We had a wonderful long weekend. We were two grandparents, 2 children and children in law with a toddler and a baby. The house suited our needs very well. Everything was clean, neat and well designed. People with very young children need to take into account that there are stairs going up to the second floor and a step up from the entrance into the living area. The house has its own long secluded drive so there is a feeling of being alone in the woods. There is easy access to Saugerties and Woodstock. Communication was quick and easy and the check in very straightforward. We would love to return.

Definitely an amazing place, beautiful! But secluded make sure to stock up on groceries and essentials before arriving nearest market is about 16 minutes away. Overall great stay!

Our stay at this cabin was absolutely unforgettable! From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by how clean, modern, and well-equipped it was. The hot tub was the perfect addition, providing a relaxing and private retreat. Steven was the most gracious and thoughtful host we could have asked for. He truly went above and beyond to make our Valentine’s Day weekend special, greeting us with chocolate-covered strawberries and a bottle of champagne. His personal touch made the experience unforgettable. We can’t wait to return, and we’re already looking forward to experiencing it in the summer!

This place was so peaceful and gorgeous! We stayed here during the A Weekend in the Life event and it was such an easy drive into town and to all the activities. The house itself had great amenities and things to do! During our stay, the heater did break, but our host was on top of it. The house has a pellet stove that kept it toasty, so she had 5 bags of pellets delivered to the house for us, she had someone come out and service the pellet stove and she had someone come out to service the heat all in one day! They were accommodating and helpful. We also had our dogs with us who has plenty of space and the airbnb didn’t smell like dog. You couldn’t tell it was a pet friendly place. We loved it!

4 humans and 2 dogs, we all had a fantastic time at this house! The house itself is very. large, spacious and interior is so cute, everything is functioning well, to stay comfortably. It is actually amazing for EVERYTHING to be working in a large house like this! Also all the details about stay is written in the manual - well organized binder, so you can always refer back to it in case you have any questions. The owners are also very responsive via email too :) I esp loved the landscape of the huge garden, it is beautifully taken care of, with nice lighting at night. Kids enjoyed trampoline, and we all soaked in hot tub outside in the snow, it was amazing! I just wanted to stay in a spacious beautiful comfortable house and relax, read, play board games, cook, stroll, - quality time with love ones, so it was absolutely perfect for that !

This cabin is chic, cozy, and in a beautiful secluded location, such that you can take a dip in the hot tub listening only to birds. It's a true getaway treat. Highly recommend.

I was on the hunt for a cabin in the woods and finding Williams place was a dream. It’s 15 minutes from Torrington but you feel like you’re more isolated. It was perfect for my husband’s birthday getaway. William is friendly, helpful and responds quickly. He even gave us a late check out time. The house has amazing antiques and interior. I’m sure he sourced from several of the local antique and flea markets in the area.(Don’t forget to hit an ATM prior to going antiquing) He has a book in the cabin with a ton of local recommendations. We mostly just kicked back and relaxed at the cabin. Soaking up the sun in the hot tub outside next to a lovely bustling river/creek in the back yard. It was a bonus given I have a bad back and it was a little tough adjusting to not sleeping in my own bed. We have already decided to book this place for our anniversary. Thank you again for hosting us and we can’t wait to come again!

While our original booking had an unexpected leak that impacted check-in and stay, Mary was immediately responsive and relocated us to an upgraded property just minutes away. The seamless transition was much appreciated by me and my three other guests. Mary's understanding and dedication to a positive experience was authentic - and we'll be sure to contact her first for our next trip to the Hudson Valley!

We absolutely loved our stay!!! The house is beautiful, well decorated, has everything you need and it is truly dog friendly!! Instructions were clear, helpful, and the house was spotless clean. The towns nearby are very cute and we definitely plan on going back for Spring or Fall!!

We had a wonderful stay at this cozy and beautiful cabin! It was exactly the quiet, relaxing, and secluded getaway we were looking for. We were welcomed with a beautiful basket full of goodies. The bed was comfortable, and the sauna and large jacuzzi tub were perfect for unwinding. The kitchen was well-equipped, and having both a crock pot and air fryer made meal prep super convenient. We really enjoyed the cozy wood-burning fireplace. Communication with Elle was excellent—she was very responsive and helpful throughout. Although it rained during our visit and we didn’t get to use the outdoor spaces much, there are some lovely spots for enjoying a fire or just relaxing outside.Highly recommend this cabin for anyone looking to recharge in a peaceful retreat!

