The Loverly is truly lovely—you’ll feel at home! With a fireplace, a chaise lounge, a hot tub, and more, it’s the perfect retreat. Plan a shopping day in Hendersonville. The local consignment shop, which supports hospice care, offers great prices. For a meal, check out Shine—known for unique dishes and excellent service. In Fairview, The Local Joint is a must-visit. This old-fashioned diner, owned by a single mom, serves hearty meals that last all day. Their eggs Benedict, with fresh spinach, avocado, and homemade skillet potatoes, is a standout. Watching “CoCo” cook—his energy is unmatched—is an experience! Get there early; we went twice, and it was packed. Consider contributing to The Local Joint’s “pay it forward” option. A $10 donation covers a meal for someone in need. This region of North Carolina was severely impacted by Hurricane Helene. The destruction is heartbreaking, but the community is rebuilding. Many businesses and walking trails remain closed, so keep that in mind.

Beautiful views with great location. Secluded but close to town

This place was awesome my girlfriend and I spent our anniversary here and will definitely recommend to people we know. It was beautiful going out in the water and the sunset was great in the evening. Loved staying here would love to come back

Everything was as advertised. Very quiet and private with the fencing in the back yard. They also had firewood and everything you needed to enjoy outside. Very clean, and comfortable!

This location is perfect if you will be spending most of your time outside and exploring the area. It was 5 minutes from hiking and downtown blowing rock. 15-30 minutes from two different ski slopes and a picturesque scene. However if you plan on being in the house a significant amount, I would recommend only sleeping 6. With the pullout sofa in the main area, there is not much space for 8 people to hang out together. The dining area and game room felt very crowded. We also had an issue with bedding for the sleeper sofa as well as towels for the 7-8th person (although the host was very responsive- it was a confusing process). Overall a great stay and for 6 or less people a no brainer- stay here you won’t regret it.

If you’re looking for a magical piece of paradise in the mountains this is your place. My fiancé and our two puppies stayed for the weekend. It was incredibly relaxing, quiet and the views are breathtaking. Nancy is so accommodating, responsive and kind. She has done such an amazing job making sure everything you could possibly need is available. A few of my favorite things about our stay: - Nancy greeting us up the hill and signaling where to park at the very late hour we arrived - Cozying up by the fireplace looking at the views - Meeting the goats on our morning walk - Full kitchen equipped with everything we needed to make meals - Comfy bed and a good nights rest - The Hangar (SO COOL!!) - The home design, big windows and a beautiful shower while looking at the mountains - ROBES! So many to choose from and so cute - The prepared puppy station, we did not use but really appreciated it. Thank you Nancy <3 we are excited to come back and make more memories.

Perfect Mountain Getaway This Airbnb was the perfect escape! The location was absolutely stunning, with easy access to the Blue Ridge Parkway and breathtaking views. The cabin itself was cozy and comfortable, with everything we needed for a relaxing stay. The hot tub was the cherry on top, providing the perfect way to unwind after a day of hiking or exploring. We loved sitting by the creek and listening to the soothing sounds of the water. We made so many great memories here and can't wait to come back!

Benjamin and Sommer were great hosts! The home was relatively easy to find, but I would recommend using a four-wheel drive vehicle as the main road to the home and driveway to the house were very steep and uneven. If you're looking to get away from the noise and see the stars, this is a wonderful spot.

Sweet guest cottage in the mountains. Theme decor is very welcoming and comfortable. Gives rustic chic vibes. Feels spacious. Sofa bed linens and mattress pad made for a v comfortable place to sleep. Two bathrooms and ample hot water and towels. Up a steep hill, choose the one minute longer route up Possum vs Sunset road and it is not as twisty and steep. Probably not a walk to town kind of place due to the hillside perch but close enough that you wont mind the quick drive. We saw deer, bunnies and a bear in the neighborhood. Thoughtful host, lots of nice little touches (S'MORES!!!!).

Wonderful cottage! This was our second time staying here. Great location and perfect for my husband, myself, and our pup! We were arriving after dark and Brianna was kind enough to have the exterior light on for us. She was very responsive as well!

We have stayed here before, we always feel at home. Roger and his wife are very responsive. we look forward to staying here again soon.

I know Black Mountain, my family is originally from there, so I knew the location I was renting. Blocks from downtown and a couple of block's from my Uncle's house. The house was perfect, clean and well appointed. The fenced yard worked wonderfully for my German Shepherd. I may use it again on my next visit.

This is our second Christmas at Julie’s place. It is so perfect in every way!! We purchased steak and eggs from her this time and that will DEFINITELY be a stable each visit forward. Everything was so fresh and delicious! I HIGHLY recommend this home and can’t wait to return!! Just book it….IT’S SO GOOD FOR YOUR SOUL!!! ♥️

All I can say about this property is WOW! The beautiful views along with the peaceful sound of the river, private and secluded but close enough to town for shopping or dining out. This is a great place for a romantic get away or even a family vacation to get break away from normal routine. Julie was so helpful with location recommendations (open road coffe!! absolutely recommend!), friendly, and a gracious host. We felt right at home here. We WILL be booking again!

We stayed in the Gala Getaway cottage and it was wonderful! The description given by Jennifer was spot on. The cottage is extremely private and clean. Next time we visit the area we definitely hope that the cottage is available as it is close to everything. It is convenient to access downtown Hendersonville, wineries and several apple orchards . It is minutes from highway 26 while providing a quiet peaceful setting. We recommend it to anyone visiting the area

Joe was a great host, and the cottage is perfect. I stayed in early March, and the songbirds were tweeting in the trees surrounding the cabin. I loved listening to them in the morning as I enjoyed my coffee. I made eggs and sausage for breakfast, and I found everything I needed in the kitchen. The bathroom was spotless and modern. Loved the window. Curved shower was so cool, and great water pressure.

The cottage was perfect with beautiful views right outside the windows. Definitely would recommend it if you’re looking for a place to stay in that area.

David did a great job accommodating for everything, it was just like it was pictured and the area felt quiet and safe.

Lovely little cottage in a holler with creek and privacy. We had some light snow but roads were passable. Great place for small family and close to numerous activities.

We had a wonderful stay due to the cleanliness and offerings of this beautiful home. It was truly a home away from home -- all the furniture, fixtures and appliances were top notch. When we had one concern (the pilot light had gone out, so we weren't getting hot water), they addressed it within minutes! We are so grateful to have found this home and would, without a doubt, book again the next time we're visiting the area.
