Evans place was a fit stopover for our long family road trip. It was easy to find and access. Evans communicated well from the beginning. The home was large enough for my family of 7 - with four children sharing the double decker and one the single bed. Very quiet and serene. It felt safe. It is a short drive from the main road. There is a lot of parking space and grounds for children to play and roam around. A certain boy offered to wash our car for a small fee - that was helpful. There are chairs and sitting space on the grass to sit or talk and a balcony attached to the bungalow. Swings for children. The lighting of the house is very good. The showers work and the water is hot. Evan's dad was 5 star! What can be improved? Have a Smart TV since there is WiFi:the DStv was not working. Avail or ask guest to carry mosquito repellants. Remove construction material in the house (door frames) and have slightly comfortable sitting room chairs (longer stays). Overall good. We can return.

As much we didn't stay at the previously selected location, since it'd been booked, Mary was quick to provide an alternative which made for a lovely stay. Looking forward to her hosting in the future.

We felt right at home with Jerry and his lovely family. The compound was beautiful, really well kept and the team there were friendly and helpful. There was so much space for my children to safely roam so we were able to relax. Really grateful for the laundry service as Uganda is very dusty. The apartment was comfortable and we had everything we needed. It was quiet and we slept really well. There is a high level of security around the clock so we felt very safe. We wouldn't hesitate to stay there again if we were coming back.

This place was way beyond my imagination. My jaw dropped when I arrived, it had everything I needed and so well positioned - surrounded by beautiful gardens. I arrived late at night and when the morning arrived the sunrise, the colours of the sky and the view from my balcony almost made me cry. I'd read about the Nile River when I was a child and so being close to it created so much emotion inside of me. Fleur and the staff were so incredibly accommodating. Really lovely people. I had a truly magical time. Unforgettable. I can't wait to return January 2026! THANK YOU Fleur and all your beautiful staff members, I am so grateful. Until we meet again :) x

The Airbnb was exceptional! Clean, cozy, and well-equipped, with outstanding attention to detail. Millicent was a responsive and thoughtful host. Highly recommend for a perfect stay!

Villa Del Sol is the place to be. The villas are not only attractive but also a safe heaven to be. The chirping of birds and the close proximity to the lake is a plus to the magnificent beauty of the place. The staff at Villa Del Sol are very courteous and helpful. My stay was 10/10. I will recommend this place to any one looking to have a calm stay while in Kisumu.
