, needed a place to stay and relax for a fishing weekend taking some friends out for a trip as they don’t know the area well. Clean, comfortable and affordability come to mind. Had a great time and would definitely go back again! Carole made it easy for us to check in a bit early and was quick to respond to questions.

Our stay at Pine Falls Resort was absolutely wonderful! Patrick and Amy were incredible hosts, going above and beyond to make us feel welcome. The natural beauty of the resort is breathtaking, and Patrick and Amy shared so much about the local environment that our kids left with a newfound appreciation for nature. The peaceful setting and family-friendly atmosphere made it easy to relax and enjoy every moment. From exploring trails to learning about wildlife, it was a truly enriching experience. We highly recommend Pine Falls Resort for families looking to reconnect with nature and enjoy genuine hospitality!

I had the most incredible stay at this cozy cabin nestled in the heart of the forest. From the moment I arrived, I felt a sense of peace and tranquility. The cabin is beautifully tucked away, offering complete serenity, and it’s the perfect escape to unwind and reconnect with nature. Every detail of the space is so thoughtfully designed, creating an incredibly warm and inviting atmosphere. I stayed for three weeks, and it was an absolute dream—comfort was never in short supply. The owners are such wonderful people; they truly go above and beyond to ensure your stay is perfect. Their kindness and attention to detail made the experience even more special. And let's not forget about Kush, the adorable dog! She’s absolutely precious, and I couldn’t get enough of her cuddles. It was a highlight of my stay, having her around. I wholeheartedly recommend this cabin to anyone looking for a peaceful getaway. It’s the perfect spot to recharge, relax, and enjoy the beauty of the forest.

This is the 5th year we have rented Stefano's cottage. I am hard-pressed to find anything negative to say. The cottage is spectacularly beautiful, inside and out. The architecture is decidedly modern, but clearly fits in the surroundings of trees and the lake. Inside it is very cozy with neutral colours and great for either relaxing with a book and a coffee (or a bottle of wine!), a games night or an outdoor BBQ after a swim, a paddle or a hike. It is superbly quiet and a perfect place to get away from it all, yet keep the creature comforts, grocer a short drive; walking trails nearby, lakes are everywhere and the autumn leaves are nothing short of spectacular. Stefano is very accommodating in terms of providing information or answering questions, if any. We love the place so much I am hesitating to give it such a good review for fear of lots of people discovering it - I want to keep it my own hidden gem. But Stefano deserves an excellent review. Thank you Stefano, as always.

We had a fantastic stay at this beautiful cottage with our family and friends. The interior of this cottage is absolutely stunning. Beautiful kitchen, lovely dining room and breathtaking Lakeview from massive windows from the live room. This place is located in a quiet and beautiful area with lots to do inside and out. Very clean and organized, well stocked with basic essentials. Easy check in, quick response from owner. On-site manager stopped in to check to make sure everything was to our satisfaction. Would not hesitate to stay again.

Wow - we had an amazing experience on the Island. Ray is a great host, so helpful from the moment you book and all the way through our stay. He picks you up from the dock, and takes you to his beautiful little island with a great, clean and well kept cottage. The island is a special place, interesting to explore - great to swim, kayak, canoe, paddle board. The cottage is very clean, the kitchen has nearly everything you could want, bathrooms are pristine. Ray will take great care of you during your stay - we were so impressed. We will be back - thank you Ray!

We had a great weekend at Kelly’s Airbnb, we felt right at home. Despite the noise complaint we got, Kelly was very nice about it and messaged politely. All 6 of us enjoyed it, we would 100% go back. Thank you Kelly, for everything!
