Holly was nothing but welcoming and helpful at every turn. Her and her husband were friendly, transparent, responsive, and accommodating throughout the entire process. Their home is beautiful and well decorated. We enjoyed our stay very much and would easily recommend this listing to anyone visiting the Richmond area. The location is within single-digit minutes of all of the great places to eat and see in the city and we enjoyed that very much. Thank you for hosting us!

This house is perfect for a small family looking to visit the area. The location was great for us as we have family nearby and normally have to stay over 30 mins away when we come. The house is beautifully decorated with cute farmhouse vibes to fit the area. We did have a few cleanliness concerns but we made the host aware and she was outstanding with her responsiveness and willingness to resolve any issues that were brought to her. I truly believe the issue was with the cleaning company not completing their job to the best of their ability but I trust that the host is going to take care of it for future guests. Overall we really enjoyed our stay. Chelsea is a wonderful host with great communication and we would love to stay here again when we return.

We had a great stay at Heartthrob. We came for a soccer tournament and stayed 4 nights. The house is darling. Lacey was extremely responsive when we couldn’t find a toaster :) and she offered to buy one and drop it by (not necesary but a great offer). Some people note the bar down the block as a negative but I would like to say we ate/drank there twice and it was great, super good food and drinks and very friendly and welcoming. Great job on restoring this great little iconic home!

The home was very clean and looked brand new. Good amount of space to relax or shoot a game of pool, which my granddaughter enjoyed! Comfortable beds for our group of four. Short 5 min drive to the main street of Ashland for breakfast while watching the trains pass by. A perfectly place equine store caught our eye. Because we have family in the area, we’ll be back!

This was our second stay at this house - very comfortable and convenient to all of the things to do in the Richmond area. Very nice, quiet, peaceful neighborhood. It will be our go to place to stay when visiting Richmond. Claude is an excellent host.

House was very clean and priced well. Location was safe and felt like it was a higher end area when driving around. We never felt unsafe at the local grocery store and restaurants down the street. Location is close to the highway between Richmond and Williamsburg. It was an easy 1 hour drive down the highway to see historical Williamsburg, Jamestown, and Hampton, VA. It was also very close to Cold Harbor an dGaines Mill Civil War battlefields for a quick thing to do if you have some down time. They have walking trails at the battlefields to take a quick hike. Check in was easy with just entering the passcode in the door. Place had a fully stocked kitchen that made meal preparation easy. Place is very private and surrounded by trees making you fell out in the country. There is a neighbor that shares the driveway but you cannot see their house at all and it felt removed from them. There is only one neighbor that you see coming and going when you leave the house.

We had the best time! Location was perfect- walkable to local restaurants and parks, and a great place to take day trips from. We went to Monticello and historic Jamestown, and enjoyed the hot tub when we got back. Richmond has a lot to offer, and we will definitely stay again when we come back :-) Patrick had clear instructions, great recommendations, and was super responsive and helpful!

It was a wonderful experience staying at Mary‘s place. When we walked in the place was immaculate cite with sweet touches. I would definitely recommend Mary’s place to anybody. I cannot wait to go back in the spring or summer.

Tanishia’s place was perfect for me to stay during my week working in the Richmond area. The apartment was pristine, everything seemed very new, and had everything that I needed! Will definitely stay there again!!

I cannot say enough good things about Shaniesha’s place. It’s very clean, will all the amenities you need. She is very responsive and made sure I was well taken care of during my stay!

Taryn's place was amazing. It was in a really nice location near everything. The upstairs patio was a plus. The space was open and not cluttered with doodads and do hickeys. Taryn was attentive and responsive. She really cares about the guest experience. Thanks Taryn!!!!!

Sue is the perfect host, very responsive and flexible with our later than hoped for arrival and providing a friendly welcome with helpful recommendations. The space is lovely and in a charming neighborhood with cute restaurants and historic sites within walking distance and very close to drive to other area attractions. Overall, we had a wonderful experience and would return.

Loved my stay. I was there for seven weeks. It is spacious and airy. I found it to be well appointed for my needs. Excellent location for all things related to Richmond’s west end and so easy to hop on 288 for Midlothian and Short Pump and a pretty short ride to Charlottesville. Beautiful view of resort style pool. I would definitely stay here again. Host was very responsive.

We were in town for my grandson‘s wedding. Blake’s Airbnb has an amazing private location, large pond, grill, fire pit, very nice screen in porch with a great view. If you’re looking for a serenity location this is the perfect place for you. The house has been nicely renovated and very clean. We will definitely be back for a nice long weekend getaway.

Greg's cabin felt like a great escape! Enjoyed the coziness of the place and the warmth while surrounded by snow. Everything was as mentioned in the listing and the board games in the home was perfect for me and my family to play while there.

We had a lovely stay and created wonderful memories with our friends and family at this beautiful log cabin. This is the perfect place if you are looking for a remote getaway that is still easy access to Richmond, which has plenty to do. Our favorite was waking up and looking at the 3 horses, taking walks down to the river, and our kids playing together in the playroom, which has all the toys a kid could ever want. The home is absolutely beautiful, clean, and comfortable. The hosts are very friendly, helpful, and responsive. We would highly recommend staying here.

We loved this place!!! The location was very secluded and beautiful. We loved all of the amenities (especially the pizza oven, it was AMAZING) and enjoyed exploring the property on the trail. The kitchen and bathroom were clean and well stocked. The loft with the bed was a little tight and the ladder was very small if you are someone uncomfortable with heights and ladders. Also the AC unit was great, except for the fact that it is located under the loft so the cold air was very very slow to make it up to the bed, so expect to be warm at night. I loved the garage door providing access to the back deck, however there was no bug screen so we saw many little creatures in the house throughout our time. The host, Trevor, was very friendly and accommodating! He has done a great job with this place and overall we really enjoyed our stay here!