Our family of four had a wonderful winter weekend at Erma’s house. The house was comfortable, even during a winter storm. Erma made sure to have the driveway plowed, so we could still enjoy a day of skiing. And the sunset views were beautiful! We would definitely stay here again.

What a special and magical place! Cori and Ruben have created a really special sanctuary to enjoy peaceful time away, tucked away from the world and also in close proximity to anything you need. So grateful for the time we spent at this beautiful space - lots of thought went into every detail of the cozy home, from the comfy, robes and slippers to the coffee. Also, had the best massage of my life in the unit - take advantage of Ms. Rose if you can!! Thank you for a beautiful stay, sitting on the deck in the sun looking over the river was pure bliss.

Loved our stay, celebrated my 30th birthday and really enjoyed the A frame vibe! Perfect place to hide out in rainy weather, but we were able to do the recommend Thompson pond preserve hike and it exceeded expectations. Such a cool yet easy hike.

My friends and I had a wonderful stay at Ana’s home. The place was so cozy, and we felt right at home from the moment we arrived. Everything was clean, well-stocked, and just as described. Ana was very responsive and made the whole experience seamless. The location was great, we loved the outdoor area and comfy living space. We’d definitely stay here again!

I and my 2 dogs had a wonderful stay at Michelle's cottage. It was a great location, close to everything I needed such as shopping, church, family and friends. The surrounding area was beautiful, and very dog-friendly. There were many people daily walking their dogs in the area. I felt very much at home there and the large bed was very comfortable.

Absolutely loved our stay at this bnb. The pictures are very accurate in how amazing this house looks. All the furniture was comfortable and the amenities easy to use. There are plenty of local options are far as restaurants and entertainment. Also a lot of distilleries and winery’s within a short drive. The host was very proactive in sending messages for our checkin and checkout. Could not say enough good things about this place.

We recently had the pleasure of staying at Stephen & Rudy's zen Cabin, it was an absolutely wonderful experience from start to finish. From the moment we arrived to see the breathtaking waterfall outside through our entire stay, all details were thoughtfully looked after. The house was immaculate, spacious, and beautifully decorated, providing a perfect blend of comfort and luxury. We particularly appreciated the attention to detail throughout the home, such as the high-quality kitchen and the cozy fireplace. While the home was perfectly on point, it was the communication with Stephen himself that went above and beyond. We actually live one town over and were having work done at our house, therefore in need of a home away from home for several nights. Stephen was extremely responsive and even checked in to see how our house-work was going. We will definitely be back (for a staycation)!!

Carrie was very attentive and concerned about giving me the best instructions to make me feel at home. I didn't struggle to check-in and get settled. What ever question or concern I had she would answer me quickly and kindly. I recommend this beautiful place that will make you feel welcome and at home. Amy and Kevin were absolutely wonderful! It was so nice to get out of the city and stay in such a beautiful cabin. It has a rustic feel while having all of the amenities and conveniences that you are looking for. Amy and Kevin are also such wonderful people they made sure that the trip was easy and fun and responded immediately anytime I had a question. The area was private but also close to a bunch of great restaurants, grocery stores, and gas stations. I couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay!

My family and I stayed at this cabin. The cabin is clean, has plenty of space, has a nice setting and is conveniently located within a short drive to good restaurants. We loved sitting on the porch soaking up the sun and the boys loved running around finding interesting things in the yard. We did some stargazing and were even able to see the milky way!

We came to Otis with our 3 young children with the plan for them to learn to ski at the nearby ski school/mountain. We had a wonderful time and John and Loren’s house was perfect for us. They are lovely, accessible and accommodating hosts! We had the good luck of a snowy weekend and the cabin and property were just gorgeous. The cabin is simple, but very comfortable and we enjoyed how cozy it felt. Our kids slept well and and had so much fun, so did we!
