We're just back from a lovely weekend at the granary. The accommodation is beautiful. Clearly a lot of love has gone into making this a home from home for those who visit. Its a tranquil, relaxing space with everything you could need for a break. The kitchen and living area is perfect for families and the bedrooms are cosy and comfortable. Rebecca and Joe were also brilliant. Great communication, lots of lovely personal touches like toys for our little girl and freshly baked bread and scones. The location is great with plenty of walks and great pubs. We would absolutely love to come back.

We had a great weekend staying in the annexe. Lovely and comfortable and clean with everything you could possibly need in peaceful, private surroundings. The Lamarsh Lion and Henny Swan were both very good. Nyree was a great host and super helpful . There’s so many places to visit in the surrounding area; we’d definitely stay again.

Had a nice relaxing mini break, host was very accommodating, place was bigger than expected, very clean and smelt amazing! Hot tub was an added bonus! Will be visiting again soon. One of the best places I’ve stayed in!

We stayed for a long weekend in this beautiful cottage Everything was perfect, we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves Lavenham is lovely, we visited Tatum’s Tea house and the Great House Hotel for a Sunday roast dinner which we highly recommend We will definitely be back to stay again

A beautiful location in gorgeous surroundings. Polly sent plenty of information regarding the accommodation and local area which was extremely helpful. The property was perfect for us as I can't think of anything better than waking up to the sound of birds singing rather than the sound of traffic! The house was very warm and cosy and it was lovely to be able to walk around the grounds and lake. I definitely recommend staying here if you are looking to visit this area!

Paul's place was clean, tidy and well presented. We felt very comfortable there. The facilities are good and it is reassuring, knowing that Paul and his wife are on site and could deal with any issues that may occur. We have been here before and will probably return.

This is my second stay, this time with family, and Donna’s place remains wonderful! Beautiful setting nestled in the countryside with picturesque grounds and lake. Donna is so welcoming, helpful, and really made sure we were as comfortable as possible. Hot tub, perfect tennis courts and surrounding walks are all extra treats! Thank you - We’d love to stay again!

Smoky Cart Lodge is in a beautiful peaceful and tranquil place. surrounded by open fields. when the clouds moved the noght sky was incredible, so so clear perfect for stargazing. Public footpath led you to a very welcoming and dog friendly pub, The Anchor Inn. A full fitted kitchen allowed us to cook at ease. The whole place is clean, cosy and like a home from home. I would very much recommend Smoky Cart Lodge as a perfect peaceful stay. Camilla went over and above as a host, with fresh Croissants and Pan au chocolate, good tea and coffee for use, excellent recommendation for our needs and a friendly hello when we saw her in the grounds. We will definitely be back.
