Spacious, sparkling clean, and luxurious lake house with gorgeous views. The entire downstairs has large picture windows that look out onto the beautiful lake, which was the perfect backdrop for enjoying for our long weekend with family. The kids loved kayaking, playing in the large backyard, and sleeping in the comfy bunk beds. The adults watched their outdoor fun while grilling on the back porch, relaxing on the screened-in side porch, and around the backyard firepit. The kitchen had everything we needed for large family meals. We all enjoyed playing in the gameroom, which boasts an air hockey table, ping pong, basketball, and a plentiful selection of board games. Bedrooms and bathrooms all had high quality towels and linens. Best of all was our host Tessa, who was very friendly, responsive, and helpful at every turn. We would love to come back to this perfect lake getaway!

Very cozy home that my fiancé and I felt right at home in. We had an amazing late Valentine’s weekend. Hot tub was amazing on the cool crisp nights and ambiance was peaceful! I would definitely come back in the spring/summer and take advantage of the boat.

We booked Greg and Lisa's place because it was very near to family we were visiting at Christmas. And, even though it was right in the middle of the busiest Holiday season Greg and Lisa were very responsive with any request or questions we had. We were quite pleasantly surprised to see the kitchen is more well equipped than how it appears in the photos. There is a new 2 burner induction cooktop as well as a small countertop oven. We were eating with family elsewhere, but I feel I could have prepared a full meal in the kitchen if I had needed or wanted to. We also appreciated how comfy the big sectional sofa was. It was perfect for cuddling and watching a movie with our daughter whom we hadn't seen for a long time. Thanks Greg and Lisa! We will probably be back!

John is “the” host! We had a great time in his property. The property has everything you need to have a great time. You can fish, swim in the pond, play pool, etc. John takes really good care of you, cannot ask for a better host!

This is a nice, little, and clean cabin in a perfect and peaceful location for exploring all areas. I found it in the middle of Cherokee and Banner Elk so if you don’t mind some driving you can enjoy many different things. Rick was responsive and helpful before, during, and after our stay.

Fantastic stay during a visit with family over the holiday. Beautiful view of the lake..private…quiet. 100% would book again.

We loved this location - IT had an awesome view of the Lake and it was so peaceful .One could enjoy all the sounds Mother Nature had to offer. The property was well maintained, bold, colorful flowers placed strategically in pots, There were so many outdoor spaces available for activities! Lots of places to sit,eat, play cards, games, rest, lounge, socialize, listen to music, excercise etc. They provided equipment and " extras for enjoying the water . We just loved it here and Anita and Tim were were SUPER HOSTS. They made our stay easy, memorable, and enjoyable! ( Plenty of thoughtful EXTRAS.)There was lots TO DO and all kinds of outdoor spaces, ( that were lovely and inviting) to do it in.; Very friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful hosts. Our STAY was Stellar and just too SHORT! THANK YOU - ANITA and TIM!

My husband and I needed some much-needed R&R and that is just what we got at this beautiful home. Loved the decor, the super comfortable couch and bed! We never made it to the Jacuzzi tub; however, the open shower was cool! Would defiantly recommend this romantic spot.

Derek was a great host. He is very proactive and communicates quickly when we write messages to him. The place was very cozy, and we enjoyed the lake views from the balcony in the mornings and evenings. The condo had all the necessary items needed for a week's stay. The kitchen had plenty of pans, plates, and cups. The community has many things to do in the summer and winter. We visited in the winter and still had access to a gym, pool, spa, sauna, and steam room. The spa on site is excellent. We got massages and couldn't have been happier. The condo is three stories tall and has a game room in the basement. There is a master on the second floor with a private balcony, and the main floor has a very comfortable living area with another deck. It was very spacious and well-maintained. The instructions for check-in and check-out are straightforward. It's a great place, and we would rent from April & Derek in the future.

Four generations of our extended family had a fabulous time enjoying the beautiful mountain and lake views during the Christmas holiday! We had beautiful holiday decorations which added to the ambience. Everything you need and more is there to make for a stress-free vacation!

