Highly recommend! It’s in the middle of the mountains but on the lake at the same time! Absolutely beautiful setting on the lake in an extremely peaceful neighborhood. My family and I really needed this for a few days

The view of the lake from the large back porch was awesome. A peaceful place to relax and explore the lake on the canoes provided. There was a green egg on site for cooking dinner. I’d highly recommend this location!

Fantastic house and hosts!! This is one of our favorite AirBnBs and we live in AirBnBs full time!! The house is so lovely and cozy! We loved sitting by the fire in the living room. The kitchen was perfect for making dinner every night. The yard was large enough for our dog to run around and they even offered a doggie door if we wanted it! The house is very dog friendly and we could take our pup for walks around the neighborhood. The neighborhood is very walkable around a beautiful lake. You can walk to downtown but it is very hilly so bring your walking shoes! We preferred to drive. The drive to downtown was very short and there was plenty of parking. We loved this place and will definitely stay again!!!

Wow, I am absolutely blown away! This was such an incredible stay! 🌿🏡 Kevin & Linda are the kindest, most caring, and genuinely loving hosts—you can tell their heart is in everything they do. 💛 The pups were precious, and their sweet old girl, Ruth Ann, even joined us on most of our hikes, which made the experience even more special. 🐾 The home was gorgeous, the bed was super comfy, and the WiFi was fast—but honestly, we LOVED having no service outside the house. It made the trip feel like a true reset from the outside world. And can we talk about that bath?! 😍 Omg, yes please. The hiking trails were incredible, the provided map was crystal clear (with extras just in case), and town was just 35 minutes away—super easy to find based on their directions. To top it all off, they even let us try some fresh farm eggs from their chickens, which was such a thoughtful touch. We’re heading home feeling refreshed, recharged, and overflowing with gratitude. 🥰 Already planning our next

Beautiful, secluded location. Perfect ti get away from it all. Make sure you bring anything you need with you, the closest town is 25 min away. Great hiking nearby.

We very much enjoyed our stay at Robert’s place in Sunset SC. It suited our 3 generations of family that we had there. The kitchen table was great with room for all 8 of us plus more! The bedroom situation was wonderful with I/2 baths stuck strategically around the house. Lots of games and puzzles for the kids. Here were a few items to mention for future visitors: there are 3 stories in this house so be prepared to hike, and discuss the heating/cooling situation with other guests before going to bed as the middle floor thermostat is in one of the bedrooms.

We spent Thanksgiving week at Evergreen with our family of 4. The surrounding land is stunning - naturally beauty that is worth the stay alone! The cabin feels like going to a great camp in the mountains...the rooms are large - every room is spacious and comfortable. It is an older property with a sense of history - feels like a family home. The kitchen was well stocked and there were plenty of linens for the beds - and extra quilts. The property is rural but not a far drive to Tuxedo or Hendersonville for groceries. We also went apple picking at a near by orchard! It is probably equally beautiful in the spring when the trees and bushes are in bloom.

Amanda’s place truly exceeded all our expectations. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with a nice bottle of wine by the host. The property itself was immaculate and tastefully decorated, blending modern amenities with charming, rustic touches. The living area was spacious and inviting, perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring. The kitchen was well-equipped, making it easy to prepare meals. Another highlight was the outdoor space, which featured a cozy patio with comfortable seating perfect for stargazing in the evenings, or looking at the creek not too are away. The location was also a huge plus; it was conveniently situated near WCU, yet peaceful enough to enjoy a quiet retreat. Overall, this Airbnb provided an unforgettable experience. I highly recommend it!

This house was exactly what we were looking for. The location across from the lake was nice, with an easy walk to town. Looking forward to staying here again.

We love Black Mountain and Linda's place is in a great location to walk to town and/or around Lake Tomahawk. It's cozy and had everything we needed.

