Eric meet us when we arrived and gave us a review of his property. We had 5 vehicles with our UTV trailers and there was plenty of room. The home was spotless and we found it easy to find everything we needed in the kitchen. Plenty of towels with very clean bathrooms. The gas grill does need some attention. We ended up getting some charcoal and grilling on the 2 other grills instead. There was 6 couples and we all said we would want to come back here again!! Thanks for your hospitality.

We have stayed at the FishTale lodge three times. Every stay has been has been great. Tom wants his guests to enjoy their stay and it is incredibly evident. We look forward to coming back next year!

Although I spent most of my time at work, It was extremely nice to come to a place I could call home for a little over a month! never had any problems and the hosts are very responsive into answering ant questions you may have. I actually tried to re book after I left but it was already taken. 10 out of 10 would Def. stay again!!!

Cottage was beautiful and spotless, many amenities included. All the kitchen cookware you could ever need. Complimentary coffee and tea. Numerous outdoor seating choices. Great communication and responsive. firepit on the property.

Micheal was very responsive answering questions I had. The area had a nice view of the lake and the house felt very roomy. I would recommend for a peaceful getaway. The firepit was nice to relax at in the evening.

Our group of friends take an annual outing to remember friends of ours that are no longer with us. This year we chose Stephanie's listing. It was very nice, just as described. It was roomy enough for all of us to hang out and do our own thing or gather together. We found ourselves going to some of the local restaurants and establishments that were recommended, and even took a side trip into Chippewa Falls. We had a little bit of trouble working one of the thermostats but it could have been us. This would be an awesome location to come hang out at in the summertime! We really appreciate all the responsiveness and hospitality, and hope to book with you again!

This is a great place. Secluded and yet close to town. Bob and Lisa are great hosts. Place is as described which is a plus for me. I definitely want to go back when the weather gets nicer and can get to the lake.

Great location and we loved the vibe of the place. The host was very helpful and quick to respond.

This is a perfect place for those hiking the Ice Age Trail. It’s right on the trail and right next to the grocery and restaurant. The bed was extremely comfortable and made for a great night of rest between hiking days.

This is a very cute little space above a bar, over looking the water. We had a group of friends in town for an event and had a great time. The rooms were spacious, very clean, just what we needed. You can hear the music from the bar but that was made very clear at the time of booking, we expected it and actually enjoyed it!

Great hospitality in an excellent location. We enjoyed the friendly staff at the theater downstairs, and the beautiful views of the river and town of Alma! Hosts were exceptionally helpful and proactive about making sure we were happy with the accommodations. Thanks for everything, Matthew and Amy! We hope to come back soon!

I stayed here for work and it was perfect for me. I really liked that there was all the local restaurants listed on the fridge. Also instructions of where everything was in the kitchen.

I cannot say enough good things about our "Girls' Weekend". The apartment was perfect for what we were looking for - comfortable beds and the well-equipped kitchen allowed us to make our own dinners. Just 13 miles from the Chippewa Moraine trailhead made it convenient for us to start our day with a nice hike. We also enjoyed taking the kayaks out on the lake - Laurie even had dry boxes that we could use! We enjoyed a relaxing start to our days with a cup of coffee, enjoying the lake in front of us. What a wonderful place! We would love to come back and would definitely recommend it for anyone coming to the area!

Hosts: Went above & beyond. We arrived at night so they turned the lights on in advance & later when we reached out for help they came & resolved within 10 mins. Also kept the path shoveled free of snow while we were there. Truly 5 star support & service!! Home: Clean + spotless while still being cozy!! Charging cords in every room, full kitchen w/ all pots/pans/foil/spatulas/knife block etc so we could cook, beds so comfy it was hard to get up in the morning, and lots of extra blankets (5+). General: Easy to find, gorgeous views, quiet and peaceful. We saw deer every day!!

Spending two nights at Ted and Lori's cozy lake cottage was just what we were looking for-quiet surroundings in beautiful nature. We enjoyed the trails on the property and just over the road. The sunrises were especially beautiful. We liked being there in the fall without so much busy traffic and so many Summer tourists in the areas nearby. The Fall brought its own special feel. Especially comfortable were the beds. We slept like angels! The two chairs by the stone fireplace were also a favorite place to relax and read. Thank you both for sharing your special place with so many.

Cherri is very responsive which was much appreciated. The place was a little hard to find at no fault of the owners, but once we did we were set for the week. We had a boat lift to use which was a value add for us. There are several stairs down to the lake but the view at the top is gorgeous. Great restaurants to boat and the sand bar is not far to boat the grandkids out to enjoy the lake. Our dog was right at home too. Thank you Cherri and Paul for your place for the week, we had a very nice time.

Fantastic hosts with fantastic little cabin. Absolutely loved my stay. Super cozy and warm during the coldest snap of the year! Would be even better in the summer with the beautiful location, outdoor amenities, and classic cabin on the lake!

Stacy’s place was cute and cozy for our five person group. We especially loved the assortment of games and puzzles that were available and the family history of the cabin!

We found the place quite lovely and cozy. It has a beautiful spot on the lake next to the dam. Very private and peaceful. We also loved learning the history of the place and can't wait to see the area revitalized. The heated floor in the bathroom was a lovely touch. The well stocked kitchen made making meals real easy. Even with the rain we had a perfect weekend and can't wait to come back again. Jake and Eddie really know how to make a really inviting home that you don't want to leave.

The weather was warm enough this time where we got to enjoy smores on the campfire and sat on the dock to watch the beautiful northern lights play across the sky.
