Very peaceful getaway from the city. About an hour and a half drive from Manhattan. Place was clean, quiet, and retro. Loved getting to take the row boat out around the lake and listen to vinyl records all while being surrounded by nature. Owners were very helpful and responsive.

This place was a breath of fresh air. I've noticed a trend on AirBNB of rentals that are obviously flipped investment properties with no character and no evidence of life: this place is the opposite! Charming, comfortable, with hosts who actually know the area and live in the area. This is a great family option when visiting the surrounding Hudson Valley towns. I hope I can get back here soon!

William was very responsive and quick to answer any questions. The Airbnb was great just as it’s described. It’s a nice spot that feels secluded but is still close to nearby towns. I went up with some friends for the weekend and it’s not far from some nice hiking trails.

We had an incredible stay at an absolutely stunning property. The house is gorgeous and so well put together making a very comfortable stay. Abigail was such a thoughtful host and even reached out to us after the snow and helped make sure the drive was plowed afterwards. We loved our stay and can’t wait to return.

Great place to spend a warm Fall day. Super cool place, really comfortable bed and an incredible view right on the lake.

We had a very nice winter getaway at Janet’s place. It was super clean and open. There is mindful decor throughout. It is a short ride into town with many funky shops, and about 20 mins to Woodstock which is also great. The hot tub was nice on a cold winter night, and the yard was great for our old dog who was very happy to get to go on vacation. That being said, if you don’t have dogs do NOT worry about any traces of a dog having been there. The place was immaculate.

Roberta's place was very comfy, perfect for two people, and it has such an amazing view of the Hudson. Roberta was very communicative, getting in touch just before the trip, greeting us, and then sending us a couple of messages to make sure we had what we needed. The check-out instructions were simple and clear. I always appreciate a place that's pet-friendly too!

Yellow Door House was a fantastic stay, paired with an even more incredible host. The house itself was well-furnished and clean, with plenty of extra house supplies for us to use. Kathleen was also impeccable as a host, going above and beyond to make sure we had a great experience; one of our party left behind a water bottle, and she was so accommodating as to ship it back to us. I could not recommend this place more!

The loft was lovely: fireplace, large balcony, view down the mountain, TV with airplay support, kitchen, etc. the surrounding was quiet and peaceful. The host was responsive and very friendly. Would recommend to others.

We had a such great time in a great house. Spectacular views and plenty of places for 6 people. Also very cozy and clean house. Would definitely come back for summer and recommend to other friends! Thanks for letting us stay at your place!

Enjoyed a perfect 4 night stay on Candlewood Isle with our family. We loved the house’s amazing lake views with full windows! Great spaces to relax and nice tucked away corners for quiet also. The mattresses were extra comfortable! Easily accessible to local towns for good dining. We would absolutely stay here again when in the area. Smooth seamless stay!

Jake’s place was easy to find and in a beautiful location. We were 25 mins away from Mohawk mountain which made for a perfect getaway. The kitchen was well stocked and the living space was comfortable. It was a little draughty in the evenings but there were blankets and an open fire to make for a cozy night in.

Was in the area to visit family and this was a perfect location for me. Had just what my family needed to have a great weekend

This is our second time renting this beautiful lakeside home and it was absolutely perfect for our girl's weekend. The kitchen was a dream, with all of the appliances and amenities you could need and plenty of room for everyone. The living room had so much seating and the fireplace made everything that much more cozy. All of the bedrooms had very comfortable beds with the best sheets and comforters. I think everyone was impressed with how well they slept. The owner was super easy to communicate with throughout our stay. We can't speak highly enough about this rental. Thank you !

We enjoyed Thanksgiving week here with our family of 6 adults and 1 dog. There was plenty of room for everyone to spread out and for family members to work remotely as needed. Having three bathrooms was wonderful! The kitchen is well stocked. Everyone enjoyed relaxing in the hot tub, especially after a fresh snowfall. The location is great. We explored the town of Hudson and had fun at one of the Holiday Markets. Family members went running each morning on the Harlem Valley Rail Trail, and did a hike up to Bash Bish Falls from the NY side. We spent a day exploring the Berkshires and visiting MASS MOCA. Austin was very responsive to any questions we had. He let us know that the community was having a Turkey Trot and Polar Plunge on Thanksgiving Day, so one of our family members participated in the fun. I highly recommend Austin's house for a fun family gathering.

The home was perfect. Fit all of our needs. Yuri was an amazing host easy to get in touch with if needed and very friendly. Would definitely stay here again and for sure would recommend to a friend!

Our stay was great! Hike in the morning and Caitlin’s place was the perfect place to end the day! Wonderful views of the frozen lake - even took a stroll on it! Town of Hudson/Catskills was just a quick drive away. Great place overall!!

David’s home was wonderful. The views from the house are breathtaking. I had so much fun spending my birthday weekend here, the hot tub was a definite plus. Would totally recommend!

Had a great stay at Lisa’s home! Perfect size for a small family. The streets were a little narrow so we didn’t quite feel comfortable walking the neighborhood, but the surroundings were beautiful and it was very quiet and seemed safe. Lisa’s home was stocked with anything we may have needed, and felt like home away from home. It’s off the beaten path a bit, but there are plenty of restaurants, stores, and places to explore just a short drive away. Lisa was protective and communicative throughout our stay.

This place was exactly as described. We had a wonderful time staying here while we visited family in the area. I would definitely recommend especially to families.
