Fantastic place, loved the pool area with the TV and sound system overlooking the pool and most of all - the sauna. The location is tucked away and private, if a little far away from the CBD, which we didn’t mind at all but some might. Very close to parks and walks for the kids along the Esplanade.

Very quiet, & cozy place..... Spacious, beautifully and comfortably furnished. Even better than described. Very friendly and communicative hosts: very attentive and hospitable. Would love to return as soon as possible!

We were 4 adults and one 12 year old. We loved the location, its set in beautiful natural surroundings with a lovely walk 300 metres to the beach. it's an easy 5 minute drive to town. The house had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The wifi was very good and we were able to work remotely when needed. The neighbours were quiet. in all it was a perfect place for a quiet, relaxing retreat.

Great location for what we had planned for the weekend. Very spacious with more than the basics covered. Nice touch with SMEG appliances incl. coffee machine & blender. Welcome chocolates are always a winner.

We loved our stay at this property. The large glass doors provide incredible views of the ocean and nearby islands. The property is wonderfully quiet and peaceful. We saw kangaroos grazing in the yard, and as visitors from the U.S., that was an incredible delight! The property is spacious, clean, and comfortable. We would certainly stay again if in the Hervey Bay area.

Besides the beautiful location and views our unit was comfy, homey and very clean. Lots of little touches were included to make things really easy. We absolutely loved our stay and Sarah was an excellent host and communicator. I had the pleasure of meeting Sarah and the obvious care she puts in shone.

Absolutely perfect hosts so helpful & accommodating, they couldn't have done anymore for us and if we are ever back in the area, it would be my first choice without hesitation.

Wendy was so helpful for check-in giving easy to follow instructions. The place was perfect for the two of us for a wedding weekend, and just around the corner from the location. The self contained unit is below the owners house but we were given plenty of privacy and supported when the weather got bad allowing us a flexible check-out time. The unit is clean, quaint and lovely. The owners are responsive if you need anything and really seem to want to ensure your stay is a great experience. Thank you for a lovely stay!

We have just returned to the UK after a wonderful holiday. We absolutely loved our stay in Dane's cabin. It was just as described and had everything we needed. The location was perfect, near to the promanade, beach, shops and restaurants, yet so peaceful and relaxing. We loved waking up in the morning to the sound of the birds and enjoyed having our morning coffee on the veranda looking out onto the lake. It was such a tranquil setting. We also enjoyed the swimming pool which was very clean and well maintained and perfect for cooling off and just a few steps from the cabin. We enjoyed it so much that we actually stayed an extra 2 nights! If we ever go back to this area we would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to others.