This house is AMAZING! It exceeded our expectations. We had 10 adults in our group and we had plenty of room! The bedrooms were beautifully decorated with comfortable bedding! The 3 living room spaces were perfect for us to spread out. We loved the big windows all around the house as they brought in plenty of natural light. The kitchen and dining room table were large and perfect for 10 of us to cook and enjoy a meal together. The outside space is everything you see in the photos. We enjoyed the hot tub, fire pit and the deck with a beautiful view during our stay. Rumbling Bald resort has so much to do as well. We were only there for 2 nights, but did enjoy dinner at the restaurant, the bar and the beach during our stay. Absolutely wonderful is all we can say! We look forward to staying here again! The host was very responsive and easy to communicate with! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this beautiful home!!

Joy’s place was fantastic!! Better than the pictures! High end furnishings, best equipped kitchen ever and all the comforts of home! Not a detail missed in this condo! We enjoyed the amenities at Rumbling Bald. Close to chimney Rock.

Great place for a lake weekend! I stayed here with 4 of my girlfriends and we had so much fun. There were plenty of floats, life jackets and activities for all of us to enjoy. I would definitely recommend staying here with your friends or family if you're looking for a little getaway.

The host was amazing with responding and even reaching out with things we might have forgotten. The house was amazing inside and out. Anything you might be able to think of was available. From body wash down to ziploc bags were available. We even appreciated the good hand soap (lol) not watered down. They did not skimp on anything with from furniture to toilet paper. Book it! Just not when I am ready to book again(lol)! Bravo to the host!

The place was very nice and met our needs. We feel the price was more than we anticipated after seeing the cleaning fees and other fees added, you learn from other places we've stayed in the past that the cost was our biggest issue. We only had a full day and a half with the family which we felt could have been a longer stay for what we paid. Anyway it is a very nice place for those that have bigger pockets.

We booked this home because we were in town for our daughters baby shower weekend. It was ten minutes from their home and it housed all our family who flew in from out of town. We had a catered meal and everyone had enough space to visit and mingle. The house and location was perfect for what we needed that weekend.

This is a beautiful house and is a perfect place to gather family together. The kitchen and bathrooms were stocked extremely well, which was greatly appreciated. I also loved how all the light switches were labeled so we didn't have to guess which switch went with which lights. The downsides of this house, and which I think should be a greater warning, is that the driveway is extremely steep (I am surprised that it even meets building codes!). I don't believe every kind of vehicle could manage it. And more on steepness.....OMG the walk down to the lake was extremely steep and the gravel covering the walk is very slippery. I think stairs (made with cross ties) would have been a better solution. Young children or older adults will definitely have trouble with this. But, I loved that we had use of the kayaks down at the lake. We really enjoyed the use of those! One last note is that the master bed is very hard and the pillows are flat. I definitely suggests bringing your own pillows.

Wonderful homes that allowed us to celebrate Christmas together. We want to come back in the summer.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Shelly's beautiful home. The house was very welcoming and the property was so peaceful. We especially loved the outdoor screened porch - we spent most of our time out there. We went with our 1 year old, so it was easy to keep him contained out there, while still being "outside". It was also so convenient to be right on the water with the dock available! The house is beautifully decorated, but we did have to relocate a few of the decor on lower shelves and the table runners to keep our son from pulling them down. Everything was easy to return to its original location at checkout. Of course, this is no problem at all if you don't have small children! The home was located about 15 to 20 minutes from shops and restaurants by car. We did several fun things around the area and found many attractions within a 30 to 40 minute drive. Shelly was so kind, informative, and quick to respond to any questions. We would love to stay again!

Staying at Melinda and Andy’s at Lake Lure is our family’s favorite summer tradition. This is our fifth summer and we look forward to it all year. Kayaking, floating, and swimming on the lake; family games and meals on the porch; seeing turtles, swimming with ducks, and catching lizards; outings to Chimney Rock, Asheville, and Black Mountain; hiking, lying or reading on the daybed porch swing; making a fire for s’mores lakeside. This is a special place and we are grateful to have made so many family memories here.