The house was perfect for us. We were very comfortable there. We loved the fireplace and had a fire most nights. The enclosed porch was nice for our small dog that loved sitting out there looking for squirrels!

We just had a girls weekend and loved the house. There were 6 of us and we had plenty of room. We wished we had warmer weather to be able to utilize the amazing screened in porch. We will just have to come back! Leah was very responsive- the whole process was super easy. We walked to Narrow Falls… they are beautiful. The beds were all comfortable- we felt right at home. Definitely a wonderful place to stay!

Carolyn's place was spotless and we felt very comfortable staying there. The view of the lake and mountains were amazing. It was wonderful to be able to take a walk every morning and feel the peace of God's presence. We will definitely be back!

My family and I were very impressed with the house! We visited for Thanksgiving and the kitchen was well stocked with utensils and cookware. Lynette even left a very yummy apple pie on the counter for us! The house was cozy and clean. Beds were comfortable. The WiFi worked well. There was plenty of space for the 5 of us and could easily accommodate a few more folks. We would love to stay here again!

We just returned from a fantstic week long getaway at Lake Toxaway at Jennifer's place. The house is located in a quiet, peaceful cove with beautiful views of the lake and mountains. The porch was so nice, we ended up eating every meal outside. The house was exactly as pictured, very clean and well equipped. The neigborhood was lovely with beautiful roads and houses. We took walks and took our nine year old on bike rides around the neigborhood. Jennifer was very responsive to all of our needs. The only thing better than our week at the lake would have been two weeks!!!!

This home did not disappoint! Absolutely gorgeous! The host were available when needed.Well supplied with everything you need such as dishes, household supplies, shampoos, body wash, conditioners, skin lotion, laundry detergent and softeners. Anything that you need is already there except food and drink. The home is beautiful and serene, the waterfall is absolutely stunning and peaceful. You will not be disappointed at all!!

This house is beautifully done! Kitchen was well stocked with lots of extras. Bedrooms and baths were comfortable and clean. Gorgeous views out of large windows and doors. Convenient location to Cashiers, Highlands and Brevard. Perfect for our girls weekend.

We were in town for a swim meet, there were 3 sets of families and we all felt like we had our own space. Plenty of room, beautiful views, we loved racing the kids up all of the hills! The neighbors were super friendly. It was super close to everything we needed in Greenville and so much better than staying in a hotel. It was too cold to enjoy the lake but it was beautiful!!

We absolutely enjoyed our week and here. The beds were very comfortable, kitchen had everything you needed, loved watching the sunrise on the back porch, and even had fun with some snow flurries while we were there. highly recommend this place. Also, some great places to visit if you are in the highlands: Whiteside mountain, Glen falls, Picklesimer falls (google will take you close but not all the way), and secret falls (Google is accurate for this one but you will think it has lost its mind). A local told us about Picklesimer and we loved our short hike to this waterfall.

It was a beautiful place, with a stunning view of the lake & mountains beyond. Comfy & casual. The fireplace was a bit smoky but not too bad. Comfortable beds & small but nice bathrooms. Bebe gave us great recommendations for nearby restaurants & hikes. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Vickie was a great host—proactive in giving us instructions helping answer any questions we had along the way¡ The place was even better than we expected, with a beautiful lakefront view and access to kayaking and fishing from a private dock. Our weekend trip immediately turned into a peaceful getaway in nature. I've already told my friends about the place and plan to be back!

This place was absolutely beautiful. Their amenities were more than enough for my family; we had a group of 12. The view was spectacular and the place was spotless and SO clean. Their check out instructions were easy to follow and completely easy as well (strip the sheets and put them on floor in the room, take out trash, etc.), basically just the bare minimum of staying in someone else’s home. We could not have asked for more. The road leading to the house is not tricky, just a slight curvy gravel road but nothing crazy and scary. We will definitely be booking again for when another family member graduates college. 100% recommend booking because it will NOT disappoint. I love this place and didn’t want to leave!
